Where in the Bible does it say they got blood from Jesus during resurrection, that the Catholic church now has?

The dangers of the lukewarm church.

Jeremiah 6:14 talks about healing slightly by declaring peace, peace when there is no peace. Such is much like the state of a lukewarm church; in front of the raging spiritual battlefront. When our garments are filthy ( Zech. 3:3) we are compromised to the point that the enemy of our souls has rendered us ineffective to battle. This means we aren't even fighting the good fight ( 1 Tim. 6:12). Others who are capable of putting on the full armor of God; and even have knowledge of how to use the weapons at hand are at times not being diligent to use them. This often starts with leadership; who may have the correct doctrines; but don't put heartfelt prayer in the beginning of their sermons. How refreshing would it be to be as Daniel; honestly assessing the rebellion of His people and the results ( Dan. 9:4-19). When we are desperate enough to realize that only He who is ever interceding for us as our High Priest ( Heb. 7:25) can cause us to overcome; then we begin to fight. Our enemy never sleeps; day and night seeking whom He can devour ( 1 Peter 5:8).

Many are battle weary; and have little strength from being shell shocked. ( Rev. 3:8). Should not we support our brothers and sisters; that remnant who bear the brunt for many others who have sidelined themselves through deliberate sins; unknown distractions or just careless abandon while casualties mount? When one part of the Body hurts; we all hurt and when one rejoices all do ( 1 Cor. 12:26). We must begin to understand that His Body is truly where our identity is as adopted children. ( Eph. 1:4; etc.) Just as a marriage ceases to define us and our own individual identities apart from the other; we are no longer to conform to this world but be transformed into the image of His Son. ( Romans 12:2). His sufferings in some sense become ours ( 2 Cor. 1:5). We can rejoice that our end is as His in glory; and that He bore our sins on the tree.

    Living Water

    John 7:37-39

    37. In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thrist, let him come unto me, and drink.

    38. He that believeth on me, as the scriptures hath said, out of his belly shall flow of living water.

    39. (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given, because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

The Truth Will Set You Free

    John 8:31-41

    31. The said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples;

    32. And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

    33. They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?

    34. Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.

    35. And the servant abideth not in the house forever: but the Son abideth ever.

    36. If the Son therefore shall make you free indeed.

    37. I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.

    38. I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.

    39. They answered and said unto Him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the work of Abraham.

    40. But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.

    41. Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to Him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.

    Hello,

What's the real meaning when GOD said to Moses I Am That I Am, And I am have sent to you?

Does this mean that trough the I Am we are all Gods and creators, or that GOD is a being and so HE/SHE impregnate everything and so everything is HIM/HER?

Are we so co creator of the universe? Do Christians really need the Old Testament, even though in many parts it contradicts the words O Jesus Christ?

    Thank you.

    1 John 1:1-10 (KJV) That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;

(For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)

That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.

This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

Matthew 5:1-17 (KJV) And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him:

And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,

Blessed are the poor in spirit: for their's is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for their's is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill

    The Excellence in God's Work

    Ecclesiastes 3:9-15

    9. What profit hath he that worketh in that wherein he laboureth?

    10. I have seen the travail which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised therewith.

    11. He hath made everything beautiful in its time: also he hath set eternity in their hearts, yet so that man cannot find out the work that God hath done from beginning even to the end.

    12. I know that there is nothing better for them, than to rejoice, and to do good so long as they live.

    13. And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy good in all his labor, is the gift of God.

    14. I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor anything taken from it; and God hath done it, that man should fear before him. That which is hath been long ago; and that which is be hath long ago been: and God seeketh again that which is passed away.

I recently had a pastor of a nondenominational church who said, to me, that either the KJV bible or all versions of the bible were not written by God. I'm not sure which he meant but either way I left the church immediately. I'm not a KJV only condeming christian but I do believe the KJV is the one true bible. He preached out of the NIV and I just followed along with my KJV but when he said it or all bibles were not written by God I felt like I just couldn't sit under his preaching anymore. He was rather rude about it, too. I loved the people of this church and if he had just been a member of the congreation I would have stayed. The only persons I told were my daughter who attends this church but I knew would keep it in confidence and my son who does not attend this church. My question is should I have stayed or was it good that I left so as not to sit under his false preaching?

First off let me say that I am a vessel, created in the image of God (man) 200%! I am in a transition in my life, in that I am sacrificing everything I have to be sold so I can follow Jesus as he asked of us in his ministry on earth. I know that God is "NO" author of confusion; but that of Love, Peace and Understanding and all that is GOOD! Ok this is my question: If we know the wages of sin is death, how can we trust 1 John 5-17: All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death? I can find no reference to justify this verse. Can someone please share with me the facts of this verse. The Holy Spirit in me will not let me believe this. Every scenario and thought leads me back to Sin = Death! Then comes another question: Man has been translating and editing the Bible for centuries.... So, if I use this reasoning and understanding when did Man add this verse? Because my God which is the creator of all things in Heaven and on earth That sent Jesus to die for our "SINS" that when we believe this we are saved unto eternal life.

    Please enlighten me!

    Your Brother in Christ Jesus,

Is it possible for us to reach the place that God has made for you and me?

A place in the Heavens , attainable only unto those who know the things of God!

Of course He has made all things possible to those who believe! Or is your faith as Paul say, "They have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge!"

What kind of faith is this?

What is the mystery that Paul speaks of?

Does this faith come the same for all of us? Is it a neat little package that we all share in?

Or, It is in fact, the Holy Spirit, a Spirit from above given to you and me!

It has no bounds,it has no parameters,it is free with power given from above!

A growing Spirit of Life itself! The power is the knowledge!!!!

The spirit that is alive and lives in you., Is the same Spirit that has made us free from sin!

There is therefore no condemnation to those who in Christ Jesus! Your sin have been forgiven! Rejoice, in the power that has been given you and me . That we are free, through Him who died to make us free!

Does the Bible say anything about what takes place after our last breath of life on earth?
  • S Spencer - 2 years ago
    Could Christ have sinned?

    I don't think so.

We're not sinners because we sinned.

    We sin because we're sinners.

The sin nature don't enter you once you sin.

Psalms 51:5. Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.

Our sinful nature comes from the natural man. We inherited that nature NOT because we sinned! WE INHERITED THE NATURE TO SIN!

And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.

The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. 1 Corinthians 15:45-47.

Jesus was a life giving spirit from heaven.

Adam was made a living soul out of the dust of the ground.

If Adam would have never sinned he couldn't have given everlasting life.

Romans 5:14. Nevertheless DEATH REIGNED FROM ADAM TO MOSES, EVEN OVER THEM THAT HAD NOT SINNED AFTER THE SIMILITUDE OF ADAM'S TRANSGRESSION, who is the figure of him that was to come.

( WHO IS THE FIGURE OF HIM THAT WAS TO COME.) Jesus was to come into the world even before Adam sinned. Adam wasn't capable of living a sinless life.

When was Jesus the Lamb of God to take away the sins of the whole world? When he died on the cross?

    BEFORE THE CROSS!

1 Peter 1:19-20. But with the precious blood of Christ, as of A LAMB WITHOUT BLEMISH AND WITHOUT SPOT:

Who verily WAS FOREORDAINED BEFORE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD,....( BUT WAS MANIFEST IN THESE LAST TIMES FOR YOU,)

Matthew 4:1 THEN WAS JESUS LED UP OF THE SPIRIT into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.

Do you notice Satan didn't hunt down Jesus? Jesus was led by the Spirit to Satan. This was to prove he was the son of God and ONLY the son of God cannot sin because he is God. Here Satan is just used as an instrument.

    1 John 3:9.

    God bless.

Many times I have read and reread these words of Paul. A man who would have rather killed you as to look at you. A man who had every intention to succeed in the realm of the synaguage, the priesthood, excelling in all those things concerning wisdom and knowledge .

There are those today, like Saul, think they do Gods service in the things of this world, who like Saul , are even so in the church today!

Approving those things that would damn the soul into eternal death, even killing you ,while they think they do Gods service!

Men, who have changed the truth of God into a lie! Who, through the wisdom and knowledge of their own desires have made themselves like unto Gods.

Paul understands these things better than anyone! He knows why God has chosen Him in the things of God,while condeming yet revealing the truth, to those who would listen!

Do we need not change His words, so we might have a better understanding?

These words are as real as they have ever been, the mirror that continues to reveal the truth of man in His natural state of sin!

How appropiate God has done these things to save man from sin! Hopefully, He will listen?

Are there really 10 Commandments in the Bible? (I've been asked to prove this.) The rules are: I have to use an "unadulterated," KING JAMES VERSION. I have to find exactly 10.

This friend says that there are 15 (in Deuteronomy), but "10" do not exist anywhere.

Was Ruth's marriage to Boas legal? Moses commanded that no Moabite was ever to come into the assembly of Israel. Therefore, the lineage to David and Jesus highlights disobedience to Mosiac law. Or, did Ruth's vows to Naomi and Boas mean she became an adopted Jew. Of, course, God works in mysterious ways (Rahab, for example) so his son, Jesus, could do these work of redemption for all?

Matthew 24 tells us a lot, Read it very often.

1 - There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. 2 - And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things? 3 - I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

Merriam-Webster (repent): [verb] to turn from sin and dedicate oneself to the amendment of one's life.

consider the fig tree where was it; in the beginning it was in the garden of Eden when Adam and Eve believe the lie that Satan told them and they saw that they were NECKED (didn't have a covering far there sins) so they tried to cover there sins with fig leaves. but the fig leaves could not cover there sins. that being said then the fig tree means the people will try to hide their sins. because now is the time for the fig trees to began to blossom...DEACON RICHARD CAIN...i have spoken..believe this? peace...
