I had a pastor tell me the other day that I was bound for hell if I didn 't marry the lady whom I live with. He also said that my recent blessings didn 't come from above, but the contrary. He then states that "all sinners " go to hell. I replied, well, you 're a sinner.. He immediately expressed his distaste for my observation. He asked me where in the bible does it say that. I quoted, "for all have sinned.... " He pulled out his bible an said, show me. My view of him changed at that instant. I really wished I would 've thought of this verse at that time, though. Needless to say, the pastor wrote an email to me and the lady I live with and told us we weren 't welcome there anymore untill we come to him and talk things through.

It teaches us about repentance, jealousy, and how to find joy in those who are willing to change and make things right. It also teaches us that as a father we should have patience with our children as God has patients with us . Sometimes we give up when we should dig in and stay the course.
