This is an interesting question that I have come across time and time again. What is the stance regarding Dinosaurs in the Bible? I have heard that they were mentioned in various OT books. I have never come across this myself. If Dinosaurs are mentioned in the OT, can someone please give me Book, Chapter, and Verse references?

Is old age a punishment? and if so, wouldn't it make more sense to either let the aged have the choice of living an easier life but shorter or a longer life but less easy? Please keep in mind that this is only a question, and a thought.

Hello. Job 36:33 translates differently from other meaning from other Bible translations where it speaks that when it thunders it means God is angry and speaks of His indignation. Why the different meanings when KJV does not mention anything about God's indignation pertaining to Job 36:33? Thank you.

Mat 22:39 I here so many question and concerns of are we to love our neighbor/enemies: As always search scripture. one who fallows CHRIST and tries to be a good neighbor you love as you love all Christian brothers who fallow the doctrine of CHRIST. The 1st and greatest commandment is to love GOD with all your heart and soul and if you do you would be a good neighbor. Is upon the head of any head of house to protect you family with your life if need be. Would you let a neighbor walk in your home and abuse 1 of your family? I hope you said no.

Paul wrote: Rom 12:18 Many look over "If it is possible" sometimes it just is not possible to get along and you don't ever let someone run over you. If you have a neighbor that does not love GOD and commits egregious acts against you; he cannot be of GOD but of Satan, 2 John 1:7. Do you love Satan? I hope you said no. Anyone that does not fallow the doctrine of CHRIST we are to not so much as wish them a good day 2 John 1:10. We love our enemies only after they have turned from their sins against you and accept doctrine of CHRIST, 2 John 1:9, not until. CHRIST tells us Math. 10:14 if they do not accept doctrine to turn from them, wiping even their dirt off. If they sin against you and repent and ask for forgiveness then you forgive but if they don't then have nothing to do with them until they do.

Leviticus 19:15-:18 GOD tells us what being a good neighbor is. If he is self-professed Christian (brother) and he breaks these rules then scripture tells us to set him aside until he repents and ask for forgiveness. If he doesn't then vengeance is the Lords. You will be blessed while he has to watch; perhaps he eventually comes to senses an wants the good life you have. But if you are unlucky to get an evil neighbor you best be on guard, Christians are not 2nd class citizens where we allow to be stepped on.

    2Th 3:14,15 Mathew 18:15-:20 Romans 16:17 2 Thessalonians 3:6-:14 Luke 17:3,4. Corresponding verses.

Saul's original name had been changed to paul . jesus christ chose paul to be our apostle for the church age. to to the jews and gentiles of whomever. jesus christ gave the apostle paul a revelation being the gospel of salvation that god will use ( 1 corinthians 15:1-4 ) to judge the church comprised of jews or gentiles or whoever who believes the cospel of salvation ( 1corinthians15:1-4 ) you must believe in your heart that jesus died for your sins by shedding his blood on the cross of calvary, was buried, and rose again on the third day according to the scripyure to be saved and have everlasting life. jesus christ manifested in the flesh ( 1 tim 3:16) loved you enough to die in your place for your sins. jesus christ had already died shedding his blood for our sins whereas the gospel for salvation john preached to the jews 2000 years ago ( john 3:16) preaching that god gave his son that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. what should they believe when john preached to the jews of israel john 3:16 ? ought they believe that christ was given to them that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. this is correct because jesus christ had not been crucified, but the church of the church age will be judged by the gospel of salvation ( 1 cor. 15:1-4) revealed to paul from a revelation from jesus christ for their salvation having everlasting life, whether you be a jew or a gentile. remember god will do the judging, otherwise if you do not trust in the shed blood of jesus christ on the cross of calvary then pay the penalty yourslf and burn in the lake of fire in torment for eternally! that will be your price you will have to pay for not trusting and believing your substitute jesus christ dying, shedding his blood on the cross of calvary .

O God, today I begin an experiment in seeking peace. You have so much to say about peace in the Bible that I know it is your will for all men to be at peace.

In knowing Your will, O God, I am encouraged to press through all opposition, so that your will might be fulfilled in me.

Help me, I pray, to stop excusing my attitudes and actions. I alone am responsible for what I do today.

Help me to forget the errors of yesterday while I live to the fullest today, to Your glory. Help me not to be anxious about tomorrow but to be assured that by living today within the will of God, tomorrow shall be even better than today.

I do now commit myself to You Lord, trusting You for the needs of today. In Jesus' name.

I recall much horror at Jesus saying to cut off ones hand or ones eye,

and surely I could think of at least one other body part was worried about.

Others in my church might not be worried about their hands, because their hand is not causing

them to sin, but mine is.

First of all, I want to honor the Christian forum by first defending Jesus.

I believe Jesus has a sense of humor, I conclude based on what I have read,

that Jesus is merely teasing people who have asked him how they can stop sinning.

I understand there is also some very deep symbolism in all of this, as evidenced, by

Jesus talking about "offending" one of "these little ones". So, it is more than just a joke,

but it is humor in my opinion, I cant prove it, but I just dont see Jesus saying seriously to anyone

that they should literally remove parts of their body.

There is some question of what is meant by "offend". Other translations have said "if your hand causes you to sin",

rather than "if your hand offends you". There is surely some implication of hands, eyes, and potentially other

body parts, causing one to lust. If "offend" means something other than "causes you to sin", then in that case,

is that not exactly what the trans-gendered are doing - removing parts of their body which "offend" them?

In Matthew 19:12, Jesus seems to partially endorse the practice of becoming a eunuch.

All this is very scary to the young teenaged Christian such as I was at one time.

I recall also that it is not easy for Christian leaders to soothe such fear by dismissing it,

    because, Jesus is saying this.

The joke I talked about is a great joke, it is very deep spiritually, I think we should reflect on this,

Jesus is really telling us not to hurt ourself, not to be hard on ourself. "Rabbi, how do I stop [shameful practice]".

    "Cut your hand off".

Its so perfect. Its funny, it disarms the questioner of their fear, its deep, its totally flawless.

Matthew 5:44 "But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;"

Who are our enemies? What does it mean to love your enemies?, what kind of love do we love them? how actions do we take to extend such love?

How does it mean to bless our enemies? What actions do we take to bless them?

Who are our persecutors? what kind of prayers do we pray for them? What kind of relations should we maintain with our prosecutors? Should we maintain distance from our prosecutors though we forgive them?

    Thank you.
