We cannot focus if our minds ,hearts, and souls, are not seeking him. We are or become void meaning empty inside.
The reason being that when the Midians Camel train had passed the pit, into which he had been thrown, having pulled Joseph out ,thought he was a slave, and they stole him.When that same camel train passed the brothers, who were sitting not far away,were stopped by the brothers and they demanded to know what the Midiams were doing with the "young man" they replide that they had fond this slave.The brothers on the other hand did not deny that fact and promptly sold him for a meager price. Now the fact that the brothers did not demand the return of their brother, gave weight to the Midians calling Joseph a slave. This was a lie and in keeping quiet and not righting a wrong was the second theft ( in hebrew this is steeling of knowledge/truth)

The enemy of man is sin. It has always been our enemy. This means that David is talking about God as Jesus, who saves us from sin by his death on the cross. Let's say it this way. David was a prophet looking into the future and seeing Jesus as our Savior. He saw Jesus as Paul saw him in Titus 2:13, "Our great God and Savior." And he pictured what Jesus would say in John 6:39, "But the Scriptures point to me."
Jesus further said to two of his followers in Luke 24:25-26, "You are such foolish people! You find it so hard to believe all that the prophets wrote in the Scriptures. Wasn't it clearly predicted by the prophets that the Christ would have to suffer all these things before entering his time of glory?" Verse 27 reads: "Then Jesus quoted passages from the writings in Moses and all the prophets, explaining what all the Scriptures said about himself."
Yes, the Psalms are about Jesus!
God blesses those who understand!
Let’s take a closer look at what Mathew 2:2 says.
“Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.
We know the wise men came from the east from verse 1. Now focus on the portion of verse 2 that says “for we have seen his star in the east”. The “in the east” portion is referring to the “we” and not “his star”. It’s like saying, we in the east have seen his star. You’re right, the star was to their west. I believe the author was just trying to focus our attention on where the wise men came from. The east.
One posting on a Christian forum I read where the writer says
Daniel 9:26 (KJV) and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary;
This has an interesting statement that this prince is not Jesus but a prince of the temple to come ? For Jesus was no prince of the romans as i read that often this section of scripture is related they say to Christs first coming... to me at a quick glance this could be the coming evil man of perdition
The number 2 priority is God's Kingdom. Jesus spoke often about that Kingdom and what it would accomplish. Do we speak about God's Kingdom? Jesus is the pattern, or example we should follow. Jesus expected to be made King of that Kingdom, so logically, it can't be just a condition of our heart. After putting God's name and the Kingdom first, then we were to pray for our needs, and those of others.
