Wether you are poor, mighty or small, the LORD has a plan for us all,to heed to signs and open up our eyes, our life was already choosen for us,but he is just and fair,he gives us free will and it is then up to you,at the end of our days what side will we be standing on?,when all feels lost dig deep within, for we can find his holy light shinning brightly for all to see, even in the darkest places...
  • Wayne on John 14 - 8 years ago
123,the Father is greater than the son. V.28. Also, the Sons throne is in the Father's throne. Is the Father "beside Himself"?
  • A disciple on Psalms 4 - 8 years ago
"O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long will ye love vanity, and seek after leasing? Selah. But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him." David was mightily filled with the Holy Spirit from the day that Samuel anointed him and walked with a perfect heart all his days. He was a light from God for Israel.
  • A disciple on Psalms 3 - 8 years ago
"Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God." What do the Righteous do to make the ungodly hate them? What did Abel do to Cain to make him get angry and kill him? Those who "will not have THIS MAN (Jesus) to rule over them;" who have no heart for knowing or doing the truth; think that their own life without God "proves" that there's no God, and their right to scorn faith.
  • A disciple on Matthew 27 - 8 years ago
"Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders," This has always struck me as powerfully important. When a man does wickedly, and afterwards sees the things he did come to their expected results, and feels scared and sorry for himself; how doesn't he go to God in "repentance?"
  • A disciple on Leviticus 5 - 8 years ago
"..if a soul sin, and hear the voice of swearing, and is a witness, whether he hath seen or known..or if a soul touch any unclean thing..or if a soul swear, pronouncing with his lips to do evil, or to do good, whatsoever it be that a man shall pronounce with an oath.." What does a man do in his body, or in his mind, or what he hears or speaks, that it is not out of his soul doing it?

  • Irene123 on Mark 3 - 8 years ago
Vs. 1-6; would anyone on here - destroy someone for doing good on the 'sabbath'? Do you make your bed in the a.m. on the 'sabbath'? Do you go get your newspaper on the 'sabbath'? These things are the same, actually more, in effort than what Jesus did on the (sic) 'sabbath'.
  • Bruce on John 3 - 8 years ago
Dave:--- And they that were crucified with Him reviled Him. • Jacob on Mark 16 - 8 years ago

  • Irene123 on John 3 - 8 years ago
John (on 'John') - You can't serve God by just the book of John. All 69 bks. of the Bible are God's Word. How old are you?
  • Leow on Psalms 91 - 8 years ago
Does the dragon in v13 refer to dinosaur?
  • Irene123 - 8 years ago
These 'strange' passages are 'metaphors' the Lord uses to help us understand the message He is trying to get across. Some people complain about them and say why didn't He use plain ol' language? They have to take that up with God'; I'm glad He did it this way; I love the language of the KJV - and NOT the NKJV; there are some vs. in it that are - 'skewed'.
  • Molly on John 20 - 8 years ago
I wonder why the Bible doesn't tell us about the many other things done by Jesus during the time between the resurrection and the Ascension? We do know, from the book of James, that Jesus went to preach to the souls in prison -- fulfilling the Scripture "every ear shall hear and every tongue confess"...Perhaps there were others who received direct teaching by Him, as did Saul/Paul.

It would be intersting to have seen what Israel looked like before, because now Israel is across the Globe, I mean how did Earth look before we were all concieved kind of thing, I notice it didnt mention Aaron dying, verses 59-61, just his 2 sons. I wonder if God has ever wept, hes repented for the exsistence of man before, Jesus wept, but I guess its a flesh thing?, God can get angry and jealous.
  • April - 8 years ago
And you as well,Thank you Jesus for dying on the cross for our sins, what a beautiful gift from not only Jesus, but our father who allowed his only begotten son to die for our sins. Would you allow someone you love or a child perhaps die?, knowing what you know now?, how they would perish?,Gods Love for us is AMAZING, no matter how unfair it may seem to some,he has given so much,Thank you God AMEN!
  • Méria Johnfroe - 8 years ago
SCRIPTURES!! When any of us search the Holy Hebrew Scriptures You would understand that Father never allowed Moses to die and be buried! Why? Because Lucifer would have unburied his body and paraded it as A, Proud man to be the one which killed the man which represents the Law of God! No, Father took Moses body as He'd done with Elijah.. This is why Both These men were with Christ in this Garden
  • Méria Johnfroe - 8 years ago

Don't we serve a awesome God?"Paul said to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord
  • Ray321 on Luke 1 - 8 years ago
Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth ? I tell you , Nay; but rather division. Luke12:51. Jesus will separate the bad from the good. Jesus wants no part of evil . I really understand that verse.
  • Bruce on 1 John 2 - 8 years ago
Roy: John wrote John and Peter wrote Peter. I sent a post before, the one above you the content don't look familiar to me so that's confusing? His Salvation is the best thing ever happened to me! When I was in Church before I was Saved I couldn't wait to hear Amen, finally time to leave!
  • David Teer on John 11 - 8 years ago
Why do men fear other men? We should fear who can judge our souls not humans. We must fear the grave as we fear the bed.
  • Irene123 on John 18 - 8 years ago
Jn. 18:38 - "What is truth?" From the book, "The Bible; it's origin and Use" by Word Aflame Elective Series; "Truth, the revelation of God and all things as He sees them, can only be found in the Scriptures."
  • Elizabeth Ryder on John 10 - 8 years ago
vs 34-35, ye are gods? ( Psalm 82) refer to Judges, Israel judges had the law and use the word of God to make judgment. Jesus is saying to the Jews: you're judging me and here you, yourself are call gods, and your mad at me because I call myself one. Jesus is the Supreme God. it was their law because God gave it to them. Word of God can't be broken.
  • A disciple on John 17 - 8 years ago
"I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word." Not all have this Light given to them. Not every one is granted access into this grace. Not for the world, but for "those whom Thou hast given me;" does the Lord especially pray, for all these things to be done in us. WHY? Because we keep His Word!
