  • Irene123 on Hebrews 11 - 9 years ago
To Jackie Phillips - You are the 1st person I've ever seen make an 'Olympic event' out of Bible scripture.
    How did you do that?
  • Bruce on Matthew 8 - 9 years ago
Tjohn: If it's best to seek forgiveness from those you have hurt the Lord will guide you! Faith cometh by hearing Rom 10:17, John 6:44 have you felt the tug in your heart? ROM 6:23, 10:13. Don't do anything without the LORD!
  • Irene123 on Genesis 9 - 9 years ago
To Netlace - You have done the same thing you have said I did. Nothing in Gen. says the 'wine' from the ark. It says nothing about 'wine' - fermented or not and nothing about grapes. How do you know there was wine on the ark? This is just an observation; no judging; please believe that.
  • Irene123 on 1 Timothy 6 - 9 years ago
To Michael Bucella on vs. 14,15,16,; :......have I been so long with you and ye say, 'shew us the Father'?
    That's in Matt. somewhere.
  • Irene123 on Acts 7 - 9 years ago
Michael C. touched on it lightly; has anyone REALLY noticed Stephen's speech? It was all by rote!! This man KNEW the O.T. scriptures!! How GLORIOUS! To love the Lord Jesus so much, that from his youth he learned them. And you know it was from his youth - Deut. 6:7; 2 Tim. 3:15 Little is said of Stephen, but - he was as great as Paul.
  • Irene123 on Acts 5 - 9 years ago
To Joseph on v.30 - as you see it; Heb. 11:1. Also, it says 'tree', so how do you know it wasn't a literal Olive or Fig tree, still growing in the ground? He was 'nailed' to something. but as I see it - that/s what saves us and is important: Acts 2:38 is our salvation: PETER said so (and so did Jesus in Matt. 28:19). The 'tree' is just something one uses as a distraction to those searching.
  • Hans on Matthew 5 - 9 years ago
Hello to all, My name is Hans from MA eastcoast. I became a born-again Baptiste KJV only since august 2015. a lot is happening. i am looking for a prayer warrior anyone interested? please let me know. Put on the subject: "prayer request" Thank you
  • Peter best on Psalms 1 - 9 years ago
I particularly like this verse "But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night." Isn't that great? I love the word "meditate" day and night because it is relaxing. I just looked in the dictionary.
Rest, Relaxing and Meditation are healthy mechanisms of improving the mind and or the neurons, as it is all the same thing, my current study. (maybe a pun?)
  • Hellfire street preacher - 9 years ago
What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith.
31 But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness.
    32 Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone;
  • Irene123 on Exodus 1 - 9 years ago
To Michael C. - where does the Bible say that God created everything through Christ Jesus? And Jesus was in glory with the father before the world was? I hope you see my request .....?
  • Irene123 on Genesis 9 - 9 years ago
To Charity eze - You need to KNOW - God is in CONTROL of everything - even our words. Noah was God's man - even though he turned to drunkenness after the flood; God still honored him. No one knows what Ham did, but- it was awful. God honored Noah's curse, and ONLY God had power to put it into effect. We have no power. Why Canaan? I have no answer for that. THAT - is God's business, not mine.
  • Dana Wells on Revelation 1 - 9 years ago
Where in Revelation does it mention war among races ie clans? As we are seeing that now in epic proportion the past 8 years. Thank you
  • Pastor Troy on John 21 - 9 years ago
Any idea why Peter was naked?
  • Kelly on Revelation 18 - 9 years ago
Friend, i think if you were to look at the scripture from a smaller perspective...Our Lord is only One man. His call is very personal. Perhaps it may help you to consider Our Lords message as one of Love...EVEN between a man and a woman? Jesus said he came to divide...to give the thief life...abundantly. Look into the REAL meaning of bread...relationships. First 10 proverbs are about adultery
  • Tkn95 on Matthew 28 - 9 years ago
Why did the disciples not do as Christ said in vs 19?
  • Colm on Revelation 18 - 9 years ago
Really, you deleted my comment talking about how the music industry uses satanic propaganda to mislead people? All I was doing was exposing darkness like the Bible tells us to
  • Colm on Revelation 18 - 9 years ago
In 18:23 thy merchants were the great men of the earth. Possibly talking about the people who control the banking system/the people who own Hollywood? For by thy sorceries were all nations deceived, maybe talking about the satanic music industry that all the nations view and are being deceived by hidden satanic propaganda
  • Derek on Micah 4 - 9 years ago
Verse 5 is an amazingly clear call for religious tolerance. How on earth did the Christians in the Middle Ages justify to themselves the ghastly acts committed as a part of the Inquisition, when they had a text like this sitting in their bibles?
  • Victor on Genesis 14 - 9 years ago
......but (!!!!) was Melchisedec...an appearance of Jesus taking place in the Old Testament???!!!
  • Karl on Colossians 2 - 9 years ago
to Felicia - you sure picked a good verse to ponder on. Just my interpretation - a sincere and humble trust in the teachings put forth by JESUS, and a rejection of any vain embellishments or interpretations put forth by those who would claim insights based in the vanities of false imaginations. You sure picked a good chapter - so much good advice for us all in this one. Hope that helps?
  • God's Girl on Genesis 1 - 9 years ago
Hey, Peter best, you are right about living in God's word as much as possible. It is what we are supposed to do. Also, I could not help but ask, what kind of stories do you like?
  • Felicia on Colossians 2 - 9 years ago
Verse 18 Can someone explain what this means? Please. Thank you.
  • Peter best on Genesis 1 - 9 years ago
I love your comments and usually I make a comment and then check all comments after previous comments are 3 pages or so back and it seems that there is a lot to this and a lot of questions etc. but don't ever stress over it as we can take all things by faith alone and still live in the image of God as much as possible and as much as we know according to Jesus and what He taught I think.?? ??
  • Michael on Malachi 2 - 9 years ago
"Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us? why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers?"

We are all part of the Body of Christ, no one more than the other, all are one. One Father, One God, the LORD of LORD and KING of KING's Jesus Christ.
  • Karl on Genesis 24 - 9 years ago
Does anybody really read scripture anymore? In Exodus 24:10, Moses and 70 elders "saw" GOD, where did the same experience of the prophets come from - was their "vision" corrupted by their own perspectives or intentionally enhanced to suit their audience? Does anyone read past the words on the page anymore - or just reflexively quote verse without seeking the deeper meaning? Can you see beyond?
  • Marion on Exodus 20 - 9 years ago
I don't understand. How is it that everyone agrees that we should keep all the Commandments
and yet, make excuses, in my opinion, about the 7th day? "Remember the 7th day to keep it holy." On my calendar the 7th day is Saturday. Please explain how this one commandment is
broken? When were the generations given permission, by our Father in heaven, to change this
    commandment? Please help!
  • Athenkosi saint on Genesis 1 - 9 years ago
verse1,In the beggining God created heaven and earth.now, when God creates any thing under HIS fermament HE creates it perfectly.Verse 2,The earth was without form and void. The question is,What made the earth formless?and when did the old snake lusifa thrown down on earth?Betwen Verse1and2 it is were the Angel of war that was being asigned by God to wrestles with lusifa.we call that lusifiric era.
  • Irene123 on Proverbs 1 - 9 years ago
To Frances on Pro. ch.1 - I hope you read Acts ch. 2 also ) Acts 2:37-38 - :men and brethren, what shall we do? .....................)
  • Word on Revelation 9 - 9 years ago
The scriptures tell the day of the Lord is coming and that the locust are swarming just before and I think that swarming from Egypt to Syria to Iran is happening and 2 Theesalonins 2 tells us exactly what will happen and that day will not happen until Satan, the son of perdition stands in Jerusalem claiming he is God I bet he even preaches he will fly you Away. Rome and man made ideas of whatever?
  • Ulu on John 4 - 9 years ago
Why do people assume the Samaritan woman was 5 times divorced? Maybe all her husbands died and they were all brothers, unable to give her children. Maybe the man she is in love with now is not allowed to marry her because of cultural differences. Jesus accepts her just as she is and she becomes a great evangelist.
