    Oh! This is really terrifying that we turn away from God and His commandments and choose for ourselves to worship the creature than the creator. How many of us today obey the roman invented Sabbath which is the first day of the week than the real Sabbath of the Lord the seventh day of the week? Isn't that worshiping the creature? FOOD FOR THOUGHT!

    Does anybody else find it offensive that women are created after everything else and out of Adam's rib, as though we are just an extension of men and don't have our own purpose. Adam even got to name us and his wife! Is there any other perspective to read this section from?

  • David Boyce on John 21 - 13 years ago
    John 21:18, although the King James version of this verse is hard to understand, if you use more modern bibles you will see this is about the crucifixion of Saint Peter. He was crucified in June 6th month of 66AD on Vatican Hill by a Mithra temple and a nearby pyramid and Peter was crucified by Nero. This John 21:18 was written to match the next triangular number in the bible of Revelation 13:18-666 after John 21:11-153 fish 153. 153+666 = 819 and is linked to John 21:18,19. The number 21 is 7+7+7 and is part of the 7 seals of the Book of Revelation. The Book of Revelation is written around the Book of Ezekiel and Ezekiel means 'to fasten to' or 'Holdfast'. Revelation 21:18,19 contains the word 'WALL' to lead you to the 14 Premiere of Sask. Bradley John Wall-Tami Kildaw code which is completed on 11 24 2012 when Brad turns 47. Nostradamus used this Wall code when he had himself buried in a WALL when he died. Holdfast Sask. Roman Catholic Church spire is found in 6:12 Quatrain and creates an end of time map where the bible ends on 12 21 2012 and he uses many other towns in the surrounding area and about 70% of His Lost Book paintings are about the Old Templar Biblical Code. What does it mean? Jesus was crucified in March the 3rd month of 33AD and Peter's crucifixion is double that of June 6th month of 66AD. Revelation 13:18 is about Rome, however Jesus was born on 66.6 when you add the Latitude + Longitude of Bethlehem together and 66.6 is Lat. + Long. The area of Jerusalem where Jesus was crucified in March 3rd month of 33AD and was 39 and 6 months old and would be 40 years old on October 9th of 33AD. Historical books written about Saint Peter show he was in England in the spring of 66 AD with his wife and daughter as Jesus lived in Somerset England near Glastonbury Tor. After Peter died in 66AD, Jesus took his remains and had them buried in Jerusalem and Saint Peter's remains were found in 1953 by two monks who wrote a book about it. In late 66AD Jesus was involved in the beginnings of the Jewish rebellion of 66AD in which the first people to die were those who murdered his brother Jacob which was changed in early English to James the Just. This resulted in the sacking of the Second Temple of Solomon as Jesus made references to it's destruction. Jesus later in 66AD headed north into the area of the 7 churches of the Book of Revelation in what is now Turkey and he is giving us a warning. It was the Council of Nicea after 325AD in this area of these 7 churches of the Book of Revelation where the Roman Catholic religion started based on a fictional Jesus Christ of Nazareth, an unmarried carpenter. Nazareth never existed in Israel until after 350AD. Revelation 21 was based on the end part of the Book of Ezekiel, Holdfast Sask. Over a thousand years ago church clergy from Europe such as the Culdee monks would come to this area of Sask. And they later formed the Mandan Tribe who spoke Brythonic. The Burial mounds of Manitoba-Rev. George Bryce will lead you to the Culdee monks who were using the triangular number 153 for the area of 51 Lat. and 105.3 Long. Many of the Culdee monks descended from King David and Jesus Christ and had to flee Ireland around 1170AD or be massacred by the Normans who were backed by the Vatican. I am a historical archeologist and many archeologists know this history.

    The bible says God has not given us the spirit of timidity, why would God require us to work out our salvation in fear and trembling? Anything done when one is afraid can lead to disaster.
  • Harry on Revelation 18 - 13 years ago
    Praise God for his word that does not come back void and accomplishes the thing that he tells it to. Jesus exposes the sins of Spiritual Babylon, gives clear warning of the consequences of being associated with her worship system, and specifically calls God's people who fellowship with to get out of it. Unknown to many Christians today Spiritual Babylon worship which is forbidden for God's people to participate in by God, has stealthily been introduced into worship within the churches by Satan. In Daniel is revealed the anti-Christ religious organization set up by Satan on earth whose goal, purpose, and existence is to misrepresent God's truth and blaspheme God's name. Jesus reveals to us in Revelation that the issue is worship. The command is given in Revelation 14 to worship him who created the heavens, the earth, the sea, and the fountains of waters. The warning is also given that God's wrath will be poured out on all who choose to worship the beast under Spiritual Babylon's worship system. Do you know what system you are worshiping under?

    Awesome, at 03 in the morning, just finished a 3 day trial, sold a part (50%) of land and they made up a worldly story with their lawyer and sued me for all the land. Judge reserved his decision, and the law firm that represented me was Stewart, then THE LORD directed my steps to reading this passage in 1 Corinthians 4. Hallelujah, what do you think?

    Does "subdue" extend to include genetic and weather modification? Is "dominion" a little heavy-handed, like an unconditional license to rape, pillage and plunder? I'm not a Bible expert, but would hope that the big guy placed some limitations on granting this generous scope of authority.

  • Timothy Wayne George on Luke 1 - 13 years ago
    Why did Zacharias doubt when Gabriel told him he would have a son? Just as Gabriel told Mary nothing is impossible with God. Mary is highly rewarded for her faith, for she proclaimed behold the handmaiden of the Lord, be it unto to me according to thy word. Faith is what moves the hand of God, and not doubt. So Zacharias repented after the angel told him he would be dumb, and speechless, until God brought to pass these things in his season. So have faith in God, and He will move any mountain that you may be facing in your life at this time.

  • Mas on Titus 3 - 13 years ago
    @Mindy,
    There is difference to make between questions that are asked to profit, and those tha are asked to distract or deter. And verse 9 here is very clear: “.. avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.” Those should be avoided, because they bring nowhere.
    Now coming to Jeremiah 17:9, “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” That means that above all things, our heart can tell us lies than ever, because it is wicked, it tends to tell us that evil is good, which actually is not the case.
    The only cure is in Hebrews 4:12 “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
    When the word of God dwells in us, and is in rule in our life, God’s judgments become our judgments, God’s views become our views; and with that the word shall separate very sharply, like a twoedged sword, what is of God and what is not, it shall bring light in every single aspect of our life; and then show us the way out.
    God bless you.

    This is where I’m confused in Jeremiah 17:9 it says, to test our heart, how are you supposed to test that things are of God without asking questions?

    Verse 12: Whose fan is in his hand,.. The fan is the word of GOD BECAUSE IT DISCERNS THE THOUGHTS AND INTENTS OF MEN ( HEBREWS 4:2)AND JUDGES MEN'S EVIL WAYS ( Revelation 20:13). ...PURGE HIS FLOOR, -THE FLOOR IS THE EARTH AND ALL ITS CREATION, IN THIS CASE THE HUMAN BEINGS. IF THE FLOOR MENTIONED HERE IS THE CHURCH, THEN WHAT ABOUT UNBELIEVERS, SINCE THEY ARE GOING TO BE JUDGED TOO AND THEY ARE NOT PART OF THE CHURCH? THE WHEAT IS THE CHRISTIANS AND THE CHAFF STANDS FOR UNBELIVERS ( ROMANS 10:16). THE GARNER IS HEAVEN AND THE UNQUENCHABLE FIRE IS THE LAKE OF FIRE MADE FOR SATAN.
  • Mdoinit on 1 Timothy 1 - 13 years ago
    Why quarrel? Why did our lord never say He is GOD? What did he say or do? Healed the sick, raised the dead, gave sight to the blind, mobility to the lame, forgiveness (here it is said who is this man that he forgives sin, only GOD can forgive {not verbatim}) to the lepers, fulfilled the scriptures. Halas the Pharisees and 'Sadducees' were too ignorant and vain to recognize HIM even though they say they know scripture. It is written I and my Father are one, not just words to that effect. My Father has many houses; I go now to prepare a place for you.... What did Christ actually say then why didn't Christ tell them? Does HE explain it? It is all there written. Where the Father is I am also. Is it not stated, Believe on MY works?
  • Emily on Leviticus 20:13 - 13 years ago
    @Charles,
    Love how people pick and choose WHICH parts of the bible to follow and which parts not to. You say since it's an abomination to God then it should be to us... Ok then, are you saying that we are to judge just like God? 'Judge not'!!; I would also imagine that if you would follow it that closely and were so honorable you would honor thy father or mother (as the commandment says) if they were abusing you and were drug addicts and gave you drugs? Right? I suppose you would still honor them with the faith that God would make it stop eventually/hopefully before you die or become addicted yourself or go to prison yourself and trust that he'd reward you in heaven....right?!! Is that what you would tell the children who were being abused by their parents? No, don't report it if your parents tell you not to tell anyone! Suffer through it! You must honor your mother and father!! Get over yourself! It's people like you and the strict Catholics that ruin it for others who just want to believe and want to be a good person but still fear they just aren't good enough! Judge not least ye be judged! You people are the most judgmental people out there!!! I know! Born and raised Catholic and am proud to consider myself a Recovering Catholic!

    What people seem to miss is the part “let women ask their husband's at home”. And what about the widow or the single woman not yet married but living on her own without a husband yet? What if there is no husband at home to ask. Which in our society and even back in Christ day such was the case. Not all men are head over all women. A husband is head over HIS wife not all other men's wives or other women. These verses were added by someone not Paul as is the one in I timothy and it contradicts other scripture and roles of women through out biblical history and scripture. God made man and woman equal and gave both gifts some to prophecy and teaching and he did not exclude women from these gifts. Even Christ chided Martha busy in her kitchen when she complained of her sister Mary sitting with Christ talking to him, learning asking questions. From all we know of these two women neither was married or had husbands yet. Nor did Mary Magdalene and Christ's own mother was a widow. They had a big role in Christ's life and were active in the community and in the church and meetings. As was Lydia, Docus, Phoebe and others.
