God specifically said there is no savior... How are you all still getting "Jesus" out of this?
  • Silvia on 1 Timothy 1 - 9 years ago
There is no doubt that the womens role as a Christian is different to the mens. There are many references to confirm this in the Bible. Surely Eve was made different to Adam for a reason surely if the roles where the same we would look and be the same? Why is this so diffucult to understand for some women?
  • Sabbath keeper and Wife on Revelation 15 - 9 years ago
Can you imagine the awesome majesty of a sight like that? Angels, clothed in righteousness coming out of where the Arc and the commandments under the throne of God are kept. They are about to "be about their Father's business" in a bad sort of way. Testimony has to do with Spirit of Prophecy ( Rev. 19:10) so plagues are for those decieved by beast system, not keeping God's commands (Rev12:17)

Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? And they fell upon their faces, and said, O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and wilt thou be wroth with all the congregation? O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come. My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever. And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh. Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me? Be silent, O all flesh, before the LORD: for he is raised up out of his holy habitation. These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me for they are thine. While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition that the scripture might be fulfilled. And all flesh shall see the salvation of God. And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.
  • Angela on Deuteronomy 12 - 9 years ago
Dr. Ford what exactly do you perceive to be the Will of Yahweh?!?
I truly want to understand this scripture. I would sincerely appreciate dialogue! My questions are pubs the idolatry worship, worshipping the way they did their gods, and eating anything is permissible. I need to understand this please and thank you.
  • Michael C. on Psalms 30 - 9 years ago
It is a most critical and dangerous time, if one finds himself often stumbling and sinning, and always crying for forgiveness, and to be ever once and for all delivered from that weakness of character. Jesus said, If any one come to me, I will in no wise cast him out; but how long can someone go on in that condition, and not question his conversion? Neither do I condemn you; go, and sin no more.
  • Sam on 1 John 5 - 9 years ago
Why do you use a question mark at the end of the verse?

I think this particular passage serves as a great reminder for us all, we must be also mindful of the saving power of kindness. I acknowledge that Jesus is the only way that mankind can obtain eternal life, but there are moments in times when the Father will remember our sacrifices or ministries of help to bless our love ones. The power of kindness. How would Rehab be viewed in a church of today?
  • Michael C. on Lamentations 1 - 9 years ago
This cup of wrath and desolation and sorrow, shall all nations drink. For if "I AM" has done so to His own people, who are called by His Name, because of their hatred and hostility, for their continually provoking Him with their sins and idols and incurable lawlessness; who are the nations of the world, that they think it shall not come to them? Still they say, Who is the LORD, that I should obey?

    Are minister's called angels?
  • Patti on Psalms 127 - 9 years ago

  • Michael C. on Luke 4 - 9 years ago
We don't listen to, or answer the devil's talk, about his power; he is a liar from the beginning, and the father of lies. His name literally means, Slanderer." Read the divine account in Genesis 3, and we see nothing said to the serpent about power and glory being given him! Where then did he get that perverted idea? He made it up, just like everything he thinks and says; all perversion and lies!
  • Walter la Rue on Luke 5 - 9 years ago
verse 5:27...Jesus says "follow me".. to
receive the Holy Ghost and do what he said to do, act the way he said to act in the gospel. submit your heart to Him and have the courage to say? thy will be done..our strength is the Holy Ghost and are true, sincere love for him...
  • Galatians 2:20 on Malachi 3 - 9 years ago
What carnal logic human can conclude determinately and cast hypocritical judgement on another?... tithe what you will to this world but it will not buy the next...amen
  • Michael C. on 1 Corinthians 3 - 9 years ago
"I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able, neither yet now are ye able." This is NOT what we are called in Christ to be; i.e. carnally minded, and never really able to eat the solid food of the deep things of God, so we can grow. A normal child looks up to grown-ups, and thinks about itself being grown up. So why would Christians want to stay toddlers in diapers?
  • Peter on Genesis 1 - 9 years ago
Would God really exile his people because they ate from a tree? What can I say? My research is that it was not an apple tree; and there was a reason that Adam and Eve clothed theirselves after; for then there was an image of less pure, I can say, and that was the beginning of man thinking for himself. There was a reason why there was also a tree of life; and via of that tree, we etc....
  • Matthew H on Colossians 1 - 9 years ago
I'd not recalled this verse when a long ago friend who'd told lies back-stabbed me contacted me after 20 years to say he's a different person now- and a born again Christian- and asked me to forgive him. As I have the ultimate example from 2,000 years ago, I did. My best friend said I'd let him off too easy... but with Christ as example, the Lamb Of God, how could I NOT forgive completely? I'm glad I did, as this friend again was honest about accepting Christ into his life, and I would've been dishonest in my faith not to forgive! A most wonderful verse indeed!
  • Candace Kim on Genesis 1 - 9 years ago
Peter, We need to ask ourselves what does it mean to be created in Gods image? It says that male and female were created in Gods image. If God is speaking Literally then is God male or female? • Peter on Genesis 1 - 9 years ago
Hi, and i hope that all is well. Genesis tells it as it is and or was but do we want it? That is the question. Is it coming? We are created in his image but have falling a long way. I wonder about the fall of man and that tree of forbidden fruit.

Who else needs the best cars luxury and private jet? The children of Abraham its God's word. Abraham was wealthy and so are his seed. Don't condemn Pastors who are rich pray for them. Some of them started real but lost it in the battle. Some of them started as fake and refused to repent leave them for God's judgement. If you are sure a Pastor is fake get our of his church.
  • Jane on Malachi 3 - 9 years ago
If you do not tithe you are disobeying God. If you are a real child of God with his Holy Spirit in you not tithing will make you live in fear and guilt. You will have no peace cos you are living in disobedience. Do I have a witness? If you agree with me you have the Spirit of God, please repent and trust him he won't fail. I have been there and hey teach your children tithing
  • Susanne Chew on John 1 - 9 years ago
I am wondering why you don't capitalize the personal pronouns that refer to God in this text. Is there a reason for it? Thanks.
  • Cheryl on Daniel 3 - 9 years ago
I am also like Bud - Why is Daniel Chapter 3 being advertised as a cure all for diabetes and other ailments?
  • Michael C. on Genesis 5 - 9 years ago
The Book of Enoch? Moses made no mention of it, when "I AM" gave him to write the Book of the Beginnings, and the Law. Jude apparently quoted a passage from that book, about the Day of the LORD; but the rest doesn't feel like scripture at all! Was it a single Spirit-inspired word originally, then afterward added to an otherwise human spirit-inspired book? Was any of it actually around before then.
  • Sylvia on Romans 16 - 9 years ago
This is a response to Jackie Thomas regarding verse 15 who are the saints? Paul was speaking of the christians in the church. When we truly accept Jesus as our LORD and Saviour we are Saints set apart from this world.
  • Aim on 1 Timothy 1 - 9 years ago
God using a woman does not mean she usurps authority over a man. God does have an order and provides a covering for the woman. Deborah was judge over the "sons of Israel." Does not a judge have authority? Does not a judge have authority to render sentencing and did not those who hear go into battle at the word given through Deborah by God? Don't presume to counsel God.
  • Sabbath keeper and Wife on Revelation 18 - 9 years ago
She has her hands deep in capitalism. Notice that EVERYTHING in list are things desired, but not needed. We are talking about the most wealthy organization on the face of the earth. Notice that the last on the list, the souls of men. She used to control world with fear. Now it's money and products, food, fresh drinking water . How much do we spend on STUFF the TV makes you THINK you need? Think!
  • Ian Lockhart on Ezekiel 17 - 9 years ago
The tree -- the king. The twigs would be his offshoots, his children.--- A tender one, a young girl, a princess. Did not Jerimiah escape with and protect the kings daughters after the kings sons were slain. Did the Hebrew king not die in captivity. Was not the princess taken and planted in new good land where she took root and bore much fruit thus continuing the Davidic line?
  • John on 1 Peter 3 - 9 years ago
Joni I don't believe the apostles wore jewelry. neither the righteous martyrs . The scripture plainly says to not wear jewelry or costly clothing meaning physically . Not adorn ourselves with it. Instead inwardly with a humble and meek heart. We have 0 rights to add or subtract from the scriptures. How can you say adorning can be used as a secondary ? Read what Paul wore and what he taught. Too many lies even if it's only one ..
