  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on Genesis 3 - 11 years ago
Hello Amanda and Word John 8 44 is not talking about that these Jews were begotten by Satan. Jesus was saying that they lie like Satan. He is the father of lies, therefore when you lie you are like Satan s children. How many people have lied over the years? I will give you an example. People lie to their children at least once a year. The lie they tell is about Santa Claus. There is no Santa Claus, but people tell this lie none the same. Are all of these people begotten of Satan? When you look back at the creation it does not say that none of Cain s descendants survived the flood. Only 8 people were saved in the Ark. When you run the lineage of Noah he did not come from Cain.
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on John 14 - 11 years ago
Hello Mockingbird I do not think that you are saying the same thing as I am are you? Colossians 2 9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. The only way that Jesus Christ dwells in us is through the power of the Holy Ghost which he gives to those who truly repents. The evidence after receiving the Holy Ghost is the speaking in other tongues as the spirit of God give you utterance. There is only one being in the Godhead bodily. There is not three beings in the Godhead bodily. Jesus Christ is God all by himself. It is a mystery, but it is the truth, 1 Timothy 3 16.
  • Joseph Labonte on Ezekiel 7 - 11 years ago
Look at Israel today! And in men 's own words HISTORY repeats it 's self. We might take a hard look at the land thats called Israel today and those whom surround it.... The tribes of Ishmael, a wild men. look to Jerusalem, what has happened, what has happened? It 's a mirror image. Judgement comes! Should we not pray YHWH repent of HIS Judgments, and turn speedily. The people of the entire earth have made HIS creation a dug heap! I personally am ashamed, each and everyone of us are guilty in one way or another. When YHWH speak 's HIS words LIVE, their ALIVE, when people speak their words die just as their bodies. We shall know HIM, YHWH.
  • Joseph Labonte on Ezekiel 1 - 11 years ago
We must think hard on the picture Ezekiel has given us. Look to the skies of todays age. Ponder, what is it that so many see that we can 't quite put our minds to knowing? Now who is the adversary of our Great YHWH?... Who gave the adversary his power? What is it the adversary would fly? Look to the skies of todays age. Now look to sky of Ezekiel 's age. Open your minds and think of how absolutely fantastic and terrible this would be in Ezekiel 's time. What is it? LOOK TO SKIES of this age.
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on John 1 - 11 years ago
Hello Mark John 4 24 God is a Spirit and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. When you think about it this flesh and blood in which we have will not enter into the kingdom of Heaven. These bodies in which we dwell in will be changed in the moment in the twinkling of an eye, 1 Corinthians 15 52. There are two types of bodies celestial bodies and bodies terrestrial, 1 Corinthians 15 40. The celestial bodies are heavenly bodies. The terrestrial bodies are that of the Earth. We are terrestrial bodies, earthly houses. When the rapture takes place these bodies will be changed from flesh to spiritual. The bodies will be made to live forever. We will still have form but yet be spiritual. We do not know what we will be but we know that we will be like him, 1 John 3 2. Did they not recognize Jesus Christ after he rose before he ascended up into heaven? There will be no marriage in heaven we will be like the angels, Mark 12 25. In the end, being a spirit does not necessarily mean that you have no form does it? This is God we are talking about. He is Omnipotent, Omnipresent, and Omniscient. He can do anything. If he says his spiritual body has form a face, body, back, arms, legs etc., so be it.
  • Insight 777 on Obadiah 1 - 11 years ago
Verse 18... Esau means hairy, he was red. Red represents sin in the Bible. Esau was a hunter, a killer. Esau had no self control as he easily sold his birthright for something of little value, a small amount of food when he could have fasted instead. He gave no honor to his family, he gave little value to his bloodline. What is distinctive between man and an animal, a beast? A beast is covered in hair as Esau was. A beast in the bible represents a man or nation that desires war. Verse 18 is saying there will be a world war 3, fire from the sky, and all men that desire war for gain, no matter how small a gain, are beasts that will be destroyed.
  • Jason on Job 1:6 - 11 years ago
I believe the fundamental truth is that the book of JOB was written as an encouragement not as historical fact, the inference here is that Job put himself in satans hands through his fear of his sons actions, but remained faithful through the Devils attacks and received double blessing for his actions. The bible is inspired by God and written by men it is a guide to Gods heart starts you on a closer relationship with him. Do we understand the concept of what the writer is saying? Yes, can satan enter heaven I like to think not as all sin is frazzled in Gods presence however is God all merciful will we know the fullness of his mind? Not untill we sit on his lap in that glorious throne room. God will only act on faith, the devil canot act without fear. Settle it and live in joy. Blessings to all.

  • Elizabeth on Malachi 1 - 11 years ago
God requires from us a SINCERE relationship based on love and respect.. There is no room for deceit and manipulation in our relationship with Him. If we truly desire a good relationship with Him, then we must do it His way. Jesus said "why call me Lord and do not do the things that I say? "

First , I am so blessed to have found this website and have a chance to read the word and engage in conversation on interpertation of it. Second, The message at church on sunday was inrefernce to when we say sorry and forgive me... if we mean it from the heart or just speaking. Hence wha it appears David did whe he asked God forgiveness and to spare his sons life and take his. Also God can forgive and does when we are truelly asking and mean it. My thoughts are as follows for Joab.. he was not in the wrong he did as the King told him, this was David 's sin. Also, nothing about David 's lust for Bathsheba says Love... hence, lust. He did have an ideal mind, and should of been in battle and his lust drove him to sin. His sin caused death to several undeserving fellows and heartache to families, we can assume. However.. there vould be more stories inside that we are not aware of. Each man who passed may have sinned like David and ended up in that place.. we do not know.. Question, was Uriah staying in Davods house and not going home because they war or becuase he knew what David did and he was plotting.. battling right from wrong thoughts toward his wife and or David?

Could this also bear witness to mans life on earth? I understand accidents happen, yet could this Scripture also be referenced to a persons untimely death?
  • Mark on John 1 - 11 years ago
I was simply asking a question, The information has been presented that Jesus was in the beginning and everything was made by him, I ask was Jesus in the flesh in the beginning when everything was made by him? If so, what happened to the flesh when he was conceived of Mary? Did he grow a new flesh? Is it God 's character to inhabit a flesh get rid of that flesh and inhabit a new flesh? In the beginning, was Jesus in the flesh or spirit? If Jesus was in the beginning then how did he exist? in flesh as we know him to be today?

God at times disciplines me through a trial. God can be depended upon. He may be asking me, can I depend on your faith? He knows the answer but He wants me to realize that my faith is strong and growing stronger as He molds me to a certainty in a life of faith.

I am just wondering where Matthew Henry got the information that John was released to go back to Ephesus. When we studied Revelation, we looked at chapter ten in comparison with Ezekiel three. I don 't have access to books like "Trail of Tears ", or whatever else.......... we were told John died on the isle of Patmos. Where can I look this up myself, and what other websites offer study information? This has been enlightening.
  • James on Acts 19 - 11 years ago
Psalm 1 3 And he shall be LIKE A TREE. Isa 61 3 that they might be called TREES of righteousness, Mark 8 24 I see MEN AS TREES walking. Matt 3 10 the axe is laid unto the root of the TREES therefore every TREE which bringeth not forth fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. The Corinthians were the most carnal church and had a problem with their tongue. 1 Cor 12 30 do all speak with tongues? NO! Babies speak of their gifts all the time and spiritually they are christmastree babies. Check Jeremiah 10 3thru5. The christmastree looks good outwardly with its GIFTS but is full of dead mens bones.
  • Tommy on Jonah 3 - 11 years ago
Salvation is through faith alone, repenting of your evil ways often comes after salvation, it is the gift of God not of ourselves, lest any man should boast. Scripture cannot be broken, sirs what must I do to be saved? Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shall be saved, and thy house. Judas Iscariot repented of his evil ways he returned the silver feeling sorry for what he done knowing he had blood on his hands he then went on to hang himself, Judas went to hell. He repented but he did not believe on Jesus. Jesus knew this from the beginning. The grand deception is to have Christians believe that their works are what gets you saved and not your faith. For Grace are ye saved through faith. God bless.
  • Charis on 2 Maccabees 15 - 11 years ago
Raimundo, just because one verse doesn 't make sense to you, you are planning to throw away the whole book? What about passages like this in the Bible that you have And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. Genesis 6 6 And then you read this God is not a man, that he should lie neither the son of man, that he should repent hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? Numbers 23 19 If you don 't understand, then pray to the Most High Ahayah to give you understanding, because if you have this thinking, then you should throw the whole Bible away. Just because Jehovah is in the Bible, while I know in my research that "Jehovah " is "Jahbulon ", the God of the Masons, Lucifer called the Devil, does that mean I should throw away the Bible? Lol The Bible itself says that the scribes have manipulated the word of God for their own profits, but that doesn 't change the fact that the word of God is the will of God. Only the Most High can guide you in His word to understand fully what is written in the Good Book!
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on Genesis 1 - 11 years ago
Hello Gabriel I would like to add to my comment that I posted which I hope will come out today or tomorrow. God is going to burn this heaven and this earth up with a fervent heat. 2 Peter 3 12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Matthew 13 40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire so shall it be in the end of this world. Then Revelation 21 1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away and there was no more sea. In the very end, God is not going to redo this heaven and this Earth. He is going to burn up this heaven and this Earth and put a new one in their place. So whether or not we send people to Federal prison or just give them fines for abuse God is still going to destroy everything in the end.
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on Genesis 1 - 11 years ago
Hello Gabriel Are you referring to how society treats animals, as in abuse? I do not believe that animals should be abused. However, I do not think that they are on the level as human. If a person is caught abusing them they should not be handed a Federal indictment. A fine and or community work is sufficient. We are to be good stewards over the things that God has given us dominion over. Does this mean that we cannot kill them for food and clothing? The answer is no. Those people who view animals on the level of human need to understand that animals have no souls. In Genesis 2 7, Adam was the one that God breathe in his nostrils the breath of life and he became a living soul. When Noah built the Ark and the animals and the Noah, his wife, and their three sons and their son s wives entered the Ark the scripture states that only 8 souls were saved. This scripture is significant because it denotes the fact that God recognized the humans with souls and the animals did not have souls. If animals had souls then God would have had it written that every soul in the Ark was saved instead of distinguishing that only 8 were saved. 1 Peter 3 20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.
  • Jack Rosenthal on Matthew 5:42 - 11 years ago
Is there anyone at all who follows the dictates of Matthew 5 42? Even Christians who believe that all the statements of Jesus are the inerrant word of God do not even try to follow it they do not believe it they claim it doesn 't mean what it appears to mean.
  • Mark on John 1 - 11 years ago
Do you mean that Jesus was in the beginning in the flesh? if so that would mean that the flesh would have been sacrificed twice, once to leave heaven and once here on earth.
