Hello Robert The water that is spoken of by Jesus in these scriptures are not talking about the birth water that we are in while being carried in our mother s womb. This water is the baptism that is spoken of in Acts 2 38. In John Chapter 3, Nicodemus already had asked the question, John 3 4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother s womb, and be born? Then Jesus answered Verses 5 thru 8. If you look at verse 6 Jesus made the distinction of what he was talking about, He said that which is born of flesh is flesh and that which is born of spirit is spirit. Flesh and blood will not enter into the kingdom of heaven this is why those who have taken on the name of Jesus Christ will be changed in the moment in the twinkling of an eye.

If i recall back in verse 32 paul said "and we declare unto you a glad tidings " the question here is that, have you heard the glad tidings or have you recieved the glag tidings?

This verse has been of great concern to me ever since I came across it. I am fully aware that it is not in God 's nature to make things that aren 't perfect, but here is the sentence "Is it not I, the Lord? " Which would appear to have God admitting that He makes people with infirmities on a whim. I believe this is where the idea that God gives out this sort of condition to teach people things. For someone such as myself, who believes in a perfect God, full of love and grace, I am aware that there must be a deep theological explanation to this statement, but as yet I haven 't come across a satisfactory one, and I 'm keen to find it. I really want to get to the bottom of this, so that I might have answers when talking to people. It does not effect my relationship with Him, but to be able to explain that point to others would be a great help to me.

The choice they made to sell all they had and split it throughout the people was a good thing. They continued and praise the Lord. I remember when churches used to have dinners and support people in need. Some are still able to do this, but others are not, because people have lost their jobs and have little to no income. However, when their worship was over they went their separate ways teaching and preaching the gossip. Just think if all of those rich people who call themselves Christians would sell all they have or share what they have equally, like they did back then, there would not be anyone in need. Remember having a choice and being required to do something is different. I do not have anything to really sell and share, however what I do is pay my tithes and offering this is the only thing that God requires man to do. It seems that even though many hold these verses to be the or a cornerstone for the rapture, dialogue with other Bible scholars do not bring up the "rapture " in their discourse. Adam Clark 1825 states "The meaning seems to be, that so general should these calamities be, that no two persons ... should both be able to effect their escape and that captivity and the sword should have a complete triumph over this unhappy people. " No where in Clarks commentary does he say, "This is the lift off of the saints before Christs ' second coming. " So what are we to know, is there a "rapture " or is there not? I am still looking.

So let me ask you this question, why would God, who is a jealous God, create another God so that people can worship him? Exodus 34 14 For thou shalt worship no other god for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God And in Revelation 1 8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. So I ask you who is to come? Jesus Christ who is God manifested in the flesh. He is both Lord and Christ. It is a mystery but he is God, 1 Timothy 3 16.

Hello Mabel You know the story of Jesus Christ being in the wilderness and being tempted by Satan? There was only two beings in that scenario, one was Jesus Christ and the other was Satan. Is this correct? Matthew 4 7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God . Another witness to this is found in Luke 4 12. In both of these scriptures Jesus Christ is acknowledging his deity. If I can say it like this, Jesus was telling Satan you cannot tempt me I am God. If you read in John 14 8 9 to sum theses scriptures up, Philip ask Jesus Christ to shew us the Father, Jesus Christ out of his own mouth once again acknowledged that he was the Father. In the end, there is no three separate beings in which to worship there is only one. It is a mystery but it is only one being that holds all three positions and his name is Jesus Christ.

Rom 10 9 10 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. It seems that He raised Himself from the dead is that how you would interpret the scripture? Wouldn 't it better read and believe in your heart that He raised Himself from the dead rather than the use of the word God?

Hi Mabel thanks for your reply, Do you think Jesus Christ is like the devil? The devil was kicked out of heaven because he wanted the praise and worship directed to him. Jesus on a number of occasions was worshiped as God e.g. John 9 37 38 Jesus said to him. You have both seen Him and it is He who is talking with you. 38 Then he said, Lord, I believe! And he worshiped Him. " Jesus doesn 't correct him accepting the worship. How do you think the almighty God feels about that? Your argument while sounding impressive about pronouns is flawed in the light of other passages of scripture. If Jesus was sinless as the bible says if He accepted the worship and wasn 't God then He was a liar. Which He isn 't.

Part 1 Those of you who get your plan of salvation out of Acts 2, be careful to rightly divide your Bible. The literal Kingdom is still being offered to the Jews until the rejection in Acts 7. Why dont you sell all you have like they did in vs 43 and 44? They were expecting the literal Kingdom to be set up see Acts 1 verse 6.

Hello Colin Lambert and Mark When you speak of the trinity, if I understand correctly you believe that there is three separate beings in the godhead, there is not. Jesus does not dwell in the godhead with three other beings. In Jesus Christ all the fullness of the godhead bodily dwells in him. The scripture states the following Colossians 2 9 For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily . There are no three separate beings. Jesus Christ is God manifested in the flesh. John 1 1 states that the Word was God. John 1 3 states all things were made by him. John 1 10 states that He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not . John 1 14 states that the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld his glory . You have to ask yourself, who was made flesh? Who created the world? Who walked among them? The answer is Jesus Christ. There is only one being who holds all three offices. The scripture that I gave you even states the obvious, 1 Timothy 3 16. A part of that states God manifest in the flesh. You have to ask yourself, who was manifested in the flesh? The answer is Jesus Christ. In the end, I do not believe in the trinity meaning that there are three separate beings in the godhead. However, I do believe that Jesus Christ was God manifested in the flesh and dwelt among men and we beheld his glory. I do believe that the Holy Ghost name is Jesus Christ John 14 26.

We are left to examine what the bible does reveal about God 's word. unfortunately there are many of us who does not agree as to what the bible does reveal, I personally would love to agree that Jesus is the son of God and that he died for our sins, why did Jesus exist to be a sacrifice or a manifestation of God. please help me to understand what is the truth. It isn 't really a matter of having an open mind as much as what does God say in His word. If God in eternity is a three part person as One God and that is what the bible reveals then that is what it is. Why is this a scary concept? The word Jesus was with God His Father and the Holy Spirit in the beginning not only that the word Jesus was God. To me the scripture is clear. If you can accept that you are a three part person and are made in the image of God, why does it seem strange that God also isn 't a three part God? Not three God 's but co equal and co eternal.

1 John 5 7 is truly the most maligned verse by cults and other religions. A Muslim dies, believes that if he has been sufficiently good will go to heaven. He therefore believes that he is at least a two part being. A body and something that goes to heaven. He must believe that he receives a glorified body because if he has been martyred he will receive sixty virgins. If the Muslim believes he is at least a two part being then why does He struggle that One God can live in relationship as three beings? Trinity is only a descriptive term used to define 1 John 5 7

Hi Chatuana, Are you saying you don 't believe in the trinity? Did God leave heaven to the angels when He came in the flesh? At the baptism of Jesus did God leave a recording in heaven before He became flesh, left a mannequin in the water to be baptised and then zipped back to heaven to descend in the form of the Holy Spirit? This chapter is teaching the law of Moses not the law of Jesus. 17 For a testament is of force after men are dead otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth. WHAT? Jesus taught the words of God that have no truth unless you are dead, do you believe that? Love and Peace mean nothing while people are alive, can that be truth? Open your eyes. Jesus does not want his followers to believe in blood sacrifice. Blood sacrifice is demonic. Jesus sat at Jacobs well and said that those that drink of that water shall always thirst. Jacob is Israel. Israel believes in blood sacrifice, the Passover blood. Israel killed Jesus the true word of God and they want him to stay dead. People that want to believe the death of Jesus saved them are doing it for their own selfish motivation. THEY ARE NO DIFFERENT THAN THE JEWS THAT HAD JESUS NAILED TO THE CROSS. They want the DEATH of Jesus. They want the death of pure love. To be in the body of Jesus one must be love. Love does not want the death of Jesus. It was mentioned, John 3. 5 it says no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. That water is NOT from the teachings of Moses, Jacobs well. It is the words of God from Jesus, his water not his blood, that will save you.
