Let me ask you this. Do you have the Holy Ghost? Have you followed Acts 2: 38? Even though there are people who fast without having followed Acts 2: 38 it helps you to have followed it in order to get the full benefit. In the end, you can fast, pray, live a clean life, sacrifice for others, but if you have not followed Acts 2: 38 before either you die during this grace age or the rapture takes place you are still lost.

I don 't agree with you that Jesus Christ holds all three offices, making him the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost, thus it will immediately follows that they are equal in power and authority. The bible tells us plainly that they are distinct to one another. The Father is Greater than the Son - John 15:28-. In the book of Genesis 1:26 When God said "Let US make man in OUR image " he is talking to someone who has the power to create just like himself, so beside the Father who else has the power to create? of course its the Son. Its impossible to think that God talk to his angels about creation of men, since angels has no power to create, and its impossible that the Father talking to himself, remember our God is not the author of confusion 1Cor 14:33.

Fasting. Verse 16. Also Isaiah 58. Isaiah 58 talks about God wanting us to help our brothers. Loosen the bonds of oppression. Can anyone tell me why fasting isn 't talked about much or preached about? Even in Acts 13 the apostles fasted and prayed before they went on their mission. Hello G.: Are you questioning the color of Jesus Christ. We already know that Jesus Christ has Black people in his lineage. There was even a prostitute in his lineage on his mother s side. Hello Joni G.: I am glad that God brought you back from near suicide. If you have the correct baptism then I am happy for you. However, your experience is not yet complete. You need the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the spirit of God gives you utterance. Paul, 1 Corinthians 14: 39 Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and FORBID not to speak with tongues. These tongues he is referring to is the evidence that a person has when they are filled with the Holy Ghost. The word covet means to want ardently esp. something that another person has . If I can say it like this, Paul was saying to us and the Corinthian church that we should want this gift and evidence of speaking in tongues. The Holy Ghost experience did not just end in the 1st Century. What about Azusa Street experience in the 20th century? I have experienced this myself. I speak in other tongues as the spirit of God gives utterance.

Whether or not a person believes, speaking in tongues is right. If it were not so then God would not have let it be written in the Bible. A question was asked on the day of Pentecost and an answer was given by Peter, Acts 2. There are examples in the Bible. I have not read anywhere where Jesus stated that baptism alone saves you. I have not read anywhere where Jesus stated that all you need is to be baptized and you are saved. Hello Mike: John 17: 17 "Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth ". So do I understand that you do not believe that Jesus calmed the sea? Do you know of any human man that calmed the sea? I believe that God calmed the sea. God is the only one that can control the waters on this Earth. Why do you think the bow rainbow appears in the sky? Let s think for a moment that these are religious men during that time that the scripture, Genesis 6: 2, is talking about men who called on the name of the Lord. Michael, I am so sorry for your loss. A loss like that is hard to cope with much less understand. Have you tried in Bereavement groups in your town? These groups have trained leaders to help you cope and also has group members who have lost spouses. My mom-in- law went to a support group when her husband died and was helped tremendously. The grieving takes time. Dont be rushed. So hard. I will praying for you. Jesus is sad too and can comfort you.

Have you given your life to Jesus yet? Find a church that prays, believes in Christ as God 's Son, baptizes believers immerses and is growing. I am sorry you were judged. It must have been a small church. Lots of questions. What other books have you read in the Bible? The gospel of John is a good one. The very next book is Acts. It talks about the beginning of the church. Exciting to read about! Above all, pray that God leads you and shows you what you should do. He will. And Job is amazing! He had just lost his family and everything and he bowed down and praised God! Life can take some drastic and tragic turns sometimes and we can get lost in sorrow. Baptism is a command and if water baptism saves as they teach 2Tim 4:3 and someone is unborn of God before they are baptized, that means unborn Sons Jn 1:12 are obeying commands which they cannot do Jn 8:47, 2Cor 2:14. Also if you believe that you can lose your salvation after you get water baptized wouldn 't your best bet be to drown in the baptistry? Everywhere you see baptism you are seeing water when there are seven baptisms mentioned in the Bible and they are not all water baptisms.
