  • Motdaugrnds on Matthew 10 - 10 years ago
The Ezk 1:5 is "These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: " and from what you 've said, is this your reasoning for not "being " an "active " believer? I 'm concerned by your post in that you sure have a lot of "If " in your speech. Reminds me of when Jesus was in the wilderness being tempted of the devil. We must all recognize our "free wills " and this does keep evil in this world we live in. I encourage you to look for the GOOD around you because it exists too.
  • Laurea on Matthew 5 - 10 years ago
There is so much to absorb within Matthew 5. I use to think that suffering as a Christian had to do with sharing the Word or when others seen you take a stand for your faith in Christ. However, I realize that persecution, being lied about, shunned can come from just being who you are everyday. My family has persecuted me off and on for years and it has deeply hurt but tonight as I read again what Christ was saying in reference to suffering I understood that our suffering can not compare to what He suffered for me, the world, for just one little lost lamb who is lonely, soiled and stained! Suffering hurts especially when it 's not justifiable but the Word says that our suffering is what makes us strong and teaches us how to depend on His opinion only and right about now? I really need that assurance.

  • T. Robinson Ahlstrom on Psalms 63 - 10 years ago
It is absolutely true that the first hour of every day is best spent in the presence of the Infinite Personal Deity who willed and worked the rising of the son and made its light move from east to west over the waters. The same Father of Lights who ordains a new day has mapped out what we should do in it. How can we know the way if we do not seek his will? How can we have the strength if we do not draw on his power? How can we bear the troubles that a day may bring if we do not have complete confidence in his mysterious love? Who would leave out on a journey without a destination or the means by which to reach it?
  • George on Genesis 28 - 10 years ago
Why could Isaac not bless both Jacob and Esau equally? The entire conflict seems to be born out of poor treatment by Isaac....could not Gods blessing be large enough for both sons?

  • NENE on Acts 2 - 10 years ago
Hi Everyone, Do it for your own soul cause if you do not obey the scriptures as the command comes from JESUS himself in Matthew 16:17-19 giving the commission to Peter you will loose your soul and the day of Pentecost Peter spoke and told what must everyone do to be saved in Acts 2. It 's real it 's real and you will never regret that you took the time to yourself and prayed to God above on your Knees asking him to search your heart and cleanse you from all of your sins and of course ask for the Holy Ghost I dare any sincere hearted person to do just what I said, you will begin to fill his presence come upon you but don 't be afraid just keep praying until he fill your soul with this Precious Holy Ghost just try it for your own soul, how could you go wrong talking to the only God above ? God bless everyone!!
  • Lydia on Acts 9 - 10 years ago
Acts 9:11-12 And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth, And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight. OMG isn 't this brilliant? Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit knows our addresses, the street and the house number, our name and exactly who to contact! He knows what we are doing at every hour, what we are praying for, so He gives us the answers visions of what we should expect! Do we visualise our answers by faith? All we have to do is to believe that He has heard that we may receive. This God we serve is amazing! May this be our comfort and rest in Jesus name.
  • RNM 1-11 GEN on Genesis 1 - 10 years ago
GEN 1-11... Genesis 2:3 this is the first sign of a day of rest, their were no Jews around only Adam I 'll bet he observed the seventh day, what do you think, It was common knowledge with all mankind to rest on the 7th day God made that perfectly clear, it was man 's refusal to obey God that brought about the problems for man, it is the least we could do was obey the God that created us, the Sabbath has been around since the 7th day, all of mankind at some point has been made aware of the 7th day, where do you think the gentiles came from? Abraham, his handmaid Hagar gave birth to Ishmael which became the father of the gentile nations, but still knew of the 7th day Sabbath from his father Abraham, the God of Heaven is fair and just, in every way. all of the human race at some point in time was aware of the true 7th day Sabbath but them ,like you has rejected it because of unbelief, it is deception on a world scale, like Eve in the garden being cunningly deceived into breaking God 's law, like you and the rest of mankind being cunningly deceived into breaking God 's Sabbath law, how slick is that, with Eve, physical death befell man, with mankind, spiritual death in the lake of fire. MATT 7:21... Not everyone that saith unto me Lord, Lord, shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven but he that doeth the will of my father which is in Heaven. The will of God is to be obedient to his law. It 's really that simple. AMEN!!

  • Jason Young on Hebrews 11 - 10 years ago
Michel, do we do anything for our salvation? Is there anything we can do to influence God? No there isnt. It is our faith in Him not his in us. We are human and make mistakes without even knowing it. Why would a perfect God need to have faith in us?
  • God's Woman's- on Matthew 5:44 - 10 years ago
Hi Judy, if it will help, know that you are not alone. They that live Godly shall suffer persecution. I was persecuted and threatened by a stalker. Do you really think it 's easy to love him? "Love your enemies " rolls off of the tongue very smoothly, but it takes the power of the Holy Ghost and work. Take comfort though in knowing that your brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus are going through, but serving God will pay in GREAT dividends. Your name is written in the Lamb 's book of life, and satan does not like it. It 's not the people that come against you. It 's the demons in them.Look up for your redemption draws near, and try to avoid people who try to harm you. Jesus did. Who are we more than he?
  • KEZZY BENTO on REVElation 1 - 10 years ago

  • Andy on Leviticus 27 - 10 years ago
Galatians 2:16-17. Is really the answer, Are you still sinning? Christ is not the minister of sin, and your burden to pay tithes will not atone for it.
  • Akusian Oforibabea on Titus 1:16 - 10 years ago
Yes, just as the word of God says: some who profess to walk with God but have nothing in them to show neither their deeds exhibit Christlike nature. That 's the reason why God said so in the scriptures that it is not everyone who says 'Lord, Lord ' will enter into the Kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. The word of God goes on to say that on that day, many will say to the Lord, 'Lord, Lord, 'did we not prophesy in your name, cast out demons in your name, and do mighty works in your name? And then will I say unto you, I know you not depart from me, ye workers of iniquity. Stay with the word and neither add nor subtract anything from the word. Leave a life worthy of the Gospel.

  • NORMA C OGRADY on Genesis 4:10 - 10 years ago
Jehovah God is all knowing. He already knew what Cain had done to his brother Abel. He just confronted Cain to give him a chance to use the free will that He Jehovah had given him as well as each and every human after the fall of his parents Adam and Eve. Genesis 4:10- And He Jehovah said: 'What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother 's blood crieth unto Me from the ground. Jehovah gave him the opportunity to confess his act of premeditated murder and would have forgiven him but Cain 's answer was to the contrary. That is why Jehovah said to Cain: 'Where is Abel your brother? ' And Cain replied: 'I don 't know am I my brother 's keeper? ' Thus Cain sealed his own fate. Jehovah at this point gave him justice.
