  • Lorie hudson on 3 John 1:2 - 12 years ago
I have no doubt that we would be undermining the huge cost that Christ paid to think that it was payment for anything less than "ALL" and All means ALL-He paid to purchase back everthing that was forfeited at the fall-now it is our responsibility to TAKE it back-How? We walk by Faith not by sight-the moment His promise is sown in our hearts the enemy makes every attempt to steal that good seed. Grace is the soil in which the seed grows-we don't earn what has been already provided we TAKE IT! by faith-it is a gift. Every blessing is a gift-lest any man should boast. The enemy uses guilt, condemnation, distraction, the cares of this world and anything he can to steal the seed. It is our responsibility to guard our heart/seed from all the above-after doing all to stand therefore-STAND!Don't give up-don't forfeit His promise to you of health/prosperity/blessing-Fight the good fight of Faith
  • Christy on 1 Corinthians 2:14 - 12 years ago
This verse is one of so many which exhibits the timeliness of what untold numbers of people regard as antiquated writings. I am in utter awe how a gracious God has given us His truth, yet how many even realize that, much less attempt to live by it? Oh, how I vividly remember myself as that 'natural man'. I followed the things of satan, therefore anything of God was foolishness to me. Thanks be to God twenty-three years ago, I accepted His free gift of salvation. My life has not been the same since and words cannot express my gratitude to Him for rescuing me- not only from myself as I lived this earthly life given to sin, but from an eternity in hell. I vividly remember as well when I knew and understood that I had spiritual discernment- a whole new world had opened up to me because of a Book- my King James Bible. Now, as I attempt to witness to my two adult brothers who are lost, I see my 'old man' in them- the things I speak are foolishness to them. What is even worse, people who call themselves Christians will debate with me over truths of the Bible, defending the world's view instead of God's. What a sad day we live in, but thankfully we have His promise that His word will not return to Him void.
  • Gloria on 2 Kings 17:38 - 12 years ago
The fear of God is the begining of widsom. therefore,I will remember the promises He made with me.For fear of the enemy, people and things, we are often immoblized; because too often we forget or take for granted whose we are and who we are in Christ Jesus. The 39 verse states It is He who delivers us from all our enemies! Praise God, we are more than conquerors thuough Him that loves us.The Lord is the strength of my life whom shall we fear or whom shall we be afraid? When we are confronted with such trials and fears we must remember the coventant He made with us. He absolutely awesome in His doing. He always come through for us. David said that when my enemies came upon me they stumbled and fell. So, dont look back the enemy will not catch you because God stands between you and him to protect you from yhe hands of the enemy. Praise God!
  • Joanna on Genesis 13 - 12 years ago
In Genesis 13:15 God says he will give all the land Abram sees to his seed forever...and words to that effect in the surrounding verses. Abrams seed includes Ishmeal and Isaac. Does this not mean that both the jewish poeples (descendants of isaac) and the Arabic (descendents of Ishmael) shall inherit the land. Not only the Jews? Thank you.

  • Createams on Nehemiah 1 - 12 years ago
This book is believed to be about a man Nehemiah and his love for God. Pay attention to what you read here; this is a book about the lengths’ that men will go to, in building walls and too separate ourselves from those whose opinion may differ from mine. This is an endless and hopeless endeavor to have God all to myself. This is what Satan wants to have God all to himself. Remember Job 1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them. Nehemiah’s love for God is unquestionable; yet Nehemiah doesn’t understand what true love for God is when compared to Satan. Satan is the embodiment of evil the Father of all lies (Satan came also among them) because in him is the perfection of Fear, Love, and Respect for God. So until we as men understand that it is our differences that make us whole in God we can never truly know what Love is.
Job 1:8 And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?
1 John 4:12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
1 John 4:21 And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also
This was John’s understanding Christ Jesus Doctrine.
  • Travis on Zechariah 14:8 - 12 years ago
Did not this happen when Christ died and rose again and went to heaven.....?? These waters are still healing and saving lives today, without intermission and it will never dry away until the day He returns to take the Church to God. ???

  • Sonya on Joshua 1 - 12 years ago
I counted four times Joshua was told to be strong and of a good courage in this one chapter. Lesson I Learnt? Leaders have to be strong and courageous
  • Createams on Mark 13 - 12 years ago
Shadrack St. Mark 9:7 And there was a cloud that overshadowed them: and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him. We as men flesh and bone what joy can a father have more than the time he spends teaching his son?
St. John 17:5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.(before the world was) This is an eternal relationship between a Father and his Son and for this very reason Jesus Christ is the Son; the Word of God.
St. Matt 7:29 For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.
Josh. 5:15 And the captain of the LORD'S host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so. This is the Holy Ghost
St. Mark 13:11 But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.
The Godhead is one purpose, one mind; but I believe this is what separates the Father the Way of God, which he teaches too his Son the Word of God, and the Holy Ghost who fulfills the Will of God.
Mark 13:32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
Rev. 5:1 And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.
Rev. 5:5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
Rev. 5:7 And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.
  • Glen on Isaiah 45 - 12 years ago
Verses 5-6 are the essence of this chapter. They set the absolute statement of Truth. The chapter can be problematical if we read verse 7 (and on) just like verses 5-6 because the absolute truth of 5-6 cannot be expressed in worldly or relative terms. For example, did God create darkness? This is absurd because darkness is actually nothing but the absence of light. The things which appear in the world that God did not create are the errors we create in our own thoughts. As we understand the simple point that God is All and God is Good the relative or worldly errors simply disappear.
  • Head on Ezekiel 25 - 12 years ago
I had an incredible vivid dream about being in a southern baptist church where the preacher, in the middle of the sermon, announced that he wanted to have a great mass confessional. This was naturally met with a lot of confusion, he said "I know it seems wrong, but Im going to read you something that might change your minds: Exekiel 25:13!". Any thoughts?
  • Tom Brown on Judges 14:19 - 12 years ago

  • Teddy, age 12 on Job 40:15 - 12 years ago
I don't think that crocodiles breathed fire. But who knows?
Things have changed. They're really not that big.
    However the conditions were different then they are now so they could have reached longer lengths;
but there were still animals much larger than crocodiles.
    Like dinosaurs(then known as dragons).
  • Chris on Genesis 4 - 12 years ago

  • Danny on Genesis 19 - 12 years ago
The reference to sexual promiscuity symbolized the depravity of the times. Not so different from what we're seeing today. Especially with the advancements in technology which puts even more temptations before us and even our children. Since God judged these other cities you wonder how far His patience will go with us. How many truly righteous people do we have in the U.S.A. today? It begins with believing as Abraham did.
  • Uchella kingsley on Genesis 1:2 - 12 years ago
I think that this scripture became and is a founded establishment of everything that will ever come after that moment, family, business, life in general. I think that what God explains here is the factual truth of how He turned nothing to something. Have you ever tried to imagine why God had to involve Himself with this in the first place. Believe what God says HE saw and how it was . without form- take a pencil and try to make a formless shape, consider it void. every child is born, you are the one who is expecting a bright future, but for him it is void and formless, you then begin to try and make a future out of it, leave every child to himself? he wouldn't survive 2 weeks. God bless His Word.

  • Harry grubham on Luke 12 - 12 years ago
The verses that I believe to be very important are when the Lord tells us not to worry. what good does it do? Trust in the Lord and all will be well with our SOUL! Our body is just on earth a short while.
