The forbidden fruit was not an apple. Then what was it that caused Eve to fall? Answer: Eve had sex with the serpent. Cain was not Adam's son, only Abel was. The serpent was first an upright creature yet God cursed it and today that creature is the missing link in creation because God changed every bone in its body. Satan entered the serpent then caused Eve to have sex.

  • Rado on Matthew 13:12 - 11 years ago
I have been struggling with Matthew 13:12 for a long time now. Why should the one who has a lot be given even more and the one who has little be taken away even the little he has. The interpretations; I see are those making it as if it were the parable about talents - that the one who makes talents work for "interest" is favored over the one who buries them. But Matthew 13:12 does not address the action, namely what people do with what they have and the resulting consequences. It is simply saying: give the one who has much and take away from the one who has little. Why did the original writer leave this ambiguity? Was the translation perhaps not faithful? Surely Jesus in his teaching from this boat is in fact giving something to those who do not have much, i.e. enriching the ignorant, for they do not have what his disciples have. He did not run from people saying you are ignorant, hence I will not bother with you... Any reasoned explanations?

  • Brandon on Genesis 2 - 11 years ago
@Mark Andrew and Bro. Daniel FC,
I would like to discuss a few things. First of all I would like to address the case for creationism that is given by Mark Andrew, declaring that creationism is evidently true based on everything around us, this is a patently illogical conclusion because it is based on the assumption that God created the earth and all life on it. He also declares that there is no evidence for evolution, I would simply like to invite him to look into what science has found to support this theory; including biological similarities between creatures, vestigial organs, genetic similarities, geological evidence, fossil records, and astronomical evidence based on the speed of light and the distance to stars which allows us to determine the age of light and the stars from which it comes. The statement that you don't see monkeys evolving to humans today shows that you really do not understand the theory of evolution because it does not say that monkeys will evolve to humans today or in our life times, evolution takes a very long time, and monkeys are on their own evolutionary tract, to suggest that they would evolve to be humans is a somewhat centrist point of view assuming that we are better creatures than them, while in reality a monkey is very well adapted to the niche that it fills in the ecosystem. The only "Witness" that you have of creationism is the Bible. You do not have to believe that evolution is true, but you cannot say that there is no evidence for it, or that there is a great abundance of evidence for creationism. If you are a creationist, you are so in spite of the evidence, based on faith. Now in response to Bro. Daniel, I am not sure exactly what you are getting at with the "Jewish Sabbath”, and I would love to hear more about this and why you think it has become a perversion of God's commandments. I do however, wish to contend with the condemnation of homosexual marriage that you wrote. Many people claim that the Bible does not really condemn homosexual behavior, having read the bible completely several times, I do not agree with this viewpoint, the bible clearly condemns homosexual behavior as an "abomination" in Romans, Leviticus, Matthew, Luke, and Acts. I would like to suggest however, that the bible also calls the eating of pork, and any other unclean thing, at the same level of condemnation, calling it an abomination. The bible also suggests the stoning of disobedient children in Deuteronomy, along with many more absolutely horrendous crimes. The code of ethics in the bible comes from a society thousands of years old and contains their prejudices, it should be read carefully, and always with some skepticism. Now aside from biblical attacks on homosexuals, there are a few secular reasons that they are condemned in the public discourse, primarily the corruption of the sanctity of marriage, that it is unnatural, and that kids raised in homosexual homes are put in a situation that puts them at a significant disadvantage. The first argument that it corrupts the sanctity of marriage is an interesting one to me, as marriage is a institution which caries heavy governmental effects on taxes and identification, and over 300 (on average it varies by state) state benefits, along with about 1100 federal guarantees and rights in the United States. I am ignorant of the rights afforded to married couples in other countries, so you will have to forgive me if you are writing from another country and discover for yourself the number and nature of the rights afforded if you so wish. Explain to me please how you think homosexual marriage will destroy the institution of marriage, as I would suggest it has already been ravaged by the heterosexual couples that have not done a very good job of keeping it holy. As for the argument that homosexuality is unnatural, it is well documented in more than 500 species of animals, and has been observed in close to 1,500 species. Scientific evidence has not conclusively confirmed that homosexuality is either nature or nurture, but is quite sure that it is not a choice that is made by the individuals, if you do not want to take my word for it, I suggest looking up for yourself what science has discovered in relation to this topic, in fact, I would prefer that you did so rather than just taking it on face value from myself. Finally you have the argument of children being raised by same-sex couples being at some disadvantage. The American Psychiatric Association (APA) has recently submitted their report on this topic to the supreme court in light of the upcoming decision on DOMA and California's Proposition 8, it states that children raised in homosexual families are no more likely to be homosexual than those raised by heterosexual couples, the only significant disadvantage that such a child may face comes from societal homophobia that may cause the child to be rejected at school by peers because of the beliefs of other students and their parents, and that in all other cases children raised by homosexual parents are actually more likely to be supported and well cared for because of the significant amount of planning and preparation that homosexual parents must go to in order to have children (whether through adoption or surrogacy). I look forward to having a good, civil discussion with anyone who would like to comment on these points. I do not mean to offend, but only to inform. Please be considerate and polite.
  • Bradley on Leviticus 1 - 11 years ago
For anyone who uses the Bible as a source of oppression towards homosexuals, not only are you reading the Old Testament out of context, you are also reading the Bible out of context. There is a difference between what the Bible says, and how it reads. If we are to persecute homosexuals based on the Bible, then we should also equally persecute people who eat shrimp, people who mix linen and wool cloth. And any time you see the word "abomination," look at the history of that word. It does not mean something is evil, or innately immoral. It just means it is not the traditional route, based on the time period that the Bible was written. Please be intelligent about interpret the word of God. And if you refuse to read past a 5th grade reading level of the Bible, then just respect your fellow people and let them sin however they sin.

Spirit and the Bride have said come. The Bride is a born again spirit filled woman. The day, month of her parents’ marriage September 6th was the beginning of her soon to be conception. Born 9 months later in the year 1959 in the 6th month, June at 12:21 p.m. on a Wednesday. The day her doctor announced the day of her birth would be the 12th. She was brought forth from her mother’s womb on the 10th. After you read this, turn all the words like June into a number. It will be 6, being it is the 6th month of the year. Now take the numbers in this paragraph and divide each one by 3 as well as the words you have turned into numbers. You will see that every word turned into a number and the numbers all can be divided evenly by 3. There are no remainders. The 10th is separate. It does reveal the first letter of who she is, the letter is a "J". It is the 10th letter of the alphabet. This name is Jerusalem. This was discovered 25 years ago. This woman is alive. One utterance said by her and the Holy Spirit is this: "Come forth my children, do not go to Satan, he will give you death, come to me for I offer you life. Satan is nothing, has nothing, will always be nothing; for I am the Almighty." Please listen to the call.

REVELATION 19:8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness... Jeremiah 30:6, Ask and see. Can a man give birth to children? Then why do I see every strong man with his hands on his stomach? Each of them is acting like a woman having a baby. Every face is as pale as death. Revelation 19:2, For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand. 3: And again they said, Alleluia. And her smoke rose up for ever and ever. 4: And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia. 5: And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great. 6: And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thundering, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. 7: Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honor to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. 8: And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. 9: And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God. Who is SHE Who is his wife of the Lamb? Is it those he calls out of Babylon? When he says Come out of HER my people and it was granted unto HER to be arrayed in fine linen. In new testament it says John 3:29, but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoyceth greatly because of the bridegroom’s voice: This my joy therefore is fulfilled. He who has the bride is the bridegroom and John the Baptist is a friend of bridegroom and it speaks of guests at a wedding so the guests cannot be the bride.. So when it refers to the bride of lamb it is referring to something other than the guests. A special invitee to him or his wife as in a real marriage like the marriage at Cana. He said he served the best wine for last, at the request of his mother and he says to his mother, woman what have I to do with you for my time has not come yet. Very odd thing to say to his mother? On cross he says to John behold thy mother. In Genesis it says, a man shall leave his father and mother and cleave to Wife. In New Testament it says concerning the church this is a Great Mystery concerning Christ and the church that he gave himself up for HER. In Revelation 18, Great Mystery refers to Babylon and come out of HER and it was granted to HER in chapter 19 to be arrayed in fine linen. Is HER referring to those who come out of HER mystery Babylon in prior chapter? Or is this a literal HER a literal feminine aspect of God? Let us create man in our image male and female. Like 2 creation stories. In the first story Adam and eve are created simultaneously. In second story Adam is put to sleep and a woman is created from his rib. Could this creation be referring to woman's creation After the fall? In Revelation it also says a great sign appears a woman clothed with the sun and she is ready to give birth but it can’t be referring to Mary, could it be referring to a second birth? First was physical birth of Christ in Mary or humanity. Second on is referring to a spiritual birth of Christ in her or human kind? The New Birth? But to me it seems to be some feminine aspect that has not been revealed yet. This wife or bride is different than the guests referred to. A called out of Babylon few or a literal feminine aspect of the divine? It takes both a male and female to give birth to children. Could there be something we have missed? Does a man give birth. Jeremiah 30, Ask and see. Can a man give birth to children? Then why do I see every strong man with his hands on his stomach? Each of them is acting like a woman having a baby. Every face is as pale as death. Jeremiah 30:7, How awful that day will be! No other day will be like it. It will be a time of trouble for the people of Jacob. But they will be saved out of it. This is referring to end times. Who is wife it cannot be the entire church of Babylon. It has to be the ones he calls out of mystery Babylon in prior chapter or a literal femine aspect.

I think this chapter is saying - If you have power you can act in vile and despicable ways, Rape and murder, lies and duplicity are OK by him, but be poor or powerless and you're damned, or at least doomed.... I presume the Lords of this time used chapters such as this to underline their absolute power, whilst simultaneously cowing the rabble. Its obvious which side God is on, despite his 'displeasure' its not David that suffers, its Bathsheba and her poor husband.
  • LauraBabora on Leviticus 18:22 - 11 years ago
I would just like to point out... THERE IS A PASSAGE THAT SAYS WEARING TWO DIFFERENT MATERIALS OF CLOTHING IS A SIN, YOU'RE ALL SINNERS. & No Christian can tell me that they abide by that rule because none of you do. Also, sleeping with another man before you're married is a sin. Guess most Christians are AGAIN going to hell for that. There are MANY contradictions in the Bible. I am Catholic & I believe in God. That doesn't mean that I praise the Bible like it is the almighty source of information. Many of the contradictions go against what I've been taught that God says we should do. Many of the passages in the Bible are contradicting to another passage so therefore, what do I believe? So, in the end, I put the Bible aside & say to myself that as long as I am a good person with good morals, who does not kill, who does not steal, who does not commit any big wrongful crime, I am going to be okay & God will accept me. God will love anyone... NO MATTER what sexuality they choose to love. Therefore, God will love me in the end. I believe in God. I believe there is a Heaven & Hell. But I do not believe he will punish someone for something as small & intricate & mundane as loving the same sex.

Solomon was black. Caananites were of the sons of Ham who is father of black/negro race. Ham-Cush, Mizraim, Phut, Caanan. Judah first wife was canaanite(black). David had 4 sons (including solomon) with Bathsheba (Canaanite/hittite). Solomon was black. hebrews were black already. If Ham was father of black/negro race then Noah or his wife had to be black. A white man and white woman can never produce an african child. They lack melanin so no matter how long they stay in the sun they will never be as black as the darkest african. Why would got create a race that cannot withstand the sun? Hence the effects of white skin and sun=sunburn(red skin), skin cancer, sun spots. Its a no brainer. dominant traits of original man is brown skin/black hair/brown eyes. Look at all the other races in the world. European white man is only thing on this earth other than animals that have naturally occuring different color eyes. Look it up!
