So in John chapter 1, Mary is the first to arrive at the tomb before the sun rose on the first day of the week.That means Sunday is not the sabbath day. Don 't know why we go to church on Sundays. How did Sunday become our sabbath day?

Wasn 't the sabbath day on Saturday and Sunday the beginning of the week? Jesus was supposedly crucified on Friday, yet he rose the third day which would have been Sunday. If Sunday was the sabbath then wouldn 't that have been all wrong? Isn 't Good Friday celebrated because that is supposed to be the day that Jesus was crucified? I am not sure about this, so I 'm asking.

God wants us to fix our eyes on Jesus and obey his words. God will give us wisdom to understand his words. He who drinks the living water will never be thirsty.
