I understand and accept what the word says and I'm not trying to misinterpret but what can be said about women singing in the church or music leaders? Is that considered as usurping mans authority ?
  • Jalloh on John 14 - 12 years ago
John 14:28 Is it Jesus saying that his father is greater than him?
  • John on John 21:15 - 12 years ago
Did the "more than these" verse follow the draught of fishes? Peter was a fisherman ... perhaps Jesus when he said "do you love me more than these?" might have meant "do you love me more than these fishes that you have just hauled in?". Peter was to be a fisher of men - so Jesus told him "feed my lambs", his new life work. I don't know Greek, and I could be wrong, but at least the verse does help me to remember my calling as a Christian.

Yes they are ''ministering spirits''...now most people are struggling to know if we have authority over angels.Well Jesus once said ''I am giving you authority over all spirits''...do you think, after that statement, that our authority is only limited to the authority over evil spirits?...i need an answer please.

  • Faithfull on Revelation 18:4 - 12 years ago
And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues

Revelation 18:4 is talking to the true church of Christ, the

Methodists, Presbyterians, Baptists, Lutherans, Episcopal, Nazarenes,Cleveland" Church of God groups: Church of God of Prophecy, Church of God, Zion Assembly Church of God, Jerusalem Acres-Church of God of the Nations, and The Church of God,Wesley Pentecostal,Huss, Luther, Wesley, Zwingli, Calvin,Mormonism, Jehovah Witnesses, Adventists, Scientology, and various Catholic or and other church claiming Jesus as the Christ.

Understand the these church buildings and their membership is not the true church of God, but only them who believe Jesus is The Christ, then washed their sins in the blood of the Lamb of God, then acknowledged receiving the Holy Sprit of God, and do not blasphemy the Holy Ghost (to think to sin) is blasphemy to the Holy Ghost and should the so much as think to sin they hold back not to make amends to the Holy Ghost welcoming The Holy Ghost to return.

Him with understanding understand: all who teach rapture doctrine and all who believe Rapture doctrine will not come out of her and will partake of her sins.
It stands to reason why would anyone leave when God himself is going to take you away from the terrible day? So he who loves husband or wife sister of brother or the things of this world more than Jesus is not worthy of the rewards of Jesus. Remember Lots wife and how she looked back.

I don't think the number of stones is as important as the choosing. Being smooth and round, they were the most perfect projectile, and in David’s practiced hand the most deadly. My question to myself is "what spiritual weaponry am I choosing to practice with daily, with the help of the Lord, that I might be better prepared to defeat my enemy, Satan?
  • Samuel on Revelation 1 - 12 years ago
There are 8 planets and many moons in our solar system alone, not to mention billions others in the milky way galaxy and other galaxies but the Bible only mentioned the creation of earth and heaven. How about the rest of the universe and everything else that is out there? Thanks

John 14:7"If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him." 8Philip said to Him, "Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us." 9Jesus said to him, "Have I been so long with you, and yet you have not come to know ME, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; how can you say, 'Show us the Father '?… Also in Matthew 28:18-19 it says 18And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to ME in heaven and on earth. 19"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit," All authority is given to Jesus. When Philip seen Him, He saw the Father. John 17:6 says 6"I have manifested Your name to the men whom You gave Me out of the world; they were Yours and You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word. What is the Father's name? He is the same God who dwelt among us in the flesh.

  • King James Bible on John 3 - 12 years ago
"Chaz could I share some Bible(KJB) with you? Acts 2:38 couldn't save a tadpole. The theif died under the N.T. Check the Bible not your pentecostal preacher. ( John 19:33) But when they came to Jesus, and saw that He was DEAD ALREADY, thy brake not His legs: Jesus died before the theif my friend. You say so what. Ok. ( Heb 9:17) For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth. See he died under the N.T. Uh oh. Now look at the context of John 3. Water baptism isn't even mentioned. The first birth is always water ( Gen 1:20, Pr 5:16-18, Isa 48:1). Nothing like a King James Bible to clear up false doctrine. Check ( Acts 2:38). It is a bunch of Jews (verses 5,14,22,36) in the chapter that require a sign ( 1Cor 1:22). And if you get arrested for stealing, is it in order to get stealing, or because you had already stolen. Pray about that and see what you think. Amen."

Vs 24 says all this info and knowledge was evident because the 'fathers' had been talking about it since the beginning. Question: Paul says his teachings were never known before his (Paul's)revelations. This is not a contradiction. Paul is not given enough time in our bible studies. Chances are we don't really have a grasp on Christianity 101. Here's another q: Luke 9 says the apostles were out preaching the gospel. In Luke 18 the apostles 'knew nothing' about the upcoming Crucifixion.('it was hid from them') How could the apostles present the gospel if Paul says in 1 Cor 15:1-4 that the gospel for us is believe in the resurrection?....Read carefully the doxology at the end of Romans....We are to follow Jesus Christ ACCORDING TO THE REVELATION TO PAUL.(Gal. chapters 1 and 2)..not the 12. Paul says it's 'given to me to you-ward'. Christianity for us lives in Paul's letters. All else in the NT is Law.
  • Brianna on Genesis 1:1 - 12 years ago
I truly appreciate this scripture as it sheds light on the actual time it took to create. The heavens and the earth were already created and were not apart of the creative days. Who knows how long it took for the Heavens and earth to be formed? So It was interesting to note that chapter 1 verse 1 is not apart f the creative days, the heavens and earth, as a base, was already created at this point. FASCINATING!!!!

  • Karen on Genesis 4:17 - 12 years ago
This passage of the Bible has always bothered me. I read Trent's comment posted on 2010-01-13 and the Bible only mentions 4 people in existence. Was is possible as Trent suggested that the only way Cain knew his wife were from his mother? Or did Eve have daughters that were not mentioned in the Bible and the off springs moved to the Land of Nod? If the Lord God did create others, why were they not mentioned? This has always made me wonder, if more than one Adam and Eve were created and if so, why weren't they included? Thank you for taking the time to read this and hopefully someone will provide an answer.

Ity is in my opinion that Lot's wife may have fact been gay herself. Some may disagree with this. The fact of the matter in this the 2 daughters that stayed behind, not "LEFT" behind had a choice to leave. The scripture does mentioned they (The 2 daughters)were married. Which also suggest that although the 2 were married, why didn't their husband take heed in leaving town with their wives? I tend to think they, (lot's daughters and son-in-laws, may have have been involved to the same sex practise. As far as Lot's wife, I don't think she looked back because what was going on as far as the noise of the brimstones distroying the city. She was told NOT to look back! It's possible that she too may have been caught up in that lifestyle. In chapter 18, Abraham pleaded with GOD not to distroy the city if he could find a number of rightouse people. From 50 people on down, he could not find, not 1 rightouse person. If Lot was rightous, according to the request of Abraham, the city would not been distroyed. With that in mind, that could explain why the 2 younger daughters had sex with thier father. They were not rightous. The 2 daughts decided to keep the family going by having sex with father. So far as being rightous, there was none rightous. I think Lot's wife was secretly gay or Lot knew about it but assumed that she would change if she was in a different environment.

  • Lionel on Malachi 1:3 - 12 years ago
You would have to know the character of this individual. Esau hated his birthright and God knew it. Esau only thought of himself. He didn't care about what the Father cared about. Flesh was his problem. What would you sell your birthright for or your soul? Your heritage is eternal life through Christ Jesus.
