  • Darrin Lofton on 1 Peter 1 - 11 years ago
The Word of the Lord endureth forever. Jesus said "My Words are Spirit ". When the elements all melt in a fervent heat the only thing that will remain is Spirit. What is Spirit? It is what we are not. We are flesh, God is a Spirit and those that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. He has given us a spirit, the eternal part of us from Him that will never die. This spirit will live eternally after this life ever connected to our soul. This spirit will be with God for eternity or be separated from God for eternity. The Word of God is sharper than any two edged sword able to divide asunder the soul from the spirit. The word cuts in between the soulish fleshly part of man and the spirit eternal part of man, and speaks to that spirit within us. Our spirit longs to return unto God, and it is eternal just as the Word of God is. Lord Jesus bless everyone who read this today with the knowledge of eternal Salvation through your spotless blood that was shed for us. Amen
  • Dewald on Bel and the Dragon 1 - 11 years ago
It is written The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be and that which is done is that which shall be done and there is no new thing under the sun Ecc 1 9. The dragon or beast or anything which is represented here is not anything new, dinosaurs did roam over the earth. In revelation 13 14 we read that people will once again do what is revealed in this chapter. In terms of Bel , who cares what the actual name was. People give nicknames or short names every day. In terms of it being in the Apocrypha, why would God have left it in the scriptures for 1800 years after Christ and only be omitted in the last 200? Not only that, but if your spiritual eyes open, then you ll see these kind of demonic beasts all the time God Bless you all.
  • Toni on Psalms 119:2 - 11 years ago
What is the key to finding the favor of God? Holding firm to God 's word. Whatever He has said in His Word, we are to believe and to do. The testimony God spoke from heaven is He has a beloved Son, in whom He is well pleased, and we are to hear Him. Jesus Christ is the Word of God manifested in the flesh. The only way to blessings is to seek Jesus with our whole hearts and to serve Him according to the will of God. We can 't serve the Lord halfheartedly. It is all or nothing with Him. If we are lukewarm, then He says He will spew us out.
  • Vincent on John 15:19 - 11 years ago
If he is talking about a nation of people then who in this world is hated the most or even back then who was hated the most?
  • Prophet-Leonard Barrett on Ephesians 4:11 - 11 years ago
I like this but you cannot remove a part of the foundation and except it to stand, JESUS the chief corner stone.will not please.Do you know what is a foundation if you know you will never try to removed it. Why do you think that JESUS be the chief corner stone? You must go my corner stone to step on the foundation and no one can. Matthew chapter 16 verses 18. I like this Ephesians 2 20. I like this Ben Weaver ' comment.
  • Thy word is truth on Acts 2 - 11 years ago
There is no salvation message in Acts 2. They said What must WE do? Not one person asked what must I do to be saved. There is no mention of the blood atonement in this chapter. There is no mention of Christ dying FOR sins. This is their second chance to receive their Messiah that they had rejected. That 's why Christ said on the cross, Father forgive them for they know not what they do. He did forgive them and as a nation they turned Him down again in Acts 7. He was STANDING on the right hand of the Father ready to come back if they would receive Him. They rejected Him and He continued on with the Gentiles and will until shortly He begins to deal with the Jews when the rapture happens. Acts 2 is not how were saved. Read 1 Corinthians 15 verses 1 through 4.
  • Jackie on Mark 11:14 - 11 years ago
What was the purpose of Jesus making the fig tree barren?
  • Chesterfield walrond on Revelation 7 - 11 years ago
Question?are all believers aka christians servants. Of God.it say in Rev7v3 The servants of God are sealed in their forehead. Ezek 9v4 is a parallel scripture from this you may conclude that the people who are praying against all the evil in the world are servants. Jesus also gave another example using servants.MaT25v14. Luke19v12
  • Avrahim Chesterfield on Hebrews 7 - 11 years ago
First of all, as per chapter 7 of Hebrews, we must establish who the writer was writing to. Jewish believers in Yeshua HaMashiach. What does Melchizedek 's name really mean? King of Salem? Where was Salem? Priest of God Most High? Was Melchizedek from the tribe of Levi? What about the tribe of Judah! Abraham blessed Melchizedek, just like a Abraham blessed the LORD in Genesis 18, 3 visitors, 2 angels, and one was Jesus Himself. What does Jesus or Yeshua 's name really mean? Read Jeremiah 23 5 6...the name of Yeshua is 'The Lord our righteousness ' our Lord is also our King, King of Salem, means King of peace, who is the King of peace, Yeshua,, see Isaiah 9 6 7. There is only one who could remain a priest forever, and that is Yeshua. He was the ultimate unblemished Lamb of God sacrifice and His blood was shed once and for all. The Levitical priesthood was not a perfect priesthood, though Jesus was from the tribe of Judah, Genesis 49 10 and because He is our High Priest, He is our one and only Moshiach...who was declared.... "you are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.... " The law could not make anything perfect, it was a shadow of the coming of the Messiah. Does God ever change His mind? No, see Hebrews 7 21... "The Lord has sworn and will not change His mind you are a priest forever....vs 22...because of this oath, Yeshua has become the guarantee of a better covenant. Vs 24 is the clincher.... "but because Yeshua lives for ever, He has a permanent priesthood vs 25 therefore He is able to SAVE COMPLETELY those who come to God through Him, because He always lives to intercede for them......So, who is Melchizedek? What was His purpose on this earth? What does He really stand for? What can we learn from Hebrew 7? Vs 27.....HE SACRIFICED FOR THEIR SINS ONCE FOR ALL WHEN HE OFFERED HIMSELF......WHO is perfect? Only one and only, Yeshua!
  • Beka on Matthew 7:13 - 11 years ago
What does this mean though? I at first thought Jesus was refering to Himself the gate to heaven and the sheep fold but it seems to be preceded by descriptions of actions, like beware false profits. I am really confused?
  • Liz on Acts 2 - 11 years ago
Do all things in the name of Jesus. Baptize in the name of the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit is the name of Jesus. God is a jealous God so if he is not Jesus then why would he say do all things in the name of Jesus? Why would he say that all power in Heaven and on earth is givin to Jesus? Would a jealous person want all glory to go to someone other than himself? Thou shalt have NO other Gods before me. Think on that.
  • Julie on Philippians 3:2 - 11 years ago
so, how do we apply this warning today? i see that in protestant churches, circumcision is replaced, disguised, as "formal membership ", or covenanting with a certain body of saints. it is a kind of cutting away, member nonmember. the nonmembers refusing to put any confidence in the flesh, even giving up the privileges attached to membership, to remain in the truth that it is christ who has made us members by the spirit, and there is no higher degree of membership to consign oneself to. but rather, faith expressed thru love.
  • Jeanne on Ephesians 2:8 - 11 years ago
Whereas Calvinists will tell you that God ALONE is responsible for salvation and condemnation, in John 1 9 God says the true Light hath lightened every man that cometh into the world. Why? To make man and not God responsible for accepting or rejecting that Light, the grace God gives every man. Otherwise, the God of the Bible would be an unjust God indeed. But we know he 's not by the laws he gave for just judgment. Just look them up. Calvinism makes a mockery of God 's judgment of individuals. Don 't forget that Calvinists make themselves 'the chosen '... 'the elect ' of God...not God. And as for Eph 2 8,9, it is by God 's grace that man 's faith saves him. God and man working together...and not God ALONE. Don 't believe everything Calvinists tell you. Just because they preface every sentence with "God is Sovereign " doesn 't mean they 're telling you the truth. They 're as subtile as the deceiver in the Garden.
  • EveralSamuel on Genesis 3 - 11 years ago
beautiful. I enjoyed verse 15 that placed the son of man in the future to challenge lucifer. But, if the devil knew this in the beginning, why did he had Judas sell out the son of man? Did YHW tricked the devil into introducing GRACE on earth.
  • Jason wilson on Acts 2:38 - 11 years ago
If peter was wrong on the day of pentecost wouldnt the other disciples have corrected him?i think they would have!so how many times can you find where the trinity formula was used in the new testament? How many times can you find where acts 2 38 was obeyed?
  • Victoria onwuegbu on Matthew 20:18 - 11 years ago
Im speaking on a topic that says "NOT ME ' and the text is taken from Matthew 20 18. It was written in the old testament before Jesus was born. The book of Isaiah 53 says it all but, who will be the instrument to be used for other people 's destruction or downfall? It is happening in Nigeria and in the world today. People are being used to destroy other people 's joy and happiness just like Judas was used to betray Jesus. Everything that is happening in the world today had been written and it must surely come to pass but, who will be used to accomplish negative things definitely "NOT ME '
  • Innocent on Isaiah 43:26 - 11 years ago
It is very powerful and gives assurance of the presence of our resurrected Lord and savior. If we re to put God in remembrance, does it means God can forget???
  • Ayomide on Isaiah 60 - 11 years ago
The exposition of Isaiah 60 is a revelation of the latter glory that is incomparable with any form of affliction that we have passed through. God is affirmative that our weeping will only endure for a night, and promised us a glorious dawn. It further goes to state that the years that the cankerworm had eaten will be restored. The reference to this glory is described through the accolades that would be meted to us by strangers and their kings. The desolation of our lives is likened to the broken wall of Jerusalam, however, would be built by those who have mocked us in time past. More importantly, we are admonished that God always prepare us for glory, distinction and blessings through tribulations and afflictions. No wonder Apostle Paul said, "what shall separate us from the love of Christ?, is it tribulations, poverty, sickness or persecution, but we are more than conqueror ". Finally, the chapter revealed God as the master porter for our lives in the face of all challenges, turmoil, tempests, billows or tornadoes, to us the expected end, I mean the good end in our heavenly home above, On the one hand, the chapter affirms that the physical satisfaction of all our hearts desires and delights would be met. and on the other hand, the description of the glory to be revealed is a retrospection about the street that is paved with gold, where their will be no more weeping nor sorrow A place of enormous and divine tranquillity, this is a far more glorious benefits from the saviour ad the redeemer. We have absolute assurance that God is ours. Has God not promised to be with us in whatever situation in Isaiah 45 verses 1 5? Remain blessed, Shalom!

  • Julia on Matthew 5:4 - 11 years ago
I had never before applied this passage to anything but the death of a loved one, or the horrors and sad results of living in a fallen world. When my small family and I moved away from close friends, one of them said " I am blessed because Jesus said, blessed are they that mourn. " I asked her if she had lost someone in her family that I hadn 't heard about. She said, I am about to lose you! Could it be that he will comfort loss of any and all kinds. Loss of a friendship? Of a beloved animal? Of an activity or station in life that has or will soon change? That thought was eye opening to me. I have a beautiful strong 23 year old daughter. When she chose to break up with a high school boyfriend, his tender heart was hurt. She mourned for him. "I never want to hurt anyone like that! "When her best friend moved to Hawaii, they mourned. Now another mourning due to fear. Another breakup as one of little faith believes it is more likely that they will not survive a relationship while he attends school from out of state, he decides to remove any relationship strings from her. That way, in a year or so, they won 't have to break up! Really?! Well, I have asked that the Lord God guide her relationships and cause her to grow in a multiplicity of areas in ways that are for her benefit. Lord please use this unhappy time for the good of your little girl, my 'Rosebud '!
  • Paul Torjussen on Ezekiel 1 - 11 years ago
My tablet translates what your translations read as "expressly " with the phrase "once upon a time, " or so it seems. Can you name an English translation of the Bible using this phrase at Ezekiel 1 3?
  • Quintin on 1 John 2:15 - 11 years ago
Can we love our wives? I know we must love our wives but I suppose should never put even our wives above the Lord.
  • Candy on 1 Corinthians 14:35 - 11 years ago
I take it completely literal. I think women are to be quiet, not say a word in church and especially not teach men. They can teach younger women titus 2 however. In the Bible times women were to be quiet, there were no choirs. They probably sang. It doesnt say not to sing, it says not to teach over men and to be quiet in church. Whats the problem? Its better that way anyway. Im a modern day woman, evangelical, where we have many women pastors mainly as children church pastors , but i dont agree with my church on this and that is fine. I like men to be the head of the home, over the wife not talking controlling and i like men to preach and teach. Women can sit back and enjoy. Nothin wrong with that. I dont know why so many WANT women to preach teach! Sounds so feminist to me. Just my opinion
  • Scott on Leviticus 19:28 - 11 years ago
In my experience 'The Levitical Law ' was written to help us. I have many times found an answer, simply by asking "Why would God say that? " In this case just Google 'health issues with tattoos ' for several possible answers. Through Christ, I have been freed from the Law, that does not, however, mean that I 'm freed from the consequence. When God says don 't do it, it 's usually for your own good. I don 't believe He will condemn you for having a tat, but I am sure that He did not plan for you to die at 22 from a blood infection.
  • Aliveinchrist on Romans 6 - 11 years ago

  • Toni on Romans 6:23 - 11 years ago
God gives us two roads life and death Deuteronomy 30 19 . If we reject Jesus and choose to walk in the pathway of unrighteousness, then the payment is death. God says why die before your time? Sin is sending people to an early grave and robbing people of true joy and peace. But then, after the physical death, will be that eternal death which is in hell. But, those who choose the right road, the road of Jesus Christ, who is the way, the truth and the liffe, they will experience joy unspeakable, full of glory. Life will be joyous and peaceful when we walk with the Lord. Then, after this life is over, we are guaranteed eternal salvation to be with God forever and ever. Amen
