Word,I posted a reply to your comment on chapter 2; page. Also, Adam "knew" (had intercourse with) Eve and she gave birth to Cain their first child after God removed them from the garden in Chapter 4. Because of these events of Eve's deception (the fall of man) all are born under sin.The concept of "Satan had Cain" is not in scripture. Where may I ask do you get your ideas? Books/pastor/friends?

I, too, am one in need of salvation, which is the preservation of the soul, which was granted to me somehow, someway, in the eonosphere(
made up name). Nevertheless, is it not mine to do with as I desire. Will it endure no matter what or will it die in the lake of fire for carelessness towards God law of Monotheism? Hebrews is about Salvation in Faith. Moses is Salvation in obedience. Right?

5:19 helps us to identify who the ruler of the world is. Who is “the wicked one”? Satan the Devil.

Word, I understand what God says about creation in chapter 1. I don't understand what you are saying about it. On this page you say "Satan was the tree of good and evil" So you are saying the fruit that Eve ate, the fruit of the tree that God warned her not to EAT, was plucked from Satan's body??? Christ is from the blood line of Adam and Eve because she is "the mother of all the earth"

Can you imagine some Church leader throwing out John the Apostle, or any of those who supported Paul? So MUCH "parroting" of others' sayings, and guessing at the meaning of Scripture! Why is it so neglected to teach the younger to be quiet and wait on the Lord? Knowledge and understanding comes by continuing in the Word in reading and DOING; and by asking in prayer and waiting for growth and maturity; and by time and patience, through proving faithful by many trials. A novice has none of THESE!

How do we pray? Matthew 6:5-13 the Lord Jesus tells us exactly: first; not to do so as an actor under an assumed character to put on or give a false or misleading appearance to conceal one's true nature, motives or thoughts - NOT as a hypocrite! Not for fondness of praise from others in Church or on the streets; Not for "giving light to others;" Not as the heathen, acting out of superstition.

I am NOT being 'holier-than-thou, nor judgmental, but HOW can anyone read this chapter, 1 Sam. 20, and not know what the arrows were all about??? It's made so very plain.

Walter, If a brother or sister doesn't want to go to a church; what does it concern you? Many in the Scriptures had to walk alone; not as a sign of God's disfavor, but of His Election. Not going to a Church doesn't mean they don't want fellowship; but more likely because they can't find it among the Church cliques of hypocrites and impostors. A true brother or sister will always recognize family!

T. Eric; you are right! The story of how Christians started observing Sunday instead of the Sabbath, goes back to the Emperor Constantine; who after he became a Christian (?) still worshiped the sun-god (Nimrod), and wanted to keep observing sun-day in his honor. It has really nothing more to do with the first day of the week, like many think. The early disciples from the Gentiles didn't do that!

What the soldier demonstrated that Jess found so amazing was his grasp of the concept of being under authority. This soldier knew and obeyed authority over him, and it gave him his authority he needed. Jn. 15:5

God "RECYCLES"... "WHY"?? Because you are sitting on your "CAN?!! Seek your "REDEMPTION VALUE" in this Life... As the Bible is both a teaching and test to produce a testimony of truth. As in that one may find "Conviction", that being best described as a purpose in this physical life beyond one's own selfish desires and carrying that out to the best of one's ability, thus finding "Earning Redemption" in the eyes of God... 1 Peter 4:8 And above all things, have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.

Can anyone define a backslidden Christian? It is used in the OT referring to the nation of Israel but not in the NT referring to those who are born again. Any examples in the bible where someone saved didn't want to go to church, fellowship w/the saints, read their bible, witness for Christ...etc? It's a serious question, thx!

Hi Irene; What the daughters of Zelophehad were saying to Moses, was that their father was not a part of the wicked rebellion of Dathan, Abiram, and Korah; (which was as it were, a high-water-mark of the intense envy, hostility and unbelief generally in the whole Nation of Israel); and that "he died in his own sins," I take to mean, generally, as we all have sinned. Does that help?

Peter; from the examples used by the Lord here; who were the ones remaining? not the wicked, but the saved! Only Noah, and they that were with him in the ark were left after the cataclysm. Of all those who lived in the cities of the plain, on the south shore of what is now the Dead Sea; only Lot and his family escaped the overthrow of fire and burning sulfur. Read Matthew 13; the evil are removed.
