Romans 9:13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated. 14 What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid. 15 For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.

Rev 2:9 Christ is talking about the people in Israel now calling themselves Jews when they are NOT the real Jews! Because when you read Jeremiah 14:1 The Jews are black people! A Jew is a person from the tribe of Judah. So what race of people Christ is talking about in Rev 2:9? Type Jesus Christ in google and your answer is everywhere!

If there was a war, how was this war fought, with what kind of weapons? How many angels died or what were the casualties? Normally, somebody has to die in a war and everything is settled afterwards, but in this particular war the losers are cast down to earth.

God bless you. If we love the Lord with all our heart and all our mind, then we will DO what He commands. Solomon said the most important thing we can do on this earth is to fear God and obey his commands. It is the whole duty of man. Ecc 12:13. So WHAT exactly ARE those commands?
According to the bible is is the 10 commandments. 1John 2:3-7 says we have come to know him if we obey his commands and if he does NOT DO what he commands then he is a liar. That we are to walk as Jesus did. So Jesus kept the Sabbath day as was his custom, he kept the Passover with his disciples. He kept all the appointed Feasts of God. John writes that this is not a new command but an old one that we have had since the beginning. The 10 commandments~! Now we don't keep the old covenant 10 commandments with all its regulations and sacrifices. Now we keep the new covenant 10 commandments that Jesus kept as well as the disciples who were taught by Jesus. Jesus is the final sacrifice for all the daily, weekly, yearly sacrifices. So we keep the new covenant as Jesus taught us . If you are not keeping Sabbath the 7th day and if your church does not keep the feasts of God ,then you are not in Zion, the Church of God. So that means then you are worshiping God in vain. The bible clearly tells us the salvation comes out of Zion and that God dwells in Zion. Zion is the place where God's holy and appointed Feasts are kept....Remember the Sabbath by keeping it holy.

  • Gene on Hebrews 12:14 - 12 years ago
I think many Pastors have been decieved into believing and teaching that someone can love God, be filled with His Spirit, and then later turn away and still walk into heaven, disregarding all the warnings, especially the one here that says without holiness, no man shall see the Lord. We are not talking works, we are talking denying your self. Is not self denial a proff of true salvation?
  • Franco on Isaiah 44:20 - 12 years ago
He feedeth on ashes: a deceived heart hath turned him aside, that he cannot deliver his soul, nor say, Is there not a lie in my right hand? ( Isaiah 44:20 KJV) the. Same wood used for fuel or to cook with is turned into an idol. What an abomination , instead of feeding on the bread of heaven we feed on near ashes, worshiping creation; the work of our hands rather than the Creator: "Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened". Romans 1:21. Let's turn our eyes on Jesus and follow His example when He was tempted: And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Matthew 4:9, 10

My comment is that the Lord had aquired them a land that they could and can overtake, but because of their unbelief in God seeing all that He has done for them still had doubts in Him, a journey that had to be for eleven days took so many years and still not get to enter it is very sad, the same is for us today.believing in God and His promise that He will return what will we do??????

  • Marie Johnson on Hosea 1 - 12 years ago
I was directed by Our God on this day; to view this particular chapter of "Hosea", through The King James Version of The Bible online, because I am being cleansed, delivered and redeemed by the power of The Living God and I was instructed to read and gain understanding, so I would have understanding of my own life and the life of our nation, during it's struggles and strife. What did I think of "Hosea?" Praise God in THE HIGHEST; HALLELUJAH Amen!

    @Rosalina

I assume you are referring to the Last Supper ? Lets read what those present had to say about what Jesus said at the Last Supper.....

Matthew 26:27-28 He said, "All of you drink of this; FOR THIS IS MY BLOOD OF THE NEW COVENANT, WHICH IS BEING SHED FOR MANY UNTO THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS."
Mark 14:22-24, "Take; THIS IS MY BODY", and "THIS IS MY BLOOD OF THE NEW COVENANT, WHICH IS BEING SHED FOR MANY."
Luke 22:19-20, "THIS IS MY BODY, WHICH IS BEING GIVEN FOR YOU; DO THIS IN REMEMBRANCE OF ME", and "THIS CUP IS THE NEW COVENANT IN MY BLOOD, WHICH SHALL BE SHED FOR YOU."
I agree with you Rosalina that the bread and wine are symbolic for you in that, your church and minister have no Apostalic Authority (alredy discussed )and cannot perform Consecration. So yes, for you it would only be a symbol.
  • CHOBA AARON on 1 Corinthians 14 - 12 years ago
CHAPTER 14:34 OF 1COR. PAUL, A WELL LEARNED APOSTLE OF CHRIST CLEARLY MADE US UNDERSTAND THE ROLE OF WOMEN IN THE CHURCH. NOT THAT WOMEN SHOULD NOT PREACH BUT THAT THEY ARE NOT TO PREACH IN A CONGREGATION OF MEN AND WOMEN. IN TITUS 2:2-5, APOSTLE PAUL ADMONISHED THE OLDER WOMEN TO TEACH THE YOUNG WOMEN THE WAY TO LIVE A HEALTHY FAMILY LIVE. A WOMAN CAN BECOME ANYTHING IN THE WORLD. SHE CAN RISE TO THE POSITION OF PRESIDENT OF A COUNTRY. BUT PREACHING WORK IS EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE MEN. THEY ARE TO TAKE CARE OF THEIR HUSBAND AND CHILDREN AT HOME. THEY ARE TO HELP IN BUILDING A STRONG FAMILY. OUR GOD IS A GOD OF ORDER. IF WOMEN ARE ALLOWED TO PREACH JUST LIKE THE MEN, WHO WILL TAKE CARE OF THE HOME? FOR ANYONE WHO HAVE DOUBT CONCERNING THIS ISSUE, SUCH SHOULD PLEASE VERSE 34 WHERE APOSTLE WARNED THAT IF ANY MAN THINK HIMSELF TO BE A PROPHET, HE SHOULD KNOW THAT WHAT HE IS SAYING ARE NOT HIS WORDS BUT THE COMMANDMENT OF GOD. WE SHOULD RATHER OBEY GOD THAN FOLLOW OUR OWN INSTINCT.

@ Sandie, when Jesus taught his disciples how to pray, He started off with: Our father which art in heaven... Luke11:2. So yes our prayers do go to heaven. Isaiah 61:1
Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne,
and the earth is my footstool: where is the
house that ye build unto me? and where is the
    place of my rest?

  • Sigmund Ivarsson on Luke 13:24 - 12 years ago
If the gate is so narrow of course many cannot enter at the same time. Not only that but it is also very low so that you must bow down very low to enter. Watch you heads sort of warning. If your head is up high full of pride you will get knocked out but if you bow you also cannot hide any weapons. These things that the Camel cannot bring in nor a person are worldly goods and the traditions of men. You say but these are our tradition and God says drop them. You say they are sacred, God says they are unclean. All of them to the trash heap to be burned. You say I am burning your honor and I say how perceptive of you. Do you still want to come in?
  • Sigmund Ivarsson on Luke 7 - 12 years ago
Since God forgives everyone then those who have been forgiven the most live love him the most. Well that means Hitler will love him or Stalin or even Mao will love him. Not necessarily because they might not repent and be proud of what they should be ashamed of. Only the believer can love Jesus and there are some big time sinners among believers. Many of these have not had the privilege of being alive at the same time that Jesus was on earth even less have a chance encounter with him. Many unbelievers met him and did not know him since it is impossible for an unbeliever to recognize God in human form. So this is the question of this age. How will you recognize him in this day and age knowing tha he has a new name that no man knows. Not by name of course we have seen the ravage of many who have come in his name. It is by his words that you will know him and only if you are a true believer. Do you believe what I have just said?

This verse is so inspiring. If we have God, who is the most powerful Being in the universe, on our side, then what do we have to fear?
  • Francisca Owusu Anasah on Hebrews 11:1 - 12 years ago
Our text describe faith as evidence of things not seen. For example, you hope for finances to meet obligations that you have to pay. Faith gives the assurance that you will have the money when you need it. You hope for physical strength to do work that you must do.Faith says ''The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? ( Psalm 27:1). Faith will say about itself everything that the says, for faith in God is simply faith in His Word.

  • Caspart Yoanes on Proverbs 31 - 12 years ago
I like Proverbs 31:10 and 31:30. The scripture asks 'who can find a virtuous woman (wife)? I, personally feel that I cant find it or my parents or my friends or anyone can find it for me. I believe the Lord can find the best and virtuous wife for me.

Verse 30 says "... a woman who honours the Lord..." is far more than rupees. Then the question that I pose is, how do I know a woman honours the Lord? My personal thinking and feeling is that only my Lord Jesus Christ knows the woman sho honours Him truthfully.

Whoever God gives me is the one that my Lord has found for me and the one He knows honours him truthfully. Sorry, its a bit hard to feel the same as me. The Lord has given me the wife of my life and this is my testimony.

What are you growing on the inside of you? The anointing is like the rain: it will make both the wheat and tares grow. You can use your anointing to grow pride, ego, selfishness and the likes. Watch and pray.
