Dear Charlie (lastly); "Here is the patience of the Saints; here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus Christ." After the first four seals are opened; that is, underneath each of these things that are at work in the world is the Martyrs of Jesus under the Altar crying to God for vengeance. What was the answer? "Not until your brethren have likewise been killed as you!"

Dear Charlie (cont.); As for whether we will be here up to the end, "His grace is sufficient for me." Why do you think that Jesus gave us His last words in John 13-15, and Revelation 2-3 in the messages to the Churches, if not for our benefit of being told everything up front; and that we would not be scandalized by those things that are NECESSARY to come first to bring about the Day of the LORD?
  • A disciple on Malachi 3 - 8 years ago
Hi Ann; You have sure got that right! But you know? Birds of a feather flock together! How is it that some of us can feel it immediately and are totally convicted to Run for our lives whenever we get around those kinds? while others don't seem to care a thing for ANYTHING that you're talking about! God separates His own from those who are NOT! The times are made by the kind of people of that time.

"Why standest thou afar off, O LORD? Why hidest thou thyself in times of trouble? The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined." We thank the LORD for the hedge of protection that He's put around us. But as it went with so many of brothers and sisters before us, we too may soon be called upon to prove our faith by patient endurance.
  • Lane on 2 Chronicles 30 - 8 years ago
I do believe that we as Christians have left out the part about hell and judgement. I'm not saying that we should not honor God by music and praise but if it looks like the world, sounds
like the world and conforms to the world then how will the world see Jesus?
  • A disciple on 2 Chronicles 30 - 8 years ago
Douglas; How exactly do you think that this Country can just do that? I know its a very popular idea to tell everyone, "Just come as you are;" and then they come and fill up mega churches to "celebrate." But excuse me; celebrate what? And how do they think that God can simply toss away all His virtue and holiness and standards of a good character, merely to please the multitudes? For the tithing?
  • A disciple on Job 1 - 8 years ago
Ren; if you read 1 Samuel 28, particularly verse 13, you might better understand what happens when we die. Compare with Ecclesiastes 3:21 "Who knows the spirit of man that goes upward, and the spirit of the beast that goes downward to the earth?" and, Ecclesiastes 12:7 "Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it." See also Ezekiel 32.
  • A disciple on Psalms 10 - 8 years ago
"The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation. Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken." Psalm 37:14-15 The tree is known by its fruit. If the Righteous elect a man who wants to do good for the Country; who are they that violently oppose and contradict and accuse?
  • Douglas on 2 Chronicles 30 - 8 years ago

Hello Vanessa. Peace of Christ... Are you baptized in the Name of Jesus?? Do you believe in the trinity? do you keep the Holy Sabbath-Day....Brother James....
  • A disciple on Psalms 19 - 8 years ago
Winnie; "The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shews his handiwork." What is the glory? God's divinity is His glory! There is no number or measure of His understanding, and His power is infinite. His GLORY is His Supreme Greatness, and His Eternal Existence. All these things we have been robbed of learning because of sin and a darkened heathen mind; but Jesus came to restore us!
  • A disciple on Psalms 95 - 8 years ago
"Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms." Psalms 95:2 How do we lift up our hearts and minds out from the cares and fears and drudgery this present evil world, and all that the ungodly are threatening? LOOKING UNTO JESUS! How do we comfort ourselves and one another, and beat back the enemy by speaking the Words of God? LOOKING UNTO JESUS! If we understand anything about the Psalms, it must first be how the Spirit describes the inner life of Christ and all those who love Him, and of the evident truth about what we are set to encounter in this world for Jesus' sake. Whatever the devil and his seed have imagined to do, when God removes His restraint let us bravely stand strong and true in the Lord: "No cross, no crown!" LOOK UNTO JESUS AND REJOICE FOR OUR GREAT AND HAPPY WORLD TO COME WITH HIM!
  • A disciple on Lamentations 1 - 8 years ago
Remember how the Lord Jesus submitted to the authority of the priests and the Sanhedrin; and so also when they delivered Him up to the Gentiles; (which they were subject to); He submitted to the sentence that they gave upon Him? "Now is the Son of man delivered into the hands of sinners;" and now are we also to walk in His steps of submission to the powers that be, for they are appointed by God.
  • A disciple on Matthew 10 - 8 years ago
"But the very hairs of your head are all numbered." There are many things the Lord wants to say to us, but we cannot bear them. A big reason for this not being able to bear them, is in the corrupted view of God in the human's darkened heathen mind and a heart alienated from and hostile to God being God! Why would Jesus have to say that our heavenly Father doesn't give us a scorpion when we ask for an egg, if it wasn't because of the heathen thinking with which we are accustomed to think that if there IS a God He has some sinister design against us. And even from the pulpit we constantly hear this same kind of slander against God sugar-coated with religious sounding talk about why we endure suffering, trials and temptations. Any man who invents or builds something, has to have the understanding in order to perfect his ideas. Why then do men think that God doesn't know or doesn't care about the very smallest parts of our existence? I am convinced that this is what it means to know the Lord, and Him knowing us, that shall be the grounds for God letting us enter into His kingdom when this time is finished.
  • A disciple on 2 Samuel 13 - 8 years ago
What was David supposed to do? Amnon was dead, Absalom was banished and fled! Why is the Righteous the first people look to blame when wicked men do evil? If there had been any of David's sons to receive the Spirit of God and set his course in life to be perfect with God like they saw in their father all their lives, they would have mourned WITH their father over the sin, and not indulged in it?
  • A disciple on Lamentations 3 - 8 years ago
When we read the Gospel Narratives of Jesus' temptations and trials, of His being hated and harassed and persecuted, and of His at one point being completely given into the hands of the wicked to be mocked, condemned and destroyed; how many of us are able to consider what ALL is actually happening? He came into the world for that reason, to bear witness of the truth; and so does He send us.
  • A disciple on 1 Corinthians 15 - 8 years ago
"But why were some too dull to make sure they had Oil for their Lamps?" Its not merely wearing the decorations and ornaments of a Christian costume that will either enable us to endure to the end, or be eventually welcomed into the Wedding Feast of the Lamb; but the intelligence to rightly use what has been provided us, and the holy diligence to REALLY MAKE SURE WE'RE READY FOR HIS COMING!
  • A disciple on 1 Corinthians 15 - 8 years ago
"But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." The greatness and generosity of God is more than any of us will ever understand. As it says in the Psalms, His understanding is infinite i.e. There is no number! Yet we must make sure our calling and election is in the same Spirit as His holiness and love of righteousness and truth that cannot abide a character unfit for His presence and fellowship. He has made every possible provision for our salvation and safe arrival home to Himself after our time here. So what then was the difference between the wise and the foolish virgins? They all were called, and all had the Wedding Garments and Lamps! But why were some too dull to make sure they had Oil for their Lamps? Why sit there waiting like an idiot with no oil for your Lamp? Do you just want to carry a useless lantern, while your hands could be freed up to carry other things? Better make sure how important this Wedding, and the Bridegroom really is to you or don't waste your time!
  • A disciple on John 19 - 8 years ago
Jeff (cont.); You start out nice in your last post, but what don't you agree with? Can't you see a difference in the kinds of sins that men do? Jesus even said, that "ALL MANNER OF SINS SHALL BE FORGIVEN TO THE SONS OF MEN; BUT THE BLASPHEMY OF THE SPIRIT SHALL NEVER BE FORGIVEN: NEITHER IN THIS WORLD OR THE NEXT!" My view is that Judas' sin was against the Spirit, and he was rejected!
  • I AM on Matthew 13 - 8 years ago
When a devil is found hiding in the vessel of my servant; that same devil is found guilty of the sin done in my servant: and is deemed worthy of the punishment, and not my servant! Of how much sorer punishment suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who has trodden under foot the Son of God and has counted the blood of the holy covenant, wherewith my chosen servant was sanctified, an unholy thing?
  • A disciple on Luke 22 - 8 years ago
Hi Jenna; I think you might be referring to the Day of the LORD, the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ in power and great glory: "The sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars shall fall from the heavens, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken." That's a lot different than an eclipse! Is that what you were thinking about? The Lord bless you, Sister.
  • A disciple on Psalms 50 - 8 years ago
Sissy; you were right with your first reaction to this thought. Your Pastor wasn't exactly teaching it right! We are NOT automatically forgiven everything because we're now "saved." How is that fair for those who don't know the Lord, if they would be judged more harshly than us who do? Read the Lord's messages to the Churches in Revelation 2-3; if those that sin don't repent they will perish!
  • A disciple on Galatians 2 - 8 years ago
Daniel; You are too hasty in your speech and sadly lacking in understanding and respect for things much higher than you! Are you so likewise endowed with a calling and wisdom and knowledge by revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ? And are you likewise travelling through foreign Countries risking your life to preach the Glad Tidings under constant persecution, slander, and betrayals? Why scrutinize?
  • Brother Daniel FC on Galatians 1 - 8 years ago
If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book. And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life... Rev. 22:18,19
  • A disciple on Psalms 90 - 8 years ago
"For all our days are passed away in thy wrath: we spend our years as a tale that is told." Moses lived to be 120 years old. Abraham lived to 175. Some from the world of the beginning lived over 900 years. But while many stumble at the idea that God is able to let a man live for so long; what about all the long years of trouble and sorrow, toil and sweat, as it were banished far away from God?
  • A disciple on Matthew 21 - 8 years ago
Hi Ricky; You just said it perfectly! What about the thief on the cross? He knew that his own punishment was just, but that Jesus had done nothing wrong. He believed that Jesus was the Saviour and the King regardless of what evil men had done to Him. He asked the Lord to remember him when He comes into His kingdom. Faith and asking for mercy was all he had; and so the Lord received him completely!
