In response to Mary's comment. These two verses dont actually talk about salvation. It just states two very basic truths 1. God needed a vessel to carry out the act of redemtion he chose to do this in the likeness of man. So, God chose an embodiment of himself because the blood was going to need to be sinless and only God could do that. So God formed himself in the womb of a jewish virgin girl (mary)then live 33 yrs then to calvery. The other simply states that God Loved the world. No, what your looking for is much more of a blatant answer. The 1st light of God's salvation opens up in Jn3:3/3:5 then tracks itself all the way to the book of Acts starting on the day of Pentecost and all through the the book that is the unfinished history of the new test church. Read and you'll see that everytime salvation was met out they were mandated to repent ,they were baptised in Jesus Name for the what? the remission of sins, they recieved the Holy Ghost and began to do what? Speak in other tounges as the spirit gave the utterance! That is what I call blatant salvation. So dont be sold short. 16/17 r great scriptures no dought, but God has a salvation that goes beyond dought, beyond two settings of scriptures. I am really respect to Jesus and how he pray to tell his Father to save the people by giving them the eternal life.
What is the eternal life?
The eternal life is to know him, the only true GOD and to know JESUS CHRIST the one who sent.

Jesus also praying for everyone else who will have faith because of what his disciples will say about him.

Clearly JESUS Himself was confronted with this self-same issue, when the sadducees (that DENY The Resurrection) came along TEMPTING Him.

Here (below) they clearly cite verses 13-14 of Tobit 6. This means that these sadducees knew about this writing. Must have been MADE UP by someone with a desire to be "a prophet" if the sadducees were citing it in their "Temptation of Christ".

I'm curious, if God knows the end from the beginning why did he see fit to destroy all flesh except that of Noah and his clan. Wouldn't he have seen the corruption coming when he made Adam and all that came after? Why didn't he just destroy them then and there?


GOd knows the end but he has given free will and hopes many of his children will choose the right thing and he also knew he would send his Son Jesus (Yeshua) to save the creation he so dearly loves else why would he have created them in his own image. His ways are not yours or my ways that's why he thinks different.

This mystery of iniquity was a first century individual. he is the one who had to be removed.
It is impossible for this wicked individual to be the church or the Holy Spirit, like many bible students think. This individual was alive in the first century, therfore the man of sin must have been revealed in the first century. The most high has given his creation specific duties that work to fulfill the benefit to the family in the general sense. However, this patriarcal view needs to be examine based on its time and place. There are women teachers who do a great job and women teachers who do a poor job. This applies for men the same. The Hebraic and Arab view in regards to women can be disconcerting. Abraham two sons formed the lineage of two belief systems; Issac/Christianity and Ishmael/Islam. God annoints whom ever He pleases...also the pronouns of He or Him can insinuate patriarchal views. God should not even be addressed as He because this refers to man. There are times man need to learn in silence and subjection. Let us not the people of the past views influence us to argue. Can you imagine some of the politicians views or conservative views being the gospel? Always think for yourself, whether it is the bible, qur'an or talmud...think for yourself and try to live a righteous life. Righteousness has no gender neither truth.

The book of Esther is a book of obedience and humility. Chap. 10 evidence of Jesus' coming...not! Not even Jesus knows the day or time. Why do people keep doing that? The only thing you need to do is stay in the Word and be ready.

I can't wrap my mind what happened with Eve and Adam eating from a forbidden tree. There are those that said Satan took Eve's virginity but how could that be with Adam standing there?? He did know that Eve was his wife and he did know that a man leave his father and mother, join his wife and they become one.

So, it's hard to believe Adam just stood there and watch Eve get taken advantage of in that situation.

If Satan did take Eve's virginity, that tree of knowledge of good and evil bear some sort of fruit that was intoxicating. I think when Eve ate and gave to her husband, they both passed out from eating the fruit and Eve was thus taken advantage of and probably didn't know, nor did Adam.

And when they awoken, they obviously knew something wasn't right since they knew they didn't just "go to sleep." It's the same if a woman wakes up from a date-raping drug. She will definitely know something happened to her, likewise Adam and Eve.

And when they woke up, "guilt" probably was the first thing they felt and the fact they had to cover themselves, is a dead give-away and a guilty conscious that confirmed something sexual happened.

Even still, it doesn't explain why Adam felt the need to cover himself. I can see Eve wanting to cover herself after it happened to her but Adam had no reason for doing so. So, just what really happened there?

God cursed the ground for Adam's stake. That's a "partial" punishment as if he wasn't all the way at fault. The ground was cursed instead of him. And the fact he had to start eating herbs when he was eating "fruits that yield seeds" and "herb that bears seed" is quite indicative here.

Only the wild beast or non-humans were eating herbs as raw off the ground. So, if God to punishment Adam by making him eat herb raw from the ground, could be indicative that a beast actually molested Eve? Ape?

What does God first commands us to do? To love Him with all are hearts, souls,minds and to love our neighbors second.{fellow humans} Jonathan saw in David what the Lord saw in David and felt honored to be his best friend. David felt honesty and loyalty from someone who he could trust in a perilous and frightening time in his life. Johnathan personally experienced Davids great faith in the GOD of Abraham. "In the Lord", is unclear. Does the Greek root shed any light as to the verse? Is this dealing with only mortal existence or in the life to come?

In Genesis I don't think that G'd is speaking in a literal way; particularly when he speaks of the creation of the heaven and the earth. For example, when G'd says "let there be light" I think that it's allegorical language extolling us to get knowledge; develop the intellect. Is not knowledge a light? Does it not allow us to see? On the other hand, ignorance is darkness. "And G'd divided the light from the darkness" is allegorical for the separation of ignorance from knowledge.
