Why do many Preachers today (2.17.2023) claim that God walked the earth as Jesus?

They seem to claim that Jesus was God .
  • One eighty - 1 year ago
    Hi GiGi, again,

In regards to your third paragraph; I've never said or inferred something exists outside of God such as the knowledge of the universe or history. I'm completely befuddled how you could infer this, when I've made it perfectly clear that nothing except God exists. These things can't exist outside His essence simply because they do not exist at all. What God did not create can only be in our own mind apart from His. They are not reality. Only what God creates is. His essence denies His ability to know of anything that is not reality (exists). He does not believe in illusions (dreams). Knows nothing of them. Only reality.

"Sometimes we say things that seem reasonable but they may be subtly off the mark of what is true". Sound familiar? Surely you must also apply your own suggestion to yourself. Yet, there is nothing subtle about implying God can be divided by opposing Himself. And by attributing to Him qualities from the dark.

When light enters darkness the darkness is abolished. Light abolishes darkness by showing us the darkness and everything with it is NOT there (does not exist, not real). Love is incapable of any exceptions. Only if there is fear (darkness) does the idea of exceptions SEEM to be meaningful. Exceptions are fearful because they are made by fear.

I'll say it again - God is Knowledge; but knowing only what exists in reality, not fantasy land.

And again: Anything that comes from God must be exactly like Him. God could not create anything that is not perfect, or else He wouldn't be perfect. The logic of that is flawless. If God is perfect and eternal, then by definition, anything He creates would also have to be perfect and eternal. Nothing subtle about this.

    Peace,

    GOD IS

    pg. 2

Yet it appears as if you've given every attribute there is to God; His and ours which oppose His. That leaves nothing left for satan. Where does he play apart in this. If you say he doesn't, I would agree, because as I've already pointed out, nothing except God can exist, including the "devil".

Guess who's dreaming and having nightmares? God's children, including myself. Wake up oh sleepers, rise from the "dead" and Christ will shine on us.

I don't have any more time at present. I was very happy and thankful to hear your recent physical challenges have gone well. I'm confident we both agree that without your faith and love for God, this would have been a much, much more worrisome time for

    you. You are blessed.

    Continued blessings,

    GOD IS

    Hi GiGi,

    pg. 1

This may sound like a competition thing, but please don' take it that way, but I believe I perceive God as simpler than you do. Neither, as you, do I believe God is a "composite of many things indicating that He has many parts that together make up the whole of him," unlike us. Yet, if I've correctly understood you over the months, you attribute God's qualities not only to love but also fear, like most on this site. You should know by now I believe God is only Love. How simple is that? No conflict, no doubts, no wavering, no nothing like shifting shadows, no opposition in my mind regarding Who God Is. You believe in love and fear, holiness and sin, spirit and flesh, heaven and hell, life and death, innocence and guilt, worthiness and condemnation along with punishment, condemnation, wrath, vengeance and damnation. Peace and war, and so on. You and others have made this very clear that this is your God. Therefore you DO believe God is ACTUALLY a composite of MANY things indicating that He has many parts that together make up the whole of Him. And just LIKE us. Not very simple.

My simple belief: God is One. God is only Love, and everything in and One with this Love is holiness, Spirit, heaven, life, innocence, worthiness, peace, etc. These are not many things or parts separate from God. They are God, i.e. the Mind of God.

I'll repeat what I've stated in past postings. What except God can exist? Nothing beyond Him can happen, because nothing except Him is real. What God did not create does not exist, and everything that does exist exists as He created it. The world we see has nothing to do with reality. It is of our own making and it does not exist. What God creates has no alternative, the truth arises from what He knows, not what we mistakenly perceive and see with the bodies eyes.

You said, "We can describe God by His known attributes and by attributes that He doesn't possess." I agree.

Hello and thank you for your assistance today regarding Rev. 19:10.

My question is who is the person who fell at Jesus' feet.

Its confusing to me because if its John why would Jesus tell him not to worship him and that he was of his brethren.

Was it the Spirit that was showing John what John needed to know?

Were Cain and Abel twins? I know what Genesis 4:1-2 KJV says but Genesis 4:2 KJV seems to leave room for the possibility that Abel was born with in minutes of Cain, or even at a later time depending on interpurtation of verse.
  • Star on Acts 17 - 1 year ago
In Acts 10, read what the Lord told Peter when he was on the rooftop in a vision. It was not about water baptism. And we know it was not about food.

Acts 10:17, " Now while peter doubted in himself what this vision which he had seen should mean, behold, the men which were sent from Cornelius had made enquiry for Simon's house, and stood before the gate",

V18, " And called, and asked whether Simon, which was surnamed Peter, were lodged there."

V19, "While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold, three men seek thee".

V20, "Arise therefore, and get thee down, and go with them, doubting nothing:for I have sent them".

V21, "Then Peter went down to the men which were sent unto him from Cornelius; and said, Behold, I am he whom ye seek: what is the cause wherefore ya are come?"

V22, " And they said, Cornelius the centurion, and one that feareth God, and of good report among all the nation of the Jews, was warned from God by an holy angel to send for thee into his house, and to hear the words of thee."

I do not see anywhere in the bible where the Lord was upset at Peter speaking or preaching water baptism.

    Show me.

Also, the Lord gave Peter the keys to the kingdom in Matthew 16:19,

"And I will give unto thee the keys to the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven". Peter preached Acts 2:38 & he was not in error doing so.
  • Dana stephens on Hebrews 4 - 1 year ago
Why would the commendatore say that Hebrews four is talking about Joshua? There is no way it is talking about Joshua. The whole book is clearly written about the trinity and faith. Why in the middle of a sentence would the writer all of a sudden switch the name of Jesus from Jesus to be someone other than Jesus?

I believe that by saying that it is Joshua and not Jesus, you mislead people from the rest in the Lord and the day! Which it clearer states was never changed from the Sabbath of the Lord our God the creator of the world. (The Catholic church changed the Sabbath to Sunday. They say that is the mark of their ecclesiastical authority. During the reformation the Pope told Martin Luther to follow the Bible and its authority. Although he did not, sadly.)

So, if the Jesus being used in the 'Greek' in Hebrews is Joshua then wouldn't it stand to reason that all the Jesus references would be as well?

Was the man of God killed by the lion Josiah? If so, why did king Jeroboam trick (lie) him into coming to his house to eat bread and drink water? Did it have something to do with the king's sinful alter practices? I feel the man killed by the lion made it to heaven.

I started going to a small independent Baptist church, the preacher talks about how the church is tight for money and the church building rent is a lot, there's no information given out in detail about the church finances, he pushed everyone about tithing, and mis quotes Malachi about robbing God, I read somewhere in Bible not to be apart of false preacher, this is a small church around 50 members, should we find a church that teaches new testament about giving?
  • Dan Tupper on James 1 - 1 year ago
God is love. Let's love God together.

God wants all likeminded churches to come together for time is running out on us. How can we help accomplish this task? Following Gods will in my life, can I get a witness?

What clothes does the Bible say should women wear
  • Fredscanlan - 1 year ago
Are you in balance? Being in balance requires the understanding and the signigance of the law. Paul says the law is a schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ. A balancing of the human nature, and the redemption that we have through faith in the death and resurection of Christ!

This is, perhaps why God chose Paul, He had a tremendous understanding of the law, but saw only one side of it while He torchered and killed believeing children of God!

It would be His sight restored, seeing Jesus in His true Light , that He would be stood up, and begin His ministry!

Satan has been thwarted {thrown off Balance} in His desire to decieve man.

While alive in this body, we may or may not be subject unto the laws of God. It is a freedom that we have. If we are not subjected unto the law, then Christ could not serve us, for we would have no need for His redemption! If we are subject unto the law, our new balance will be found in the death and ressurection of Christ. No longer subjected unto the law, but clothed in the righteousness of Christ!

This was Gods plan from the beginning! This inherited righteousness will keep Satan and all His works off balance. While we live and move in this body, covered in the blessedness of the savior, satan will never predict our next move!

Satan's last chance , trying once again until before His final demise into hell for eternity!

Part.2) v.30 tells us Jesus (appears), that verse also tells us He appears with power and great (glory). (31. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. ((When Jesus returns riding a white horse nobody is gathered together because we are already there with Him, we return with Him)), see (Rev.19:11-16) In Col.3:4 Tell us "When Christ, who is our life, SHALL APPEAR, then shall ye also appear with him (in glory). Mt.24.30 He comes with power and great (glory). 1.Pet.5:4 And when the chief Shepperd (shall appear), ye shall receive a crown (of glory) that fadeth not away. (The chief Shepperd is Jesus) 1.Jn.3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, WHEN HE SHALL APPEAR, (we shall be like him); for we shall see him as he is. Phil.3:20-21 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for our Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: (21. Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned unto his (glorious body), according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself. When Christ appears, we appear with Him in glory, we are given a crown of glory, our body is fashioned like unto His glorious body.. (We change from flesh bodies to spiritual bodies, in the twinkling of an eye) In 1 Cor.15:50 we are told ' Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God,.. ( We are tested before the return of Christ in the clouds, He returns in the clouds (Immediately AFTER the tribulation) so our test will be DURING TRIBULATION! The word tribulation is #2347; it means pressure, afflicted (-tion), anguish, burdened, persecution, tribulation, trouble, suffer tribulation. Do the words that define the word tribulation not sound like a testing? That fiery trial that is to try us will be going through great tribulation to test our faith!
  • Jimbob - 1 year ago
Part.1) 1 Pet.1:7 That the (trial) of your faith being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be (tried) with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ. The word (trial) is #1383; it means a testing, trustworthiness, trying, test, proof. The word (tried) is #1381; it means to test, by implying to approve, discern, examine, try. This verse is clear when taken in context that our faith will be tested, when will it be tested? This verse says that it might be found unto praise and honour and glory (AT THE APPEARING OF JESUS CHRIST) So our faith will be tested just before the Lord Jesus Christ appears! 1 Pet.4:12-13 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the (fiery) trail which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: (13. But rejoice as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be gad also with exceeding joy. The word (fiery) is #4451; it means calamity as a test. This verse says the fiery trial that is to try us will be a calamity as a test! Ps.11:4-5 The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORDS throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids (try) the children of men. (5. The LORD (trieth) the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth. The words (try) and (trieth) have the same meaning, #974; they mean to test, to investigate, examine, prove, try, trial. We are clearly tried, or tested before the appearing of Jesus Christ. When does Jesus Christ appear? Mt.24:29-31 Immediately (AFTER the tribulation) of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken, (30. And then ((shall appear)) the sign of the So of man in heaven; and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. (Here He appears)

I have not been much of a servant for Jesus. In my heart, I've always known he is real, but death and judgement seemed far away, and in my mind, I didn't believe 100% anyway, so its been easy just to forget about Him and do what I want. I didn't commit any terrible crimes according to man's law, but definitely have sinned according to God's.

In these crazy times, I should have been deceived the same way millions of others have been, but it's no contest. I've been able to see the truth, and the lies, for what they are the whole time. It's like my eyelids are taped open and I can't help but see the truth.

The only explanation is that Jesus granted me this undeserved insight, and must have done so for a reason. I just don't know what to do next.

It's a scary time for all of us, and I want to leave darkness for good and live in the light of God. I just don't know what to do next. I know to read the Word and to pray, but it feels like I should do more. Maybe I need help finding the right scriptures to study; how to learn more about God's plan for me from here for dummies.

    Any suggestions?
