Day 6 is completed and so is the chapter.I know 6 means the completion of work, but why not have day 7 included in this chapter? Because after Elohim and our Father rested we moved into day 8. Day 8 is not completed. But here we have most importantly the beginning linage of Jesus Christ. I mentioned earlier if man was working on his iniquities. It may have not been observed as that for Adam .

The word image means: a phantom, illusion, resemblance, representative figure. This is who we are as mortals. But this is not to say that some souls maybe new. For when did God first make Job? JOB 40 :15. THIS great behemoth did not exist at the timing of the book of Job. So This brings to mind have we made more than one trip to this earth to work on our own iniquities? But it is clear man was

THE term whale is not a creature that we would recognize today. This term is used in Ezekiel 23:3. Here it is called a dragon.I hope you have caught the fact that they have found single cell life 3.8 Billion years ago. Why would it be so hard to find life older than this? I have a rock that has a fern embedded in it.It has not made it to the core of this earth and been melted and then cooled.
  • Peter A. Okebukola on Mark 5 - 8 years ago
Are you laden with sickness in body or in soul? Come onto Jesus who has power to heal all infirmities and sin-sick souls. He did all the casting out of the devil when He was man on earth. He is the same today and evermore shall be.
  • Irene123 on Romans 2 - 8 years ago
    V. 29 - We, whether blood Jews or Gentiles (Greeks, the Gentiles were called Greeks for awhile); when we obey Acts 2:38 (" ... what must we do"?) - we are all Jews in our hearts in God's eyes. A 'gentile' in the N.T., as in the O.T. - is a soul that needs Jesus' salvation.

  • Irene123 on Acts 15 - 8 years ago
To Brenda on 11/21/13 - quote: "If it wasn't for Jesus dying for , how would we ever make it?" unquote. If one really looks at that statement and KNOWS God's word - it's easy to see - there would be no 'we', nor Jesus, nor God, nor creation. But because God IS (not created), voila! here we are.
  • Irene123 on Acts 15 - 8 years ago

I have a cousin who claims the angel stiring the water was only a legend. He claimed based on early transcript the verse ... the a angel... was not in the original text. What do you say to this?
  • Irene123 on John 10 - 8 years ago
    V. 33 - " ... thou being a man ... "; my question is - they saw His works, they heard Him quote from ALL the Law and Prophets, and they agreed He was unlearned. So, who or 'what' were they looking for to be the Messiah? They also said - never man spake like this man. The reason they didn't believe is because they th'ot a NOW deliverer would come to exit the Romans.
  • Irene123 on John 8 - 8 years ago
    V. 9 - being pricked in their conscience; I wonder, did any one of them think even further and maybe turn to Jesus ..... ? Or maybe, if they mentioned such a thing, their peers talked them out of it: "but think of the prestige of men you will lose ... " and etc. Just as we are today.
  • Peter A. Okebukola on Matthew 28 - 8 years ago
Matthew 28: 18- Jesus said: "All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth." Our Lord Jesus has risen from the dead and He will come back again. Since He has ALL powers, what is there too hard for Him to do? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. He has power to save our sin-soaked souls. He has power to heal. He has power to provide for ALL our needs. All hail Jesus!
  • Irene123 on Exodus 6 - 8 years ago
    Reginald T. - What is God's name ..... ?
  • Irene123 on Ephesians 2 - 8 years ago
If we really love Him, why do we so frequently celebrate the grace of Ephesians 2:8, and so seldom acknowledge the grace of Tit. 2:11-12? After all, they both come from God's word.
If we truly love Him, why do we find so many excuses to not come together with others of like mind to celebrate our relationship and learn more about Him? Heb. 10:25
  • Bruce on Deuteronomy 17 - 8 years ago
Irene:---that we must through much "Tribulation" enter into The Kingdom of God: Acts 14:22 / Yet Hath he not root himself, but dureth for a while: for when "Tribulation"or "Persecution" arises because of The Word he is offended. • I AM on Romans 5 - 8 years ago
How long will ye imagine mischief against a man? ye shall be slain all of you: as a bowing wall shall ye be, and as a tottering fence. Arise, O LORD, in thine anger, lift up thyself because of the rage of mine enemies: and awake for me to the judgment that thou hast commanded.
  • A disciple on Psalms 9 - 8 years ago
"To the chief Musician upon Muthlabben (translation: To Die For The Son), A Psalm of David." What's in a title? There seems to be many Psalms that David wrote, because of what happened over the matter of Absalom. Every line is full of deep meaning, of what is with the inner life with God. Our secrets sorrows, and the hard things He gives us to know, all shape our character and friendship with Him.
  • Quintessential on John 20 - 8 years ago
Lot of cohesion of evil killed jesus if you still have any doubt in your heart that he is your only salvation and true resurrect to eternal tranquility ... then I'll toss you some marshmallows for the long dark camp hades...ya dig?
  • Irene123 - 8 years ago
he who now letteth - will not go through the tribulation. That only stands to reason, Isa.1:18. Why - would a loving God who sent His Son to die for our sins, He loved us that much, then let us go through the day of God's wrath?! LOVE does not operate that way. We shall have tribulation in THIS life, but THAT is only certain individuals; cont.
  • Irene123 on Deuteronomy 17 - 8 years ago
" ..... we are not to worship saints or holy men, but we can still PRAY to them ..... "; ??? Hosea; God is speaking to the Israelites priests for withholding His truth from His people. We, in this age of Grace, are His people. To paraphrase - God's eyes run to and fro in the earth, beholding the evil and the good.
  • A disciple on Psalms 8 - 8 years ago
"What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?" Like the way that the verses about God and His greatness and glory surround the mentioning of man; we find ourselves, a being created to be replications of God, standing now at a distance wondering what we are at all. The Word of God in the Scriptures ALONE has the true record of why we are in this case.
  • Eric on Deuteronomy 16 - 8 years ago
To Irene, your comment about v. 4 - Rather hypocritical, unless of course, you have never faltered and have always obeyed the Lord. Have you taken the time to remove the beam from your own eye so that you can see clearly?
  • A disciple on 1 Corinthians 10 - 8 years ago
"For from you sounded out the word of the Lord not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place your faith to God-ward is spread abroad; so that we need not to speak any thing." Did you know, that the Classical World of the Mediterranean, North Africa, and the Middle East, were almost all Christian, before the evil coming of Islam? And did you know the sword of Islam caused the Dark Ages?
