  • GOD on 1 Corinthians 2:9 - 10 years ago
The very thing god has instore for us is the destruction of mans system which was created by satan and the birth of gods system on earth.the system we live by today rules the whole world,it creates wars, terrorism, crime, uprisings, poor, middle class, rich people, taxes, bills and money.this system is flawed massively, and it will be anhilated.gods system is different, there will be no wars, terrorism, crime, uprisings, pooror the bad things mentioned above but all the people of earth will be rich.we go to work for a material cash that was given to us for nothing to pay for gold which was also given to us for nothing, god provided us everything for nothing because he worked for us out of love and kindness,he worked for 6 days, how much money did we give him?? None!!!! we as humans should be working like the red ants, they work hard to provide for the queen, humans queen is life itself, under gods system everyone will be equal, the man stacking the shelves at the supermarket will be as important as the prime minister, everyone should know theirplace, basically,we will have to work to get everything for nothing,eg.no gas, electric, water or food bills, free alcohol, free petrol, diesel, brand new cars, free tvs, laptops, phones, conservataries, houses, flats, appartments,no taxes of any kind, money will be in the museums, obviously there will be laws but if u dont break the law it simply does not apply to you.this is exactly what god has instore for us!!!

  • David on Luke 18 - 10 years ago
In verse 8 the "the " before the word "faith " is missing from this translation from the Greek. Corrected, it should read: "I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall He find the faith on the earth? When rendered properly it harmonizes with Jude 3 "Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. "
  • Grant on 1 Corinthians 8:6 - 10 years ago
One is one. Period. Jesus said me and the Father are one. One what? At Jn 17:21 Jesus said he and his disiples are one. So, Jesus wanted all his followers to be one, just as he and his Father one. Jesus is not saying he is God when he says me and the Father are one.
  • Anthony on Matthew 23:9 - 10 years ago
In response to the comments regarding Scripture reference "call no man Father... " - most of which are disparaging remarks directed at Catholics who address their Pastors as "Father "! Who among you have not referred to your own biological male parent as being "your father ". So what does Lord Jesus have reference to in this passage? I would suggest that we need to look at the overall context in which our Lord makes the statement. Peace be with you!

  • Uruakpa Anthonia on John 18 - 10 years ago
Jesus purposely laid down himself to be arrested because at that point they could not recognise Jesus. It was Jesus who asked them 'Whom seek ye? ' Even when Jesus said 'I am He ', they all fell to the ground. This simply shows that they don 't have the power to arrest Jesus but because Jesus knows his purpose on earth and it was time to fulfill that purpose, he simply laid down himself to be arrested.
  • Kenny on Job 24:1 - 10 years ago
Why is it that everyone fails to see the obvious mistake in punctuation in all subsequent translations of Job 24:1 from the original 1611 KJV? The verse is referring to people that DO NOT know God! Job is asking: Why do sinners have health, wealth and happiness?

  • Anonymous on Acts 8 - 10 years ago
In Acts chapter 2:38 Peter was addressing Jews on the day of Pentecost, when they asked what must they do verse 37, He Peter said unto them, repent, and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. That was the requirement of the early church. Now, turn to Acts 10:44 While Peter yet spake these words the Holy Ghost fell on them which heard words. In Acts 2:38 the Jews had to repent, be baptized everyone of them in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of their sins in order to receive the Holy Spirit. But, Acts 10:44 they The Gentles received the Holy Spirit without being baptized. They early believers who were Jews still under the old Mosaic covenant at that time. Which was a different dispensation, were required to be water baptized to be saved. But, under the new dispensation according to the Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 1 4 all that is required for salvation, "both Jews and Gentles is truly believing in the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, plus nothing. Then we will be baptized with the Holy Spirit. Look Acts 16: 30-31 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said Paul and Silas Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. He did not saw they should repent and be baptize. No. all they said was believe!

  • Markie on Luke 23 - 10 years ago
Um Michael what are you talking about? The angles didn 't just simply retrieve Jesus 's dead lifeless body. Christ spirit left his body when he died on the cross then that spirit went back into his body 3 days later. That is a resurrection... a once dead body brought back to life. He was seen walking and preaching and even eating in that body after he resurrected then I think 40 days layer he ascended into heaven. How is that like a parent getting their child 's dead body to bury at home? And btw Christ is king.
  • Hugh Scott on Psalms 19 - 10 years ago
I have no religious certainties but have always loved this psalm. I do meditate and I do try to be available to the speech that is not speech. I know myself to be created, moment by moment, by the flow of the universe, by the floor beneath my feet, the sound of a door closing or magpies on the fence. I spring forth continuously from the great universe which continuously closes behind me. And as I do, I keep trying to ask the question, what is this, this, THIS? And what this psalm says to me, yes, keep on asking that question! Stay with it! This is a question capable of being answered.
  • Stan Finley on Acts 14 - 10 years ago
If Paul was in Heaven why would there be a resurrection? We have to toss out the Books of Thessalonians from Christ was first raised by dead by God His Father to be seated at the right hand of His Our Father. When we die, our bodies become corrupt and await the return of Christ and our spirit returns to God. Secondly, God led Jesus via the Holy Spirit to be challenged by the god of this world. He couldn 't have withstood the temptations of Satan if Jesus didn 't know the scriptures. Also, before Jesus allowed himself to be taken and crucified He stated, " be thy will to take this cup from me " it was Christ chosing to do His Father 's will, God did not use Jesus Christ, He could have quite anytime but He always did His Our Fathers will win back our sanctification and righteousness and salvation, Jesus knew there was no other way than partake the sin nature of man to win us back! God never uses anyone, but He calls us to do His will as He did His Son. People are loved by God and things are used. Jesus was tempted in all ways, God cannot be tempted or the Scriptures would be broken. To God He is the beginning and the end, and the god of this world knows it. Satan doesn 't us know how deceitful and dark he is but God will reveal it to His believers. God never turned His back on His Son and He will never turn His back on us, unless we choose to reject Him. Hosea 4:6 - Amen!

  • Katie Henry on Job 8 - 10 years ago
Rich. It wasn't the LORD doing these things. It was satan! Did you read the beginning of this book? GOD was so proud of Job and KNEW JOB inside and out and knew he wouldn 't cave to satan. GOD knew Job would never curse GOD. Satan was going to and fro on the earth... doing what? Accusing. Just what he always does. Even to GODS face satan said that Job only loved GOD because GOD made him rich blessed him accusing . So God allowed this to happen. To prove Jobs love and faith to GOD. Also to teach us a lesson. Satans evil spirit still goes to and fro on the earth this day doing the same thing as he is doing here... but also know, some day satan himself- de facto will be back again.

  • Herminia on 1 Thessalonians 1:9 - 10 years ago
I enjoyed reading the comments. In Thessalonians Paul 's heart reaches out to God 's people. His hope is to keep them in faith. Faith is a gift from God. It is given to help us to trust God. Paul understood the gift of faith, it was faith that kept him confident and strength to continue God 's mission. Jesus said, " No one comes to me unless the Father draws him. " The Father searches the heart and when he sees that someone believes in His Son, he draws them to receive Jesus. Jesus said, " You did not choose me, I chose you. " Paul learned to trust God the Father in the Lord Jesus Christ, and it helped Paul to learn to be content no matter his state. Hebrew 11:6 He who comes to Him must believe that He is, and that He is the re-warder of them that diligently seek me, but without Faith it is impossible to please him. God 's word must be looked at closely to determine where we sin against Him. But if we ask for forgiveness He is Just to forgive us our sins. What is Faith? Trust

Decades back, the Lord 's supper was taken in every church I 'd attended, but these days, it 's mostly once a month that the Lord 's supper is there is most church as in 1 Corinthians 11:25 it is written, "Do have it as often as you can? "
  • Grant on Hebrews 1:3 - 10 years ago
This is in responce to Kays misinformation about the word "worship " inregard to Heb 1:6. I will explain useing terms from the scriptures and not unscriptual terms like "God made in the flesh ", or "trinity ",or "God the son " or even "Mother of God ". I will start with the defining of the word "worship ". Proskyneo translated from greek is worship. At Acts 10:25 Cornilius worshiped Peter. Was Peter God? At Rev 22:8 John worshiped an angel. Was that angel God? Same thing at Rev 19:10. Was that angel God? At Mathew 14:33 Jesus 's own disiples worshiped him but they said he was Gods son. The act of worship can have many forms. Bowing down, bending at the knee, kissing the cheek, kissig the ground. But when using a form of the word worship the spelling may be differant. So, getting back to Hebrews 1:6. Did the angels worship the son because he was God? What did one of the angels say to Mary when he told her that she was going to have a child? Did the angel say the child would be God? No. That angel knew the child would be the son of the MOST HIGH. Also remember that at Heb.1:6 those angels were angels of God, and showing respect to their God they worshied the son. As in Rev.19:10 and Rev.22:9 the angels knew who to worship.

  • James on 1 John 3:9 - 10 years ago
There seems, to be a congregation of Job 's friends here, God does allow the unjust to prosper, the wicked do increase, and we do sin. The just do get chastised and we do suffer tribulations as the church. However, the Blood Covers, and God judges through righteousness as He determines, it is the final judgement that counts, as Paul said He is without sin, yet did he not send Steven off to glory?
