His abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.

These words respond to those who accept the process of salvation through circumscision and baptism in the name of Jesus Christ, as the Bible says! It is the Gospel of Christ..DEATH•BURIAL•RESURRECTION. Meaning you must DIE from your sins thru repentance. BURIAL you must be buried in baptism to his death ( Rom 6:3-4) RESURRECTION-Recieving the promise of the Holy Ghost, as the scripture says in ( John 3:5) ecept a man be born of watwer and of spirit he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God. This is the GRACE that every man MUST ACKNOWLEDGE. And if you make an action for this then THERE WILL BE A LIVELY HOPE FOR YOU by the resurrection of Jesus Christ because it is God who planned this God was manifest in the flesh in the person of Jesus Christ as the body of God by the power of the Holy Ghost( 1 Timothy 3:16)
That is why the Inheritance incorruptible and undefiled that does not fadeth away reserved in heaven for you. This is the provision of God if you will ovey what is written in the book Bible
Already reserve in heaven and it is already kept in God's hand by his power. do you agree what the Bible tells?

If God is not a man,how can Jesus be God and man ?
  • Emmanuel on Proverbs 8 - 13 years ago
PROVERBS 8 shows us that God's wisdom is the main thing anyone will get once we are in tune w/ his will and heart..
    not knowledge nor salvation...
having wisdom coming from God himself is greater than anything else since it was there before the universe was created...
this passage dont talk about God's sovereignity or Jesus being God...it talks about wisdom and how are we to view it...
that;s why it said at the begginning of the passage
"Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice?"

  • Xavier on Exodus 20 - 13 years ago
Hi there, I'm here today to make all of you know the truth. Basically, today some Christian religious obviously making the image of God. God don't want people to create His image right? So, why should they making God image?

Exodus 20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:

It's proven from the bible that we could not create image of God.

Some people think that this 10 commandments included in the law that Mosses wrote. Well, it's not. The law is what Mosses write and the 10 commandments wrote by God Himself.

So, in that case we must follow the 10 commandments until now. That's what God want for people to do.

  • Kimber on 1 Timothy 2 - 13 years ago
1&2 Timothy is a LEADERSHIP epistle and Paul is talking to Timothy about leadership. Also most of the time when the word subjection and "woman" are used together the word woman should be "wife". In fact Strong's concordance says the word "woman" in 1Tim 2:12 is (transliterated into English from the Greek) "goo-nay" the number is 1135. And Strong's says it means woman and specifically wife.

So Paul is saying that a wife is not to teach or take over the teaching from her husband; men are head of the household. But there are times when women do teach and are leaders: remember Deborah? She was a judge of Isreal. And Miriam the sister of Moses was a Prophetess and in Kings Huldah the prophetess and in the gospels the prophetess Anna who prophesied about Jesus when he was a baby.
Women went a little overboard when they learned that they were equals with men spiritually. for there is no bond nor free; no male nor female; no Judaean nor gentile in the spirit. Being equals in the spirit women thought they should have equality in the church and yet GOD had given men leadership responsibilities; so when some Christian women and especially wives tried to teach and arguments broke out. Paul wrote to set things straight. Women can teach and have taught in the past. Remember Aquila and Priscilla; they were a husband and wife team who brought Apollos home and taught him more perfectly the will of GOD concerning Christ. Acts says they both taught him.
I am still studying 1 Timothy 2:12, but I'm sure that Paul didn't mean that women could never teach as these other women clearly had taught and were still women of GOD.

God has blessed humankind with the gift of freewill. If josephs banishment by his brothers is the work of god to prolong the sons of israels existence then is that not a contradiction of the concept of freewill?
  • Chandy on Malachi 1 - 13 years ago

Can anybody tell me which Hebrew word translates to be 'pierced' in verse 16? I will tell you - none, because it is a complete mistranslation, just as the 'virgin' of Isaiah ch.7 v14. Why do they find it necessary to corrupt the Hebrew Scriptures?

  • Shoshi on 2 Corinthians 5:16 - 13 years ago
i have been greatly exercised over this verse as the media and the world judge people according to size and age and prosperity etc. if you are a grandfather or mother and mature size not the skinny teen size that is all the go right now then you are no good. if you are old you are of no avail if you are pensioned you are written off if you are slow you are written off if you blieve different that the media you are of course wrong. If you go to a certain denomination church you are judged ok but if you are different you are not.
is verse is very meaningful as what does it mean ot walk in the spirit and to know after the spirit and who does this?

If man believes the existance of the Devil, then they must believe God the father,God the Son,God the Holy Spirit. The Devil is yes a fallen Angel(a Serpant. God created the Devil for how could we see how good GOd is if nothing bad ever happened ? we would be robots (worshiping God)God is king of kings ,right ? well the devil is a Prince. God can never die so the devil is the eternal Prince. He is powerless beyond earth itself. The devil can only a act on free will. Yes we are cursed upon sin, born again though the body of christ we sin less and less.Deception is simple for evil doesnt have to look bad to be bad, you can be blessed by the devil. Anyone or anything that challenges your faith is the devil. It can be an attractive woman who is pleasant to the eye and seems like she is of good doings, but is she doesnt credit God and boasts then she is the devil ,Atheus no belief. or The devil can be a pleasant man that seems nice but can do the same. Example you're struggling, don't attend church because you have no transportation. You ask God for a vehicle and promise to go to church. Say you gain a larger income thats cxonsistant and do recieve a vehicle and procrastinate and still never attend church. ANything that keeps you from God and challenges your commitment may be the devil. It seems good but you're really blinded. You contenuie to recieve so called "blessings",setting you're faith of God on the back burner. If you financially depend on someone or depend on everyone but God ,you have a tendency to loose your faith. Why do you think millionaires commit suicide?Money can come close but can't exactly buy happiness. It just trade to get what we want. With the Bible you'll never thirst or hunger. Also no one knows what physical form jesus will return in so its important to treat people nice not think negative for jesus may live in the body of a homeless person, a political leader,a new neighbor and elderly person anyone. You may even incounter him face to face and not know it. Tried to live as holy as possible
    :)
  • Marty on Psalms 71 - 13 years ago
I have sinned. And why not? Of course a sinner will sin. I have been blessed greatly in life and yet for most of my adult life, i have selfishly continued to ignore God. I am turning my eyes to the Lord and am learning to pray. God is slowly opening my eyes and the beauty and joy of life is being revealed to me. I am finally becoming thankful and joyful.

  • Jemimah David on John 1 - 13 years ago
In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. How could we know God? We can know Him through His Words, because He is the Word...that gives eternal life. We need to pray to him to ask Him to give us the wisdom to know His Words, so that we may live the same way as He lived. He wants us to be perfect like him. Following His path is not easy, but through our Faith, Obedience and Love for Him, we can be called as the "Chosen few". Make Him our Model on how to live in this earth. Make His works as our guide on how to have eternal life. All these are my testimonies of my faith in Him. Amen
  • HARRY ALLISON on Proverbs 22 - 13 years ago
READING MATTHEW HENRY's commentary enlightened me to a deep lacking in my heart.I hate taking/sharing the blame for another`s fault.THROUGH "ADAM and EVE`S" sin in the garden, mankind was condemned to eternal hell.( i don `t like sharing this responsibility).MY revelation?....".all share this responsibility".JESUS redeemed me (us) with HIS BLOOD from that condemnation.ACCEPTING HIS sacrifice has more meaning and appreciation to JESUS for this liberty....THANK YOU JESUS.....

in Gen 6,GOD instructed noah to build an ark 300 cubits long,50 cubits wide, and 30 cubits high, and in Gen 7,after the rain is mentioned the water went up only 15 cubits high and all the mountains were covered. WOW its hard to fathom an ark twice as high, as the highest mountain.to build such an ark, those eight people had great lungs and stamina, wow is all i can say,...something wrong here?
