OUR VICTORY IN CHRIST IS A DONE DEED. ALL WE NEED TO DO ACCORDING TO ROMANS 5 VS 1 IS TO STAND FIRM ON THAT GROUND OF VICTORY BY WHICH CHRIST HAS SET US FREE AND RESIST THE DEVIL AND HE WILL FLEE FROM US. AND HAVING DONE ALL THINGS STAND! FIGHT FROM VICTORY TO VICTORY. SATAN IS ALREADY DEFEATED. JESUS DEFEATED HIM AND MADE A PUBLIC SHOW OF HIM AND TRIUMPHED OVER HIM THROUGH THE CROSS.

These are very valuable lessons about what science cannot explain. Today we know that because the earth turns it naturally creates wind which could be used as a renewable energy source. The high pressure and low pressure areas of localities also direct wind along with temperature differences called convection. Heat rises and cold descends like all fluids. Yet science today can make no sense of events it cannot measure or explain. The things of the spirit do not exist according to the scientific mind. In other words it is the blind leading the blind but to those who are spiritually aware my words have just struck a cord.

I being on the way,The Lord led me. this statement is striking. For the Lord to lead us unto His will for our lives, we have to be on the way. Jesus is the way, But being is continuous.

hello james,, for me lamsa translated it to Christ not God because God doesn't die. The one who was crucified was Christ. not the Father the one and only true God.

"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;"

I strongly believe that the church, divided as we are, can never have a significant effect on our country. Most Christians, even evangelical Christians are hot-house religionists whose relationship with God does not exist outside of the four walls of the church. To Philidelphia, Christ said that they had patiently kept his word and had not denied his Name. Therefore, an open door was given to them...that implies exposure, not only to society of that day, but to the environment in which that society thrived. If that is true, then Philadelphia possessed a vitality that was closer to that of Christ's whose greater ministry was not in the confines of the temple or synagogue, but in the streets, marketplaces, sea side and hillside. THAT is what we need. Not a Baptist, Catholic, Pentecostal, Evangelical religion, but a Christian faith that patiently adheres to the Word and does not deny the name of Jesus.
  • B. Napoleon on Exodus 21:10 - 11 years ago
We as Christians are quick to place our own interpenetration on the scriptures when the scriptures give their own interpenetration. Here they are talking about a man taking a second wife as did many of the patriots. We want to say that this command given by God is a sin. But God can not sin and would never instruct any of his believers to sin. So the question is, did God make provisions for a man to take a second wife. If not then why would He give this command to Moses Exodus 21; Why would He chose the 12 Tribes from a man with two wives, why would He call David who had 14 wives a man after his own heart. In no place did God say these men sinned. It doesn't matter if it is a slave with conjugal rights as with Hagar, or a free woman taken as a second wife . Their rights are not to be taken away as far as marriage, theirs, nor the first wife. This was a command given by God, and we as self righteous Christian say it is a sin for a man a second wife, are now proclaiming that we know more than the Creator. What are we going to do next star taking the Ten Commandments a part and changing it around to suite us.

It can be analized thus: God is so powerful and he made/created the world with the power of his word, that means any condition we 're no matter the duration, when he speaks every thing 'll be alright with us. He as well can do what our mind cannot imagine bcos he is able as emphasized in job42:2. Thank you so much!!!

Oh how wonderful to trust and believe in Jesus.
That when I even depart from this life, I am asured that
grave will not keep as it did keep my Lord. But on the third
He reserected from the dead !! 1Thessalonian 4:14 , For we
believe that Jesus died and rose again , and
so we believe that God will bring with Jesus
those who have fallen asleep in him. According
to the Lord's word, we tell you that we
Who are still alive, who are left until the coming
of the Lord , will certainly not precede those who
have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will come
down from heaven , with the loud command,
with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet
call of God , and the dead in Christ will
rise first. After that , we who are still alive
and are left will be caught up together with them
in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.
And so we will be with the Lord forever.
Therefore encourage one another with these
word. Our Lord will bring to life all beloved
ones when He will come claim all of those that
died in Him and are resting in their graves.
My dear brothers and sisters be encouraged by
    the Lord. Be blessed. Karekezi

  • Leland Johnson on Matthew 6:25 - 11 years ago
Once we begin to obcess about our body when do we stop? Many other Scriptures bear out the fuller meaning of this text, namely that we are not to pay absolutely no attention to our bodies, but that it is not the emphasis of our being. Think of the Health Care Plan from the American Government. It is as if some people believe the government holds their life in it's hands and live accordingly, in complete aquiesence to it's proclamations- "everyone will be insured!" So? You could be the healthiest, best insured individual on the planet and get hit by a bus, drop dead, etc. The point is made by the psalmist- "my times are in Your (God) hands." This is the heart of Jesus' message. Don't overly worry about your next meal or your clothing. God rained manna from heaven and made the Israelites sandals last for forty years. It's the same God, still watching over us, still giving our daily bread. We need only thank Him for that, then give our fuller attention to the finding and doing of His will. To that we should pay much attention.
  • V.Arul Thumbi Gilbert on Psalms 102:19 - 11 years ago
The New Testament reveals that the new covenant also has a sanctuary, one that is in heaven. In it Christ functions as high priest "at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty." This sanctuary is the "true tabernacle which the Lord erected, and not man" ( Heb. 8:1, 2).At Mount Sinai Moses was shown "'the pattern, '" copy, or miniature model of the heavenly sanctuary (see Ex. 25:9, 40)Scripture calls the sanctuary he built "the copies of the things in the heavens," and its "holy places . . . copies of the true" ( Heb. 9:23, 24). The earthly sanctuary and its services, then, give us special insight into the role of the heavenly sanctuary.

First let me say that I too am proud to say I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses. And I for one agree that Jehovah's name belongs in the Bible and should be known by all people. In fact the Bible does say " They will have to know that I am Jehovah," ( Isaiah 49:26, Jeremiah 16:21, Ezekiel 6:10, 13, 14; 28:26; 25:17 (there are many more examples in the book of Ezekiel but I won't list them all.) and Joel 3:17.

I tried to find that saying in the Christian Greek (the "New Testament") but with no success since I understand that since we are no longer under the Mosaic Law some people only follow the Greek Scriptures if I'm not mistaken and my sincerest apologies if I am.

And not only do I believe in Jesus Christ as many say about Jehovah's Witnesses that we do not but we do ( Acts 4:12, but read the prior verses in that chapter, namely verse 10, which says Jesus' name as your proof) but I also believe Jehovah and Jesus are two separate beings, Jehovah being the Father and Almighty God ( Revelation 1:8, the "Almighty" part) and Jesus Christ being the son whom was sent forth to earth to do the will of his Father Jehovah, ( John 5:30; 8:28; 17:3) and that Jehovah is Greater than Jesus and Jesus said it himself. ( John 14:28).

I'm trying to be careful that I tell the truth and don't give false information or else I'll displease Jehovah and I don't want to do that.

It's just a shame that God's name was removed from a lot of Bibles and that never should have occurred, Jehovah wants and invites us to know and use his name and to have a relationship with him. If Abraham, originally Abram was one of Jehovah's friends despite being human and imperfect at that, should we not be his friends too? ( James 2:23, Genesis 17:1-5)

And in conclusion I do agree with some of the comment above including LULU, Timothy, Kevin, and Chris to name a few.

That's all from me for now.

The Old Testament and New Testament corroborate each other. There is one angel mentioned in Daniel that is to "Arise!" in the end times. Daniel 12:1 (NKJV)- “At that time Michael shall stand up, The great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people; And there shall be a time of trouble, Such as never was since there was a nation, Even to that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered, Every one who is found written in the book."
