  • Jody on Malachi 3:10 - 11 years ago
I remember when I was a little girl we would store all our caned veggies in the cellar which could mean store house. So all through the winter we would have enough food in our house. well as a church we could do the same thing to feed the people but we rely on the world to do this now as a nation we are cursed with a curse cause so many people are starving because we don 't do the things we used to do. Malachi 3 9 Ye are cursed with a curse for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. Go back to verse 8 and it asks us wherein have we robbed thee? That is not talking just about money. Go down to Malachi 15 it talks about those have worked wickedness even they who do that can be delivered if you come back to him and do the thing that you did when you were when you served the Lord God in heaven he is the only one that we should serve. when we give all of ourselves and tithes and offerings to the Lord God only then all his blessing will be poured out and our minds can not even comprehend how much that would be cause we have lived to our worldly ways for so long! If we do just support our churches with 10 money dose that really fix things to where he will pore out his blessings on us? I do not think it dose.

Is there any place in the bible where women are regarded as daughters of God? In acknowledging the position Man occupies in the hierarchy of creation, he is Called Son of God. while woman that was form from the man, is described as daughters of men. Angels have never been described as son of God. for unto which of the angels saith he at any time, thou art my son? the angels are created as servants or ministering spirit and have no male or female organ. man is created as son, Lk 3.38
  • Sarita on 1 Peter 2:1 - 11 years ago
I think God is amazing! My summary of 1Peter 2 1 "Stop all this evil nonsense ". Ever thought of this..? What if the devil was God. We would have to do horrible, unspeakable things. How fortunate we are to have such a loving, kind, thoughtful, patient, forgiving Heavenly Father. He just wants us to LOVE. Love Him and love others. Yes, amazing He is.
  • Irvin T Tshili on Matthew 2 - 11 years ago
what do the gifts represent in verse 11?
  • Johntae on Genesis 1 - 11 years ago
    When was this source created?
  • Rev. Autrey on Hebrews 1 - 11 years ago
Verses 8 12 8 But about the Son he says, "Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever, and righteousness will be the scepter of your kingdom. 9 You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy or by making you Christ . " 10 He also says, "In the beginning, O Lord, you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands. 11 They will perish, but you remain they will all wear out like a garment. 12 You will roll them up like a robe like a garment they will be changed. But you remain the same, and your years will never end. " This is Jesus talking about himself, or himself when he is born on earth as a human. Notice that he calls himself both God and Lord, or Lord God. This is unmistakable proof that Jesus is God. What more evidence do we need? That 's why the four books of the Gosple are about Jesus. We see this in the writings of Paul, too. We also see this in the Book of Revelation. It 's so sad that the world has lost sight of this wonderful truth. If they knew it that would not be so quick to dishonor Jesus. And they surely would not have killed him when he was here. But you may say, what about the Father? The Father is God 's other personality, the way God directs his affairs. But in all cases, Jesus is the way God speaks to us, and the way he died on the cross for us. God bless you!

Why is it so difficult to transfer our belief system to our children? It seems like they want to be defiant from the beginning. Our loved ones are the closest to our hearts, and yet they are the fartherest away!!! Why do you think this is true?
  • Bob on 1 Thessalonians 5:3 - 11 years ago
Mathew are you serious? This is about the last days. Its a general reference to the state of mind that Mankind will have. They will feel at ease, like it says and they will be eating and drinking and giving in marriage. Its only stating that people will have basically forgotten about God. Just when they think, where is this God of yours , where is the promise of his coming? IT has NOTHING to do with the character of King Arthur! sheesh How in the world you could ever come up with that idea I surely do not know. This is the state of mind our world is in at this moment. I looked this up only because there will be covenant made with Israel for seven years of peace and who but the pope is visiting with Israeli and Palestinian leaders this very weekend. Will this be the very covenant to bring in the beginning tribulation period? If not I think its right around the corner with all that is going on. Russia and China are getting all cozy together. Russia is pushing its limits again. And the U.S. ? We are right in the middle of all kinds of things.
  • Simon on Hebrews 4 - 11 years ago
To enter into his Rest is to Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy Exodus 20 8. Hebrews 4 4 9 4And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest. 6Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief 7Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts. 8For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day. 9There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. Harden not your hearts for Jesus did kept the 7th day sabbath and since we all claim to love him we should not harden our hearts but follow him. John 14 15 Jesus said, "If you love me keep my commandments " Please people of this world stop saying and start following. Matthew 7 21 "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord, ' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Roman 7 7 7What shall we say then? Is the Law sin? May it never be! On the contrary, I would not have come to know sin except through the Law for I would not have known about coveting if the Law had not said, "YOU SHALL NOT COVET. " God wrote it with his finger that makes it special.. Love the written word literally because God Loves us Jesus is all the world to me my life my joy my all he is my friend from day to day without him I am lost Thank you Jesus
  • Rev. Autrey on Matthew 11 - 11 years ago
Verse 28 "Then Jesus said, 'Come to me, all you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. ' " Let 's get to the point Jesus is making. You can 't come to Jesus unless you talk to him in prayer. And you can 't pray to him unless he is God. Jesus is God and always has been. We just have not been taught this. And that is a shame. God talks to us like this. "Hi! I 'd like to say good morning to you. I am Jesus. The Father sends his greetings, too. " And when we ask Jesus to show us the Father, he says, "When you see me you see the Father who sent me, " meaning that the Father and Jesus are the same God. And Jesus finishes his greetings by saying, "By the way, the Holy Spirit sends his greetings, too, " meaning the Holy Spirit is the same God the Father and Jesus are. " That is why Jesus said to Nicodemus, 'You are a respected Jewish teacher and yet you don 't understand these things? I assure you, I am telling you what WE know and have seen, and yet you won 't believe US. " The WE and the US are Jesus, the Father, and the Holy Spirit, all three personalities of the same God. I hope this helps us better understand God!

  • Toni on 2 Corinthians 5:7 - 11 years ago
Faith is the key to Salvation. In order to please God, we must first believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11 6 Someone above asked the question "how do I build my faith? " It starts by falling down on our knees. Prayer is our connection to God through His dear Son Jesus. The more we bow down to Christ, the more He reveals Himself to us, and will baptize us with the Holy Ghost, which is the Spirit of Truth. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Romans 10 17 Read the word of God and pray. Faith is saying Lord, I don 't see you, but I know you are real. I 'm going to pray and read your Word, until you make yourself known to me. We have to diligently seek God, and when we show God we are sincere, He will reveal Himself to us. This isn 't done with the natural mind nor can be. God is a Spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in truth. John 4 24 Not what the eyes see, but what the heart believes. This is a faith walk.

No temptation or sin, can we always find a way of ESCAPE! I find I cant "always " find a way of escape, why is this? Would this be a normal weakness, as we all are sinners and fall short of the glory of God. Taking the scripture literally we could all be sin free! Blessings!!!

what happens to a Church people who cant get along?
  • Rev. Autrey on Isaiah 8:13 - 11 years ago
Verses 13 14 "Don 't fear anything except the Lord of the armies of heaven! If you fear him, you need fear nothing else. He will be your safety, but Israel and Judah have refused his care and thereby stumbled against the Rock of their salvation and lie fallen and crushed beneath it. " Paul in 1 Corinthians 10 4 identified the Lord, the Rock of their salvation, with Jesus "For they all drank from the miraculous Rock that traveled with them, and that Rock was Christ. " Was Paul wrong? I don 't thinks so. He was simply stating the amazing truth that was revealed to him the God of the Old Testament was Jesus. When we understand this truth, it opens up the Gospel to us as we never before understood it. It explains to us why Paul erndorsed the name Christians for us. And it also explains to us why Jesus came to us as a Jew, the son of Abraham and David. He is the same God they worshiped and loved, and the same God they put their faith in. Jesus caused people to stumble and fall because they don 't know who he is. What I am saying is, if they knew him as their God, and the Rock of their salvation, they wouldn 't wouldn 't be so easliy led astray from him as the Jews of old were. Yes, God has two other personalities, the Father and the Holy Spirit, but they are not the way God saves us. You must address God as Jesus to be saved. As it says in Romans 10 "13 "For 'Anyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. " Let 's pray to Jesus!
