  • Michael on Numbers 31 - 10 years ago
If the spirit of the Lord is in you, like it was in many of those who wrote scripture, then you shall know that the virgin women were kept alive because they were suitable wives or servants for the children of Israel through God 's retribution set forth on Eve, are subject to the authority of man as such can be led into glory through through this rulership. This is another example of the good Lord sparing the lives of sinners, who need not be killed, where as the male children are bound to no such rulership, being rulers of their own as such did inherit their parent 's sins therefore were an unclean threat unto the Lord 's chosen children. This chapter is like many others and is not a question of context but a question of faith. If your body is a clean temple for the Lord, then you shall have the wisdom necessary to interpret not the wickedness that is in many comments, which only express their own mischief.

Yes I strongly believe that we open up to posession when we become so corrupt. A lot of people that are involved with drugs are experiencing posession because they 're so much out of control worshipping the devil. In this small town of chowchilla ca. there 's a high number of people afflicted with demonic posession but they 're in stupur.
  • Connie on Psalms 27 - 10 years ago
I have a comment about Rev. Autrey 's comment. I do not believe and have never believed that God became Jesus and was born of the virgin Mary or that God as Jesus died on the Cross. NO NO NO. God is God. There is only one God, God the Father which is in Heaven. Jesus was with God from the beginning as God 's son. God gave Jesus equality with him and so Jesus has equal power with God now. Jesus was sent from God into the virgin Mary and was born in human form. Jesus and God are not two parts of God. Jesus is of the Family of God.

I was just listening to a song by Johnny Cash called, When the Man comes around. It relates very much to this verse and to what is happening today. Terrorism is spreading rapidly throughout the land. Lord have mercy and hear our prayer.
  • David on Genesis 9:3 - 10 years ago
Eating the dead carcass of an animal is the same as eating a human cadaver. For some of those who have say human flesh tastes like pork. It is very disingenuous to use the word meat as a sort of abstraction for the word flesh. Just mention cannibalizing a human body and it is almost universally repugnant. With the right barbecue sauce and other seasonings you wouldn 't be able to tell the difference between human flesh and that of any other animal body. And one day, if humans last that long, we will look upon the practice of eating animal flesh with the same revulsion as we do the eating of human flesh. I mean, really, what 's the difference. Hey, flesh is flesh. Just ask Hannibal Lecter. And yes, I am a devout vegetarian for the last 40 years. And since we should now know better, why don 't we abide and obey the "prime directive " Gen 1 29

  • Olabode on 2 Peter 1:4 - 10 years ago
God has great and precious promises for his people according Jer 29v11 that the thoughts he thinks toward us is not the thought of evil but of peace to give us an expected end. This promise and others will be fulfilled if and only if we set our eyes on the things above heavenly things not the things below worldly things .

  • Joseph on Genesis 39 - 10 years ago
Apart from the lesson of the faithfulness and loyalty of Joseph to his master by refusing to commit adultery with his master 's wife, i learnt we must not be rash to make major decisions. Potiphar should have investigated what actually happened before sending Joseph to Prison, and many Christian men have been guilty of taking rash decisions based on what their wives told them, which were fabrications, exaggerations and lies. Even though Portiphar and his adulterous, seducing, evil wife were not Christians, but Christian Couples must learn not to 'manipulate ' one another into doing what the partner wants by fabricating, exaggerating and lying. May God heal every broken Christian home in Jesus Name
  • Joseph on Genesis 37 - 10 years ago
Most polygamous homes are filled with serious discord, disunity, jealousy, rivalry and all sorts of pain. That is not to say that you will not find such in some monogamous families. After all Esau and Jacob were not only brothers but twins! Indeed whichever way, the greatest pain one can endure is the one caused deliberately by those you call family or close friends. Another lesson i learnt from this Chapter is that we don 't have to disclose our dreams to others except the Lord says so. There are people who are already envious of you and if you talk too much about yourself to them, they may abhor evil against you and carry it out. We need to put a padlock on our mouths when we are before those who dislike us, except the Lord prompts us to speak. May we not use our mouths to ensnare and destroy ourselves in Jesus Name
  • Tamara on 1 Corinthians 11:14 - 10 years ago
I believe it is hideous because why would the Lord birth one with long, beautiful hair and it not be their option of how to keep it. My son has gorgeous long hair and I do not want to cut it. I want him to be old enough to decide for himself. God himself did not make this commandment, in addition.

  • Patrick Cocker on Ezekiel 7:19 - 10 years ago
Money the ROOT of all evil,we spend our time trying to get more and more.At times that could be spent with family or surving GOD.We gain matearial things instead of building a foundation of LOVE and relationships with GOD and our fellow man.We have come to rely on money to do or get what we want, not realizing that GOD is giving,we think we have control and abuse or over use that which has been given. In our pride we think we have cause of our own powers. The day will come we will wish we had thanked GOD for his BLESSINGS,big and small, and spent the time getting to know him and what he has done for us,and what we can do for him. Then we can be sure he will be there at this time of tribulation for us.Likewise your fellew man, women.Your neighbors and everyday aquaintences, they could be the one with that loaf of bread witch no amount of money can buy,or a helping hand when disaster strikes.Silver and Gold will do the opposite of what it does now but worse and you can 't buy your way into HEAVEN.So if you can even in any small way help others and thank your FATHER in HEAVEN,GOD bless and stay in his WORD

  • Randall on Matthew 8:20 - 10 years ago
For me, X 's comment is on the right track. I continue to marvel at the zen like beauty and profundity of this saying. It asks us to become aware of our attachments and identifications and to instead return "religio " or "bind back " with the source of life, which is and always has been right where we are, if we were only to wake up to it.

Oliver kunihira lucifer is a man who worked his way up serving God to the point that he got to watch, take care of God 's Mercy Seat. Ezekiel 28 gives you a better understanding. Freewill, God created all men with freewill and it all depends on what they do with it. Satan likes to steal, lie, and destroy.
