Isnt CH 4 talking about the holy ghost? This is our rest in him. We do not worship on Saturday. Throughout the bible it explains things. Jesus is our rest if we have his spirit dwelling in us. We worship him every day.

God created all with Freewill and people do what they want with it. Good or evil it's up to men. Do good and what is recorded in the book will save you or do bad and what is in the book will condem you. Judge yourself?

To Mr. Watanabe on v. 23 - It's well known by ALL drs. that unfermented grape juice is very good for upset stomach. They also know that MANY people are ALLERGIC to fermented and or alcoholic dinks, and can be 'addicted' to such - WITH THE VERY FIRST DRINK. Don't you think our Lord knows this even better than we do?!

My thoughts is that if God knew from the beginning that man will disobey, why God still continued the human creation? Why not just the animals alone ?

Do you have your ticket to enter Eternal life?
  • Encho on Genesis 1 - 9 years ago
Genesis 1:26, And GOD said "le us make man in our image, after our likeness.
My problem is with the word "us" and "our". My question is, does these two words imply that God was not creating the world alone? That means there were others with him? If yes who were those with him?
  • Brenda on Exodus 37 - 9 years ago
...so where is the Ark now? If it was covered with pure gold, shouldn't it still be around?
  • Hannah on Psalms 116 - 9 years ago
I called upon the name of the Lord and he saved me. He has saved my life, here on Earth, and in Heaven. How can I repay Him? To praise His name to all witnesses. Beautiful. My favorite Psalm.

Does this mean that Samuel got up from his death bed and went to see Saul? No. We just read of this here. Samuel raised from the dead, visited Saul on the day of Saul's death.
There are many more parallels in this story that tie in to other scripture that give the true meaning behind this story also.
Why did God chose Saul to be king when he would have known how this would turn out him?
  • Jon on Genesis 1 - 9 years ago
What happen to the man and woman God created in Genesis 1:27?

Why does everyone think that it is ok to ignore the Sabbath Day, but keep the other commandments?
If the Sabbath Day was nailed to the cross; then why not murder, theft, adultery, etc...?
If the Lord said: "Remember the Sabbath, to keep it holy." There must be something to this.
I read that Sunday, is a pagan day set aside for the sun god. (sun day)

Mark V, .... I actually read each and every word/name. The sentiments of my flesh exacting yours. However, my spirit ate it up! Will my flesh recite back all those names? No. When I got to Noah I realized this chapter was somewhat of a fast forward sum up. But my soul and spirit rejoiced when I realized the "bloodline" of Jesus had been revealed. Just know that God makes no mistakes.
  • Funke Ogunsola on Psalms 20 - 9 years ago
The time of trouble is near! Jesus cometh very soon. Then there will be no more grace, no mercy and no favor. There will be no more defense. Whoever does not repent NOW and turn a new life will be caught in the terrible web. What does it profit a man who gains the whole world and loses his soul?
  • Lance Brown on Psalms 1 - 9 years ago
the Word doesnt tell us what to do. It only tells us we will prosper and be blessed. God leaves what we do as our choice. Because God prospers us we take that as a sign we are doing right, when we are not. 'Lord did we not prophesy in your name ? And do many miracles ? 'Get away from me I never knew you !'. God inhabits His Praise: we praise God
  • Eric on Ezekiel 12 - 9 years ago
Am I a God at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God afar off? Alas for the day! for the day of the LORD is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come. Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.

  • Mark verrell on 1 Chronicles 1 - 9 years ago
it is too intense, from the very 1st verse, one needs to be well learned to get the depth of these two BOOKS, (the meaning of every name) who actually reads these books? I am pondering why did GOD put these two books in the BIBLE, I don't want to question GOD because GOD is who HE is GOD the Almighty ALL KNOWING AND ALL WISE so HIS REASONS DO NOT HAVE TO BE KNOWN ALL THE TIME.
  • J on Proverbs 15 - 9 years ago
God gave us three of the most powerful things in existence, the power of prayer, His Word, and the forgiveness of sins thru His Sons flesh, the creation of God. In Genesis 1, Our Creator lets men know the seeds that fall upon the dry land is for meat to keep seed alive upon the face of the earth. In John 6, His Son Jesus claims to a massive following that in the end days they will have to eat His flesh for eternal life, that His flesh is meat indeed. They leave, Jesus asks his disciples, are you going to leave too?
  • Paul on Acts 13 - 9 years ago
How Many of us have witnessed for Christ under the possibility of our lives been taken in the act? I don't think very many- certainly not me. But if there was a possibility of that happening, like there was for Paul, honestly, how many of us would speak? And since there currently isn't, why arent we multiplying our efforts?
  • Eric on Psalms 3 - 9 years ago
Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? And they fell upon their faces, and said, O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and wilt thou be wroth with all the congregation? O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come. My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever. And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh. Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me? Be silent, O all flesh, before the LORD: for he is raised up out of his holy habitation. These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me for they are thine. While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition that the scripture might be fulfilled. And all flesh shall see the salvation of God. And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.

Genesis says God made a firmament to divide the waters under the firmament from the waters above the firmament and God called the firmament Heaven. Am I misunderstanding or should there be water above the sky? Photographs of the Earth don't show water above the sky.
