  • A disciple on Colossians 1 - 8 years ago
Bruce; it seems that every time someone has an honest question, your answer is like a cookie-cutter response; "are you saved? how did you get saved? etc..." Why don't you think a little harder on the questions being asked, and see if you really have something substantial to offer; instead of immediately casting doubts and suspicious insinuations? Knowledge and transformation is not automatic!
  • William - 8 years ago

  • A disciple on Psalms 56 - 8 years ago
"Thou tellest (number, account of) my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?" When the Lord said that "...your reward shall be great in the heavens;" He was saying that He will pay us our wages for working for Him. When the Angel stood at the Altar of incense before God's throne, and offered the prayers of all Saints; this caused the Day of His Wrath to come!
  • Bruce on John 11 - 8 years ago
disciple: how were you saved? did The Father Tug on your Heart? was it by The Blood? It's True, many pastors and others say: just say this prayer or be baptized and your Saved. Many are on The Wide Road./ No one can be Saved without The Father's Call: John 6:44:a tug on your Heart. Without The Blood of Christ, there is no Salvation. The Change is Instantly! The next Day We will know by The Fruit.

  • April on 1 Samuel 14 - 8 years ago
Johnathan seemed to have been moved by father to go without telling anyone else but one person, but when he ate the honey, although he didn't hear what his father said,he should have repented for his wrong doing,or try to see if he could make an amends,we all make mistakes, but does that mean we shouldn't feel something when we make them?,especially since one mans sin leads to the falter of ALL?Amen.
  • EARL on Genesis 1 - 8 years ago
GENESIS,AS OTHER BOOKS,ALWAYS RAISES QUESTIONS. REMEMBER WHEN JESUS SAID WE MUST BECOME AS LITTLE CHILDREN? NOT A QUOTE. GENESIS1 MAKES ME WONDER , WHY IF THE FOWL FLY IN THE OPEN FIRMAMENT OF HEAVEN,AS THEY SURELY DO ACCORDING TO GENESIS? WHERE IS THE WATERS THAT WHERE DIVIDED? WHY IS MAN NOT ABLE TO SEE ? THE LIGHT TO RULE THE DAY ACCORDING TO SCIENCE IS HOW MANY MILLION LIGHT YEARS AWAY?
  • Day 1 begins in darkness and ends in light: Isaiah 45 on Genesis 1 - 8 years ago
7I form the light, form means: to squeeze like potters clay. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? We know light burst forth and the morning began. The light was good. Time began as well as the works of old.(things are born, grow old and die) This was the foundation of this universe and world. Evening and morning in that order. Jesus is the light of the World
  • Wayne on James 3 - 8 years ago
    Abandon the laws of what?
  • Bruce on 1 Samuel 4 - 8 years ago
April: Our Lord will talk to His Children (maybe not all?) The first time I heard His Voice,He said, don't get Married. I thought maybe it's me talking to myself? 5 hrs. Later I'm Married. A year later,He talked to me again, that Voice? I know that Voice! Yes,it is calm, not loud, soft, you just know! Most of the time it's 2-5 words. To Hear His Voice and Feel His presence! The Marriage was from Hell.
  • April on 1 Samuel 12 - 8 years ago
You know its so easy to read these scriptures and say what THEY did wrong or should do and what WE should do,but do we remeber these things when we ourselves have went back and forth back and forth,do WE always stay on point and NEVER fall?,so who are we to judge,we are NOONE,we ALL have done what these people did on some level, question is how long will it take us to STAY w/ father I pray 4u n me.
  • April on 1 Samuel 11 - 8 years ago
I have to say,so many people were taught by GOD himself or through others but did not seek for it,only in their own convience, and so many today are seeking GOD and would have loved to have a chance to know him like they got to,it's amazing how we get use to OUR ways even when GOD was there,so what does it take now adays for people to see HIS way instead of their own?,most do NOT think he is REAL!.
  • April on 1 Samuel 10 - 8 years ago
Interesting these people wanted nothing to do with GOD yet, they in vs24 this ch. said God save the King,so they were fine with God appoimtimg a king just not him his self,interesting..and when it said taken vs19-21 this ch. is it saying they were swallowed up or something, where were they taken?,Saul was found of course, I'm a little confused about this part.
  • April on 1 Samuel 4 - 8 years ago
Bruce:I was more or less speaking of the Tribulation most feel we're in,REVELATIONS,I know many have said that time has been many times, this WILL sound crazy but about 4 yrs ago I was in the kitchen having a convo in my head when I heard YOUR RUNNING OUT OF TIME speak over my thoughts it was very calm but stern,I was like what do you mean?,am I going to die or something,I feel something is coming.
  • A disciple on Matthew 24 - 8 years ago
Its difficult to say what others know or don't know; even when we ourselves can never really express with words what the Lord has given us to know in our own hearts, how can we judge what we cannot see in others' hearts? When we have a thing being revealed to us, we still are just beginning to see a little, and ought not to say how much others aren't getting it! We don't want to be hypocrites!
  • A studier of The Word on Matthew 24 - 8 years ago
This chapter is full of misconceptions because many people fail to notice that Jesus is answering two questions. He said the temple and city would be destroyed... The disciples are in awe, when?! They ask. And with a second question mark they ask what will signal us of your return and the end of this age? They recognize that these are two separate events and the end is just after Christ's return.
  • A disciple on Romans 6 - 8 years ago
In the parable about the lord who forgave his servant, and that same servant went out and took his fellow-servant by the throat, saying, Pay me what you owe! The other servants were grieved when they saw that and told their lord: so he called him and said to him, I forgave you all that debt, because you asked me; shouldn't you have had mercy on your fellow-servants, like I had pity on you?
  • Janice on Psalms 91 - 8 years ago

  • Lu2677 on Genesis 3 - 8 years ago
Lostribeman, Gen.4 Adam knew his wife and she conceived, had a son named Cain.If Cain is NOT mentioned in the Lineage of Adam as you claim, how do you explain? Gen.4:17 "Cain's wife bare (gave birth to) Enoch" v.18, etc. gives family names born to Enoch, and so on.
"Adam knew his wife" The word "knew" in holy writ many times refers to sexual intercourse.
    Gen.4:25, 1Samuel 1:19, Gen.4:17,etc.
  • Son of God is the Word (Bruce) Rev 19:13 John 1:1Mark 13:23ily on Genesis 1 - 8 years ago
Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth .. behold, I have foretold you all things. As man we know not how but the general outline in perfect order. The LORD is my rock, salvation
  • A disciple on 1 Kings 3 - 8 years ago
"Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? one who is able to judge between his brethren?" and, "why even of yourselves, judge ye not what is right?" It is a bad teaching that says we as Christians are not to judge. "Know ye not that we shall judge angels? . . . Know ye not that the Saints shall judge the world?" How else are we to keep the Lord's house clean and safe from wicked spirits?
  • A disciple on 1 Kings 3 - 8 years ago
Irene (cont.) and when Solomon had that dream when God appeared to him, and told him to ask whatever he wanted; what was in his heart was to be like his father David in his ability to care for Israel. If he had secret pride, as you say, how did God not see it afar off, and confront him with that evil in his heart? you are mistaken about that! God saw what was in his heart, and was pleased to give.
  • Levi J. Ziegler on Jonah 4 - 8 years ago
There seems to be a Jonah in each of us. What we do with that Jonah is our choice. I must ask of each of us "are we in a stadium or on the playing field?" When we hear that still small voice or are faced with the obvious, are we a Jonah or a Moses, David, Jeremiah, Esther or a Miriam? When the going gets tough the tough get going. Even going into Nineveh!
  • A disciple on Genesis 1 - 8 years ago
1228; You ask a question that only God can give a complete answer: but we'll try the best we can to help with that one! In Revelation it says about there being no light of the sun or the moon, because the glory of God is the lamp, and the Lamb the light thereof. That sure makes you think! It also says about God, that He dwells in the light that no man can approach unto. The light in the beginning?
  • Felicia on Colossians 1 - 8 years ago
    Verse 9
How do we become filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding? Kindly add some revelation to mine, please. Thank you.
  • Heavens Acts 7..(56).. Eph 4:..(10)..ily on Genesis 1 - 8 years ago
I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God. also(Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?
He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) Our creator is on the right hand of God and is above all the Heavens. Stephen and Paul understand as we do
  • Agbeyei nathaniel amakeme on 2 Timothy 4 - 8 years ago
You will need to understand that verse of the scripture very will before you will be able to accept why his disciples have to baptize in the name of Jesus, and not in father, son, and holy ghost.
Now let look at it.Jesus said baptize in the name of the father, son, and holy ghost. Please the emphasis is not father nor son either. The emphasis is in the name of the father and FATHER IS NOT A NAME?Is title
  • 1228 Consultancy on Genesis 1 - 8 years ago
Genesis 1:3 declares the creation of Light. Note however that it was not until Genesis 1:14 that God created the Sun and the heavenly bodies. Following chronology of creation, is Genesis 1:3 suggesting that there is a source of light other than the sun? Other than fire? Or is the verse simply metaphorical? This comment posts the question; what light was created on the first day?
  • Ren on 2 Timothy 4 - 8 years ago
The proper form of baptism is in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as Jesus designated in Matt. 28:19, "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit." The clear command of Jesus is to baptize this way. Then why do we see so many instances in the New Testament where people were baptized "in Jesus' name"?
  • Lu2677 on Ezekiel 31 - 8 years ago
Word,I have given more thought to your comment about the trees. John 3:8 "For the devil sinneth from the beginning"You said Satan IS the tree of knowledge of good and evil. When does Satan do good? In the garden; if Eve did NOT eat (as you claim) fruit of the tree of knowlege good and evil, of which God told her not to do.What was the deception that Eve succumbed to that caused our sinful state?
