I love Romans chapter 7,8,6,5When I read those chapters my soul rejoices inGod my Savior because they are life and light to my soul. It's a gift and I accept the free freedom. When I read the Bible, I real commun icate with God.Isn't it wonderful? Jesus Christ is full God and Man do you know that? If you do, you're blessed if not please ask God to give you understanding. I love you Jesus Christ.

Isaiah 66:23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD. Wisdom of Solomon 11:25 And how could any thing have endured, if it had not been thy will? or been preserved, if not called by thee? 26 But thou sparest all: for they are thine, O Lord, thou lover of souls.

responds to Sally; the rider of the white horse - the antichrist, but why given a crown? I never thought about it that way, and the second, third and fourth, also manifestations of the antichrist? Four antichrists? The scripture simply describes them as horsemen, is there a clue in that then, FOUR riders? Ufff! but you've given more to decipher! Should this path be followed? Perhaps Matthew 24?
  • Karl on Revelation 1 - 10 years ago
open question; anybody else scratch their head after reading this book? The initial message to the churches timeless and easily applicable. The celestial/terrestrial events are plain enough, the visionary portion is understandable, and even the final combination of both is somewhat discernable. My problem is arises when I try to reconcile all three into one cohesive prophecy. Any insights?

"Kenneth Burgess" about 1 Samuel Chapter 3...
"Did Ezekiel physically see GOD?" Though 1 Samuel 3 is not speaking about Ezekiel-- but Samuel-- neither of them physically saw God. The word of the LORD came (spoke) to Ezekiel. He looked and he saw a vision as the LORD's hand was upon him. Ezekiel 1:3 They both are excellent examples as to how the Lord speaks to us, beside through scriptures.

You mean like putting closed circuit tv on the clubhouse the fools who 'preach' preside over and call a 'church,' protecting the treasures of audio visual and musical equipment laid up on earth like Solomon's their idea of the Greatest King Ever were, while those who are of the family and adoption of the most high sleep outside, no matter the conditions or consequences of treating 'family' so shabbily, and that in the midst of a 'great recession?' No wonder the clubhouses are getting tagged with '666.' Solomon taxed six hundred threescore and six talents of gold by the year getting his inheritance his father David gave to the temple project back.
  • Marcelo on Matthew 24 - 10 years ago
4-28 It is reasonable why Jesus did not gave them the answer, when the disciples asked him "Tell us, when this things shall be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming..." It was not necessary to make know them the length of time and the signs because his coming is not "by and by", so the purpose to make know them all that things that have to happen and it still going on in this presents days.
  • Karl on Ezekiel 1 - 10 years ago
responds to Kenneth; GOOD QUESTION! What did Ezekiel see? The LORD of Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Samuel, and Elijah (1Kings19) does not seem to be the God of Ezekiel. Perhaps the question we should be asking is not so much WHAT did he see, but WHY did he see it? My interpretation is that this manifestation was meant for a people familiar with Babylonian imagery. Does the LORD need a spaceship?

John 3:27 John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven. John 5:47 But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words? 2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

What is so hard to understand Chris? It as plain as the nose on ur face. Go read an easier version.
  • Karl on Isaiah 1 - 10 years ago
responds to ms. Dusty; do you think perhaps the message/lesson(s) we are meant to learn from the prophetic books are just as valid in the 21st century - repent while you still can, trust in the LORD for your salvation? That same message for "stubborn rebellious children" still resonates true? How's that sound to you?
  • Karl on Acts 10 - 10 years ago
responds to Norm; I thought I was clear, no need to hammer me with scripture. Paul was not one of the original apostles, only a student of. His epistles are a treasury of scripture, not disputing their merits. My problem was with in Book of acts, and Peter's words in particular, having received the gift of the Holy spirit, does it not read as if he was elevating himself and reducing the LORD?
  • Sydney Heimericks on Luke 7 - 10 years ago
what do i think of Luke ..... ? what i think is - it's not what i think of Luke; because 'Luke' is part of God's word - it's what Luke (God) thinks of me. I didn't 'choose' God; He chose me.

I cannot tell you what i think of 'Luke' because to God - it does not matter.
  • Ms. Dusty Garrett on Isaiah 1 - 10 years ago
    1. What do we learn about the people of Judah by God's comparison of them to rebellious children.

    2. What might be some reasons a person would ignore God's chastening hand?

    3. What are three words would you use to describe Judah's worship of God?

    4. Why are the words "before mine eyes" so important in God's instruction to Judah?

Would love to know these answers! Thanks and God Bless!
  • Jeremy on Psalms 127 - 10 years ago
Why does Matthew Henry directly say the opposite of Psalms 146:3 in his commentary? The bible verse says to "put not our trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help." The verse if talking about the common man would have simply used the word "men", but it clearly is using words to describe men that are not common such as "princes" and "thee son of man"
  • Karl on Acts 10 - 10 years ago
    open question; I'm looking for an answer to this contradiction;
John 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
is Peter reducing the LORD Jesus to mere man, equal to himself?

Life is short. Of course, this is a common truth, but do we often remember about it? How can we feel the value of life staying at home? They say if you don't like the place where you are - move, you're not a tree after all. By the same principle, I want to say that traveling - is an important component of fulfilling life. Let's not waste life without avail but explore this wonderful planet! It rem

responds to Linette; my interpretation of "strange woman" would simply mean a woman who stands "outside" of the LORD's grace and commandments, specifically to a licentious or adulterous one. I take the chapter to mean that the wisdom given in scripture is meant to guide you away from such people - men and/or women - and guide you to the LORD, how's that sound to you?
  • Michaeltug on Psalms 34 - 10 years ago
Life is not everlasting. Of course, this is a common truth, but do we always remember about it? How can we understand the value of life staying at the same place? They say if you don't like the place where you are - move, you're not a tree after all. By the same tenet, I want to say that traveling - is an important component of fulfilling life. Let's not waste life in vain but explore this wonderf

Nothing surprises our Maker. He is the unseen one marking our ways to save us...why don't we just believe and obey?
  • Annie - 10 years ago
Everything in this world that my heart desire I possess for I have Jesus and a King James Bible. If my bible was taken away it would be ok, for his word is written on my heart. What is amusing is that noone can take worship or Jesus from a man. So the question is Satan what are you going to do? The answer is NOTHING.
  • Norm on Revelation 19 - 10 years ago
Hebrews 12:15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled; James 3:11 Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter? 15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. 16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
  • Michaeltug on John 7 - 10 years ago
Life is short. Of course, this is a not a secret, but do we often remember about it? How can we understand the essence of life staying motionless? They say if you don't like the place where you are - move, you're not a tree after all. By the same tenet, I want to say that traveling - is an important component of interesting life. Let's not waste life without avail but explore this wonderful world

God is not speaking to the ignorant. He speaks to Israel His chosen peaple. God Himself is persuading you not to be rebellious. He is reminding you and showing you what He has done for you.So that you will see that your way leads to destruction. Do you not know that we eat the bread that was ment for Isreal ?And by His mercies ,we are called to be Holy.
  • Mike D on Psalms 119:125 - 10 years ago
When I read this verse, my mind went directly to Romans 6:16, Know ye not, that whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey whether sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? David burned the bridges behind him, and he willing became a servant of God. As a servant, David is simply asking for clarity in his marching orders. He wants to know God's testimonies so that his obedience would be more perfected.
