  • Norm on 2 Corinthians 2 - 9 years ago
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
  • Greg on Matthew 25 - 9 years ago
It seems this chapter is being ignored in the US, so many people refusing to take in the refugees of Syria, or those that cross the border seeking a better or just plain safer life. Instead of welcoming the strangers, feeding and clothing them, many so-called Christians demonize them, hate rather than love. What happened to "Live thine enemy?"
  • Norm on Micah 7 - 9 years ago
And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here! And Jesus said unto them, Seest thou these great buildings? For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ and shall deceive many. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. Take heed that no man deceive you. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. See ye not all these things? Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there believe it not.

I'm VERY Unsettled. I've always wanted but could never grasp the spirit, even though I wanted and tried to, I just couldn't understand it. I'm 27 and i'm barely understanding because I'm searching for something that has to be there to guide me through a place i know, NOW, that I've been lost in all along. What else can I do To feel all of the love of the father? For I have promised my all to HIM!

This wonderful verse brightened my day. When someone repays back your kindness with wickedness. What can we do? With this verse we can be comforted because when we stay true to God we reap the peace. Sometimes people don't know that they are acting uncivilised.

  • David Holloway on Psalms 103 - 9 years ago
Have you seen the Cross in Psalm 103? Read verses 11 and 12. As high as the heavens are above the earth... so great is His mercy... (That's the up and down spar.) As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our sin. (That's the side to side spar.) The finished work of the cross was a hidden mystery in the OT. Today - in this age of Grace - it's an open secret we need to share.
  • Bruce Malouf on Genesis 41 - 9 years ago
Is this the first documented evidence of any human being having a dream or night mare?
Can this dream remanifest itself millennia into the future?
If the numbering of Chapter 41 is NOT a pure accident, then is there any possibility of determining when the dream may reoccur? Does the total number of 14 years give an indication? For example 41 - 14 = 27 (3 x 3 x 3) or perhaps the THIRD millennium?

  • Pater on Genesis 1 - 9 years ago
There have been comments on the image of God and man? What was the image of God when He created Adam? What was the image of man when he was created? What is the Christian image of man today? What should be the Christian image of God today? That is what we should aim for as much as possible; and we should realize that there is a big difference in an image and a picture. An image involves all aspec

Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? And they fell upon their faces, and said, O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and wilt thou be wroth with all the congregation? O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come. My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever. And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh. Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me? Be silent, O all flesh, before the LORD: for he is raised up out of his holy habitation. These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me for they are thine. While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition that the scripture might be fulfilled. And all flesh shall see the salvation of God. And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

The teachings of the churches continue to be confusing and unconvincing the more it is read through. I constantly ask myself how Jesus can be God the Creator of everything!! How can God die? How could God have died for our sins
  • Sandra Sweeney on Genesis 1 - 9 years ago
God is three persons in one - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Clearly, the first two are male. I don't recall the Holy Spirit as being given a gender identification. And in Genesis 1:26, 27 KJV, God speaks of making man "after OUR likeness...in his own image...male and female created he them." Could the Holy Spirit be a more feminine divine nature of the triune God? (Not activist)

"Jesus wept." John 11:35 "But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ." 1 Corinthians 8:12 "Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees." Isaiah 35:3 "Wherefore, if meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no flesh while the world standeth, lest I make my brother to offend." 1 Corinthians 8:13 "Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert." Isaiah 35:6 "For what is it wherein ye were inferior to other churches, except it be that I myself was not burdensome to you? forgive me this wrong." 2 Corinthians 12:13 "Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence he will come and save you." Isaiah 35:4 "Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God." Romans 8:12-14

In Verse 26, god says let us create man in our image. Using the words "us and our" would indicate more than 1 person. So is there a duality in this God?

Is it possible that the garden is here and our imperfections having learned we were naked has made us blind to God's perfection?
St. Luke 4:30 But he passing through the midst of them went his way,) this is only one example of our inability to see the truth right before our very eyes. Miracles do happen every day St. Matt 11:14 And if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come.

I have a few medical problems probably due to my diet; but recently i wonder what would i be eating if I were in the Garden of Eden today for breakfast? Incidentally, i think that the tree of evil still do exist. The answer to that question said that it probably doesn't. I have just completed a book which I think relates to that question.
