How does a spiritual child of God live in a world that is 3-dimensional and controlled by the devil? We walk by faith not by sight! II Cor.5:7 "...if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature... " II Cor.5:17 . Therefore, we must actively "Set your affections on things above, not on things on the earth. " Col.3:2 Let your desire to please your Heavenly Father control your life style. Let God 's Word re-train your mind, bringing your attitudes, values and beliefs back into harmony with God 's principles. And let God 's Word dictate what you allow your body to do. Rom.12:1-2 "...for they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh but they that are after the Spirit, the things of the spirit...For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. " Rom.8:1, 5, 14 "Wherefore, gird up the loins of your mind be...obedient..., not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance. " I Peter 1:13-14 "...for why will ye die? The Book of Daniel coincides with the Book of Revelation. Daniel was talking about the future, present. For hundreds of years, no one could understand Daniels ' prophecy and the Book of Revelation. We are only just now beginning to put the two together and understand. Problem is, pastors do not want to preach on these two books. Either they are afraid they will offend their congregation, or else they do not understand themselves. We are living in the last days. The Antichrist is getting ready to appear. Are we ready to recognize this angel of Light when he appears? There will many calling themselves Christians, who will believe and follow this Antichrist. Only those of us who are truly saved will know who this deceiver is. He will deceive the entire world, only a few will remain faithful. They are the ones who will be martyred for their faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Sam, God does give all that we need! Himself! His Son! What more is needed? Yes, I suppose we all have earthly "needs, " but those are more of just "wants. " We can survive a fiery furnace or a den of lions or living on the streets with nothing but the presence of the almighty! Hebrews 13:5 - "...For He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. " Do not be discouraged brother! :-

The sabbath was for Israel because they require a sign 1 Cor 1:22. Moreover also I gave them my SABBATHS to be a SIGN between me and them, that they might know that I am the LORD that sanctify them. Ez 20:12. And madest known unto them they holy SABBATH, and commandedst them precepts, statutes, and laws, by thy hand of Moses thy servant: Neh 9:14. If you keep one point of the law you have to keep it all, James 2:10. Do you work on the Sabbath? Death then see Ex 35:2. Do you start your car on the Sabbath? That 's starting a fire on the Sabbath. Death for you then Ex 35:3. Thank the Lord for dying on the cross for our sins. He kept the whole because we couldn't do it. Trust Him not yourself. Wonder why Paul the apostle to the Gentiles Rom 11:13, left out the Sabbath in Romans 13:9. Verse 8 says :for he that love another has fulfilled the law. Whaaaaat? Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God and every one that love is born of God, and known God.
  • Jacob on Acts 2 - 11 years ago
They that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do the other scriptures, unto their own destruction 2 Peter 3:16. Desiring to be teachers of the law understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm. But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage? Ye observe DAYS, and months, and times, and years. Gal 4:9-10. Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an HOLYDAY, or of the new moon, or of THE SABBATH DAYS: Col 2:16.

Where did tradition really come from? Are these people who keep traditions today pharisess? We as believers are to watch what come out from our mouth when ministering to people who are lost, we could be judging, however if that person want to have a relationship with God. I think people of God should live by example with their life not words, you should not be putting pearls in the ears of lost people, unless they are repenting and coming to Christ.
  • Edith Frimpong on Psalms 1 - 11 years ago
This is an insightful inspiration from God through David. Many of us point at de-associating ourselves from the ungodly, the scornful and the unrighteous. But this also requires an inner reflection of our lives. Are we being true to God? Are we requesting for blessings from Him when we genuinely know we are not true to Him? Are we part of the ungodly group? Are we losing our valuable christian friends due to our gradual stray from the word of God? Let us ponder over these questions.
  • Bernard on James 3 - 11 years ago
Its a great word from God. How we must tame the tonque. If we are to do that then we can be called true Christians. Verse 18:and that which come from God is peaceful. What kind of wisdom come from our minds? Are they gracious to bring righteousness and peace? If not then its from the flesh. God help us all, especially ME
  • Omale on Matthew 16 - 11 years ago
The key for me is in verses 15 and 19. In verse 15 Jesus gave the challenge " but who do you think I am "? We are quick to point the way to others. We are quick to see and hear others but not ourselves. The personal relationship with God is what God requires from us and never a group thing. Who is Jesus to you? Then in verse 19 it becomes clear that only those with a clear understanding of their relationship with Christ will have the revelations from Him. The keys of heaven is given to those who know Him. With this key, you are in charge of this world. You can bind and loose. The keys are for the kingdom use. They must be used for His glory. Know Him and you will have the keys.
  • RNM ACTS 2-----14 on Acts 2 - 11 years ago
Was the Messiah LYING to the prisoner on the cross next to him, "HE WASNT BAPTISED ".... And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us. But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? And we indeed justly for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom...... And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise Luke 23:39-43....Baptism is not what saves a person it is the GRACE OF GOD!! The baptism is an outward testimony of salvation, and Obedience, and also sincere Obedience to GOD requires us to observe all ten Commandments of GOD. That includes the 7th day Sabbath, despite the world view. AMEN!!!
  • Insight 777 on Daniel 9 - 11 years ago
Verse25, God is higher than a king, a king is higher than a prince. When Jesus returns would it be to hold a lesser position than the kings of the earth, returning as a prince and not a king? Kings rule kingdoms, not princes. This is a scripture that makes me think that the Messiah the prince spoken of here is not Jesus but another anticipated Messiah. Because when Jesus returns it is to set up a kingdom to rule. If Messiah the prince is Jesus then there will be an earthly king that rules him. I have found no scripture that supports that.

PSALMS 96 1 14 15 11:57 PM In V-5 For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the LORD made the heavens. Yea, Exactly and True...For we will SING,BLESS,GLORY,PRAISE DECLARE, HONOUR,WORSHIP and GIVE unto the LORD. In JEREMIAH 10:10-12 10 But the LORD is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation. 11 Thus shall ye say unto them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, even they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens. 12 He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and stretch out the heavens by his discretion. In 1 TIMOTHY 6:17 saith Charge them that are rich in this world, that they may not high minded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in living God, who giveth us richly things to enjoy So, what shall we do then? Just we trust unto the living God, who REDEEMED our Soul and have a SALVATION unto the Lord Jesus Christ. A-men.

  • John on Genesis 6 - 11 years ago
Hey Alvin. I can tell you what happened to the angels who fathered the hybrid race. God tells us that He locked them in unbreakable chains, in Tartarus - Tartarus is also called The Pit, and The Pit, is literally in the midst of the earth. The hybrid offspring are the Nephilim, and they almost took over the entire world. That is why God destroyed them with the flood. But, the scriptures tell us there were giants in the earth in those days days of Noah and also afterwards after when? after the flood. It is my belief that the small grey "aliens " are actually fallen angels, trying to create another race which could destroy humankind. The scriptures don 't tall us what happened to the women who were married to the angels. They probably had no choice, and therefore were not found guilty. The scriptures tell us these angels "took whoever they wanted " 2 Peter 2:4 4 "For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment 5And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly 6And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an example unto those that after should live ungodly " Hope this helps Alvin. • Joni G on Romans 1 - 11 years ago
Yes, just to say I believe God in my heart and believe in His power is not enough to save you. Otherwise, no verses would be in the Bible that ask believers to be baptized. All those people on the day of Pentecost and after would have never asked believers to repent and be baptized. They were filled with the Holy Spirit. They could not lie. Acts 22:16 Paul told the audience that Ananias asked him to be baptized and wash away his sins. Paul was still filled with the Holy Spirit. He could not have lied. Why did God ask Abraham to sacrifice his only son? Couldn 't Abraham have just said, I believe you God and not made the trip? Abraham had waited 20 years for the promise of a son. Is it too much to ask that we be baptized once we believe? I think not. We should follow and obey Jesus in anything he requires of us. God bless you RNM and all. May we all grow in the grace and knowledge of Him.

Peleg for in his days the earth was divided. Peleg 6389 Strong 's the same as 6388 earthquake 6388 Strong 's the same as 6385 palag, paw-lag ' a prim. root to split lit. or fig. :-divide The division of the Northern "tribes " from the Southern "tribes " may be the time this name is depicting. Was this in the time of Rehoboam and Jeroboam and the split of the two houses? Why would one make note of an "earthquake " in a name if there was only division amongst the "tribes "? And was this what it was or was there an actual earthquake in diverse places to have divided the people? One may believe it to be a simple thing such as the division of the houses of Israel, but again why would a father name one of his son 's a name meaning "earthquake " unless the land was actually physically divided?

The earth-already existed. God is the God of excellence. Does he create chaos? For who was the earth originally created? What destroyed earth in the first place? The first ruler was found wanting and was thrown out of Heaven. Did he struck the earth and caused the destruction? Did this caused the 1st flood?

It scares me to know Lot 's Wife actually made it in to Zoar AND THEN looked back...Then they wound up going into the mountain anyways as the Angel already commanded . Did anybody realize that the Angels asked if he had "son-in-laws " but not "daughter-in-laws "?...I wonder what his sons had gotten into in a city like that?

  • Joni G on Acts 1 - 11 years ago
I wonder why Paul when retelling his story in Acts 22:16 said that he was told by Aninias to arise and be baptized, calling on His Jesus name? The kingdom is also synonymous with the church. We are added to the church, kingdom after we become Christians. Yes, we most certainly believe the whole Bible. Jacob is right when he says who were they talking to. The Jews who had been God 's chosen people needed to believe in Jesus as the Messiah and we are grafted in and become part of the Kingdom, church after becoming Christians. And of course the kingdom is spiritual. Colossians 1:12-15. We are spiritually one with Christ after obeying the gospel. Dwelling in our hearts through faith. Ephesians 3:17 and Ephesians 4:1-7
  • Sue on Ezekiel 13 - 11 years ago
THe thing that I have come to realize is this...The dead have already risen...God said to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord...He also said that he is the God of the living not the dead, and the thief hanging on the cross who accepted Christ was told that THIS day you would be with HIM in paradise. Therefore the dead are already raised and will not come from the grave. There will be no need for this body, they have already discarded it. I too have come to believe that there is no Rapture...those who can not see it must be those who have not ear to hear nor eye to see. The False Christ comes at the 6th trump and Christ at the 7th. We will be here and will not fly away. One question to possibly help those with trouble seeing this I have always had a problem with the scripture that talks about doing things orderly. That God is not the author of confusion...why then when He returns would He create Chaos? It is not His Nature. so if not His Nature what is...to tell His loved ones what to expect.
