One of the trivia questions askes how many generations listed from Abraham to King David. And their correct answer is 13. Well if you read Matt 1:17 it says So all the generations from Abraham to David are 14 generations. I like to do these trivia questions but i am also alert when it comes to something like this. Always be sure you read your bible while taking this trivia cuz whoever came up with this made a mistake. And it happens. This is just so you'll know! God bless
In your quiz you chose the correct answer to be god mad him sick and he died. However, he feel upon his own sword on purpose so the correct answer should of been he committed suicide. Thanks so much for taking the time to read this. May God bless and keep you.
Don't do things for wrong reasons. Enjoy your labor as you are taking care of what God.Jesus has given you. Do not be greedy with what is freely yours as a blessing from our Lord.

I do not believe Christ was poor He Just didn't cart a lot around with Him If He Was Poor why would he tell us that we would be supplied? Matt ^ tells us how we will be clothed better than Solomon The word also tells us if we are obedient he wii bless us with abundance
What do you think Jesus meant when he told satan, "It is written, thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God"? He was telling satan that he could not tempt him to make him fall to satan's wiles. That he was not going to fall. The entire temptation in the wilderness was so the flesh man of Jesus could be brought under submission of the Spirit of God which dwelt within him. It is the same for us today, we must bring the flesh under the subjection of the Holy Spirit and we do that by not giving in to whatever tempts us. It does not say that God cannot be tempted, it says he should not be tempted. Big difference.
this commentary was beautifully written to explain the scripture regarding the needs ofour souls, and how through prayer, we can obtain God's daily provision which stregthens us and provides fulfillment. As I mentioned yesterday,I really like the way this is presented, and even after the commentary is read, I have a chance to further reflect by sharing. I am happy at the humbelness and openess offered in this invitation.
Specifically, I was guided by your illustration of our daily bread.

The book of Genesis, particularly the first chapter about the creation of the world, is one of the most beautiful manifestations of the greatest of Almighty God. As a teacher and a born again believer in Christ, who is extremely interested in the study of "the natural sciences", I cant help but wonder at the beauty of nature, which is undoubtably solid proof that God truly exist, in all his magnificent glory.
The whole text of Genesis 1: 1-31 proves that God is God of all Gods,LOrd of all Lords , king of all kings that has the power to do what ever he wish.HIs power is limitless that no human being could understand or percieve. So as human being we has no right to doubt his capabilities as God. In Muslim they call it "Qun fa YaQun"meaning whatevewr God wishes to do no one could ask him or prevent him in doing so.Even John [the Baptist] sed "If God wish to give his son from a piece of stone he can do so". So as human beings absulutely we know nothing about God ,the same way we dont know our own selves[where does it came from and where it is going]precisely GOD KNOWS BEST WHAT IS GOOD FOR HIM AND HIS CREATIONS.OUR LORD IS A GREAT GOD NO QUESTIONS ABOUT IT...
The Lord God will have no mercy on those who sin against him and the Lord God even told his people that he would send his only Son Imanuell to come to this earth and yet they did not believe him and still many do not believe in the Lord God or that he sent his only begotten Son to die in our place oh what a wonderful Saviour we have if we seek him with all of our hearts we willl Find him and he will live in our hearts if we only Believe in Gods word and put our Trust in him I truely love him with all my heart and Soul and he loves all those who are steadfast and our obedient to God Almighty what a wonderful Saviour we Have

Richard, you probably misinterpreted Paula's note (I deleted your comment as it seemed inappropriate). She may be referring to either verse 19 or 20 or 24. Here's another translation:
Because Joseph her husband was a righteous man and did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly.
..Or the fact that he agreed to commit to marriage thereafter. Joseph seems to have good characteristics from what I see.
Paula dear, reverse discrimination is not pretty. Sorry you appear to catogorize "men" as singularly grouped as not following Joseph. Apparently you have been less than well treated by "men". I,a man, will pray for your healing.God bless, Richard

what i have learnt so far in all if we cast all our burden unto God He shall surelkly make a perfect way for us. i have also covered that as christians shoud always humble ourselves under the wings of God. Because in his own time He raise us Higher and Higher.
David is asking God to search his mind and heart so that God may see for himself that his anguish and remorse is genuine and his trust and allegiance is in him; for he knows God will not listen to insincere prayers or unjust complaints.
will god forgive me?
