I was going over the back pgs. for Acts ch. 2. I took note of some of the names - Nene was the only one I've seen on this site in the last year and she's been gone several mos. Others are - Bible reader, Robert, Nathan, Kings Kid, Born Again, Carol Ford, Rev. Jazzy J, neighbor. What happened to you guys ..... ?

Hello, and how are you all Doing? I am me that's who I am nothing more and nothing less! I believe that I have things to do for GOD, as everyone who loves GOD has things to do! I don't believe in violence accept if I have to defend myself if someone tries to either kill me, to scare me or to hurt me! My favorite subject is GOD, his words inthe Bible, and how he created a new , his image,

"How is it that ye do not understand?" To those who oppose and contradict, there IS NO SIGN GIVEN; but to us who believe and follow Jesus, "Blessed are your eyes, for they see;" and ALL THINGS THAT THE FATHER HAS GIVEN TO JESUS, HE MAKES KNOWN TO US. Why do the haters of the Lord seek a sign, when they have no heart for it? And why do those with eyes to see, so easily act as if they didn't know?

Comparing these two chapters (38, 39), what instructions can we take from these two very different men? They were brothers according to the flesh, but one was righteous and one was evil; one was mistreated and hated, and the other was a friend of the world and a fornicator. It shows also, how that Christ came in the flesh, but not according to the flesh: spiritually Jesus was NOT a son of Judah.

This book was not part of the Bible because it teaches false believes that are in contrast to the rest of the Bible, such as burning incense and ashes to get rid of demons. WHAT?

To losing faith - Matt. 17:20; You have faith; it can GROW; IF - you use it. Using it also means - waiting, because He knows when to answer, Ps. 37:7 - rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him. Also before v. 7 it says, commit thy way unto the Lord. Are you walking in His ways - and not your own? If we're alright with Him - He will answer.

Peter cutting off the soldier's ear - and Jesus healing it (that's love!!); the soldier's name was Malchus. I wonder, after such a testimony from Jesus of who He was - if Malchus ever turned to him ..... ? Maybe I'll see him in heaven ..... ?

Everything God does - has a point. He didn't do v. 22 just to pass by Moses. In v. 23 God's 'back parts' was what He had done - before Moses, in the wa-a-ay distant past - that He wanted Moses to write down - starting the O.T. There was more of a point to vs. 22 than just 'passing by', but I don't know what it was; somebody ..... ?

I wonder that so many are so hard hearted at the sufferings of the righteous, at the hands of wicked men! The world is full of these envious murderers without a conscience toward God or their own fellow-men; and yet most "so-called" Christians can only ask questions about Joseph's motives??? Ever since Cain and Abel, the children of the devil have persecuted the Saints, to hide their own sins.

I saw on the comments 'backlog' from 2013 a comment from a 12 yr. old girl, quote - "I understand this verse more clearly than adults and I'm 12." unquote. Then a 'dart' tossed at her from an (adult?) quote - " ... can you explain how you understand (this verse?). I am sure we can all learn ... from a 12 yr. old ...", unquote.
I thought of Matt. 12:14 and all the 'Pharisee' verses. cont.

Adam and the 'fruit' - Adam was around awhile before Eve; he 'n God talked, and you know God gave Adam His instructions on His will, i.e. - the man is the head of his house. Adam knew before eve appeared not to eat of the fruit of that tree. He possibly knew he'd be alone again if he didn't 'join' her in sin ..... ? And no, I'm not 'changing' scripture; just 'musing'.

Luke 11:29 Christ said no sign given to that particular evil generation. Reason being they wanted proof of the Messiah. What more proof is there than Christ Himself performing miracles and teaching? Their minds made up not to believe. If Christ couldn't convince them, a sign certainly wouldn't, as proven by the sign of Jonah. Israel on the map again is huge sign. Christ said, "watch!" Mark 13.

I was wondering if there is a way I can see the verse of the day from a previous day? I would like to see from Tuesday, January 31. Thanks I love having the verse of the day come to me.

Two things I see in this chapter: One; Dinah should not have gone out to see the daughters of the land; and Two; young men that fornicate with whomsoever they think they fall in love with, defile the girls, and themselves, and bring ruin upon the whole community. What business has the holy going out to "see" the women of the world? Prudence and discretion would have saved the whole place from sin.

V. 6 - " ..... of her that had been the wife of Uriah ..... "; Bathsheba is 'noted' here, but not by name possibly because she was with David BEFORE her husband died ..... ?

I have had a hard life and at times hated the Lord. Why hate my loving father for the sadness I've created? Through all the bad, he carried me. I need prayer in many ways and ask you all to pray this with me daily. I am fighting for custody of my 7 yr old son, and now because I'm marrying a man of color, my two scicilian girls father wants custody. I need to be a warrior but I'm messing up. Help

Again, God chooses the unqualified ones! a barren woman to bring forth a savior! What about the wits of Mr. Manoah? vs 22...he thinks he were to die because he had seen God!!!! I love the wits and audacity of Mrs.Manoah in vs 23. Women ooyee!!!! deliverance after 18 years of bondage, a man like Jephtha or Gideon could handle, but after 40 years!!! that required a man of special birth, a Nazirite!!

I do accept as true with all the concepts you have presented on your post. They're very convincing and can definitely work. Still, the posts are very brief for starters. Could you please extend them a bit from subsequent time? Thank you for the post.

Eze. 8:12 "..Son of man, hast thou seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers of his imagery?.." When we come before the Lord to hear His word, we have to know WHO it is, that we come before; and with Him who sees into our innermost selves, and shines light upon all our thoughts and intents; we must examine ourselves in truth to set in order before Him.

" ..... suffering is not joy ..... " Well, God's word says different, by none other authority than Paul. But then some discount Him because of what GOD gave him concerning women in Cor. Even men discount him because of this. Anyway, as to joy in suffering for Christ (after all, didn't He suffer for us?) Heb.12:2; Jas. 1:2; 2 Cor. 6:10; 2 Cor. 11:23-27, v. 30.

To Brianna - This is not a question for debate on my part; I am truly just curious - how do you apply the Bible to your life; what is it you do? And I will reciprocate in kind, if you wish; that's up to you.

To Sophia 4 mos. ago - Abel died before having children; Cain put himself out of the picture of God's people. Seth was the first one righteous before God that could be included. Adam 'n Eve? They had to be included because they were the beginning of mankind, even tho' they weren't righteous before God. The 'beginning' of something has to be known; just as we know God was the beginning.

Jewelene - THAT is a beautiful name. How long have you been in the med. profession - or am I mistaken? I'm just curious about this next question, but where did you get 'DNA' out of Gen. ch. 4 ..... ?
