According to Psalm 24 verse 4

He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

What does it mean to have clean hands and a pure heart... and who has not lifted up his soul to vanity could someone elaborate on that for me ?

    Dear Child of God,

"Come to me all who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest" Matt 11:28-29 Our Lord Jesus Christ uttered these words to all, those who are miserable, sorrowful and damaged by their sinful way of life, those want help with living with our affliction, lustful gratifications, sinful prideful desires, those who have no hope for what is to come, those with a concern for the truth, those who are humble in heart, those who want to believe and want to receive the good news, Jesus Christ will give you rest.

All your toil and labour as you will to yield to the Lord will not be in vain, for your reward is everlasting, eternal and never ending. As the Lord prepares a home for you, prepare your self for his return, let him upon his return find you, doing his will, the duty and responsibility entrusted to you, dont be such a servant that neglects his responsibility when the master is not there. But be ever doing that which is faithful and true to who He is. Strive like no man can, for you have not contended or fought to the point of death, have you?

Charity; Agape, Love; Christ fulfils all things, he is love, Gods love, which gives freely and willingly, since it never fails, look into that, stir up your self to start giving, knowing that your Father in heaven, will never let those who are his, lack of anything they need. Know that all that you have, is what God has given, based on his complete understanding and wisdom, of who you are and mankind as a whole, what he does is always good, always true, always faithful and right.

Believe and trust in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, and all is well.

Remember we look not upon the things of this world but on heavenly spiritual things, do not let the senses, which cause you, to rely upon yourself , but instead lean, call and rely upon the word, which never fails, and is always true.

Listen to God and not self, because we have nothing to offer, Jesus Christ is the only way.

    God Bless

No the Bible does not teach anywhere that belief in christ is all that is required for salvation.

It repeatedly from beginning to end continues to teach faith together with obedience to God's ten commandments are a prerequisite to salvation. Everyone in the Bible is judged according to their works. Not according to their faith. Romans 3:31

"Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law." 1 John 2:4

"He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him."

    King James

    Luke 18:18

"And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?" Luke 18:19

"And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God."

    Luke 18:20

"Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother."

    King James

    Matthew

    5

    Matthew 5:17

"Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil."

    King James

    John

    15

    John 15:10

"If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love." John 14:15

"If ye love me, keep my commandments."

    King James

    Luke

    13

    Luke 13:24

"Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able."

    King James

    Romans 2:6

"Who will render to every man according to his deeds:"

    King JamesRevelation 22:12

"And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be."

    King James

There is a ton of more verses that could be attached that continue to back up truth.

The main thing is you must read the Bible for yourself because ultimately you are responsible for your own salvation. Trusting what I say or what this person says is not the way to work out your own salvation.

    Luke 11:13

"If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?"

So, what does it mean to be given the Holy Ghost? Is this something outside the scriptures that we cannot see.?

If God gives it to us how do we receive it, only by asking? Is it possible for us to have the mind of Christ given unto us, if so ,it must come from God! We cannot earn it. We can memorize all scripture, but may not have the slightest unction of what the Holy Ghost is! This is how important prayer is, only by asking will we receive! When this happens all the words of scripture will begin to come in ways we never knew! Prayer is so absolute in what it does!

    Pt 2, Jesse

29Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith HE WAS SANCTIFIED, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?30 For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge HIS people"

Is the above scripture for believers or not believers? Verse 29, "HE WAS SANCTIFIED". so it is for believers. The text says that if one who was once saved sins willfully (the greek text here implies a continuous action, not just do a sin/s, but live in sins, live a sinful life) then damnation is the result. People who were once saved when they go back to their previous sinful life and enjoy sinning without feeling any guilt, is like they step on Jesus, like they consider His sacrifice as nothing really, like they stand with pride against the H.S. and His work of sanctification. For these people there is no other sacrifice left to call on. It doesn't say that there is no salvation for them but it says no other sacrifice (since they don't value and ask for Jesus' Blood there isn't any other sacrifice left for them to ask for) So if they never awake from their spiritual sleep and go back (like the prodigal son did) then the Hell is the end of the road for them.

In the following verse 32-34, Paul encourages believers to keep going their way no matter the tribulations they suffer due to their faith to Jesus, because they must complete their road, if not, salvation will not be granted to them. And now we come to verse 39, "But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul"

So the proper interpretation of it, according to my belief is, "But we are not of those who go back to their previous sinful lives and get destruction at the end, but of those who keep on their faith and at the end get the promise of salvation"

The question then becomes if the word can be changed into what man thinks it should mean, then is the spirit that is within it stay alive?

Is the Spirit active in the cense that it moves, or is it stagnant and only a memory a way of thinking, and not living? If it doesn't move, then it is no longer a genuine Spirit ! Right? The question thus becomes what is a true Spirit?

What makes us yearn for righteousness! What makes us thirsty and hungry for righteousness. Will mans word give us more light into the things of God? Can we experience growing in grace?

The first revised standard version came out in the sixties, and there are probably 30 or more now today! Has this worked, has this made the world a better place ? Everyone it seems has there own interpretation, of which the bible says there is no private interpretation. What then do you believe? Soon , they will remove ant evidence of Christ at all! His resurrection, His glorification, into some kind of manmade fable!

The day is here that if you do not use the "RIGHT" bible. you may not open your doors!

God said not to worship false idols, not to decorate or make anything from wood etc that is from heaven. ( not the exact words )

But churches are full of crosses with the Lord Jesus on them. And there are decorations of the heavens.

What is the difference between true worship and false worship? Col 2: 16-20

One sort of church says, silence and solemnity is worship, and another, loud praise music and thanksgiving is worship.

Is worship not just holding a true reverence to God in our hearts? Would that consists as worship. No matter the form God chooses to use, through his children? John 4:23

Timeline for the Lastdays? In Mt.24:34 Jesus says Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. (For all things to be fulfilled, that would no doubt be the last generation, now when could that generation have started? When Israel became a nation in 1948. How long is a generation? Ps.90:10 The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. A generation is 70 years, but if by reason of strength it be 80 years, then that last 10 years would be a time of labour and sorrow! From 1948 to 2018 is 70 years. So by this verse we are 5 years into the time period the verse calls (labour) and (sorrow). (labour) #5999; toil, wearing effort, worry of body or mind, iniquity, miserable (-sery) pain (-ful) sorrow, trouble, wearisome, wickedness. (sorrow) #205; to pant, (hence to exert oneself) usually in vain, to come to naught, also trouble, vanity, wickedness, affliction, evil, false, unjust, unrighteous, vain, vanity, wicked (-ness) (The meanings of the words labour and sorrow in the oringinal languages show us exactly what we are dealing with and living today! And went it is cut off "we fly away" Any thoughts, anybody?

Standing before the cross, you will hear the words "Father forgive them for they know not what they do"!

Christ knew man , even as He hung on the cross. His heart and mind toward All mankind in there depraved state of sin.

    I ASK YOU!

How could a loving God send His Son to die for you and me? How could a loving God stand by and hear His Son cry out these words, and watch Him die?

Is this not the same God you proclaim as "a loving God"! Is this the God whom you say loves us all? Is this the God you say could never judge us? Ah my friends this God is mightier then you will ever know!

This God has turned aside, and has let His dear Son die without a word!

He has turned away and let His Son die for YOU AND ME!

Even so YOUR "unknown God" has released the power that can only come from heaven itself.

The revelation that He is who He says, That you might know He has the power to forgive sin!

That He will let you see, and walk, and hear, that He and His Father are one! That He is who He says He is! Christ the Savior of the world!

In Genesis, God said Let Us Create Man in Our Own Image. All Things we're Created by God for His Pleasure. So Who is Us ? It's the Father, The Son and The Holy Ghost. In Matthew 3 :: When John the Baptist Baptized Jesus , The Son of God . The Bible says The Holy Ghost like in Acts 2 as Cloven Toungues of Fire is Literally Visible. And He , The Holy Ghost Descends on Jesus like a Dove. As this is Occurring, The Father Speaks from Heaven and says,, This is My Beloved Son in Whom I am Well Pleased. It's Impossible to Argue but Yet People will that All 3 Members of The Godhead are Present. And Each 1 is Completely Separate from the Other. Why is that ? Because They are 3 Separate in the Godhead , but Each is God. I had a Jesus Only Doctrine tell Me one Time when I Brought these Scriptures to His Attention. His Response was " Don't You think God could Stand on Earth and Talk to Himself from Heaven.. " And I said " Sure He could, but why would God Use Trickery and Deception. When He is not a Man to Lie or Repent. " I have never Understood the Conflict in Something that is a ABC Type Thing, a Fundamental to Learn Teaching. Why Man has went back and Forth, Wrote Books, Formed Entire Doctrines over Scripture a Child could Grasp. None of this is going to Disqualify Anyone from Heaven. But why are We Straining at Gnats and Swallowing Camels. Jesus is Coming like a Thief in the Night. But there is Good News, So We Must Always Remember that All Who Call Upon The Name of The Lord Shall be Saved. Amen.
