The question is really a bit of a red herring .

For who's will did Eve do and for that matter Adam as well?

Having said that ,angels have free will as does man for how then could they do not Gods will?

Man has free will in a very limited sense according to his nature .

But is it not written that all men are " led captive at the devils will"?

In truth Jesus declared He came not to do His will but the will of Him that sent Him "

Is anyone bold enough or foolish enough to say Jesus was not a free man?

But consider this if you will. He was born in the time frame the scriptures said he would be born

In the place he would be born .

He was born to die .

He lived according to the scriptures .

Was rejected and suffered according to the scriptures .

He died according to the scriptures was buried and rose again according to the scriptures .

He is coming again according to the scriptures .

He came to set the captive free .

If any man wants to be truly free he needs must not do His own will but the will of Him ho begat him again n and through Jesus Christ .

In terms of free will; God not only has a plan that predestinates our eternal future; but also knows the decisions we are going to make. The parameters that are available now are within a set plan as to the length of time on this earth; and the extent in which we will make an impact; either for God or for our own foolish ventures. After this life; however there is nothing we can do on the earth once our flesh is destroyed. Job 1:21 makes that point clearly. We end up with a spirit that either curses God forever for our fate; or that is reconciled and worshipping God in heaven.

We should look at the Lord as Himself being the ultimate example of free will; as He willingly sent His son to die in our place.

As with any other characteristics that man has (such as physical appearance and temperment) that are individualistic; it only makes sense that He desires men to freely make decisions and that His plan works with that. All those He loves He chastens ( Heb. 12:6; Proverbs 3:12; etc). This necessitates a positive or negative response to our actions by the Lord and enables Him to work all things to the good that love Him; even through our mistakes ( Romans 8:28).

Ultimately; we are either servants of the Lord or slaves to sin. As a slave would have an awl go through his ear to indicate voluntary servitude for life ( Deut. 15:17); we have been crucified with Christ as believers and our lives are not our own ( Gal. 2:20). The whole world in contrast is under the power of the evil one ( 1 John 5:19). The god of this world ( 2 Cor. 4:4) is busy deluding those who are unregenerate. What is certain is that every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord ( Philippians 2:10-11). That will be now; when we are free to choose this based on the revelation the Holy Spirit has given us; or too late for the unbelievers who will then be forced to do so and their free will overruled. May we repent now on this side of eternity instead.

We absolutely have freewill , we must remember this awesome fact though , God is all knowing from everlasting so....He already knows us intimately before we are even born , therefore He already knows you and me and exactly what we are and what we will do and say and become , hopefully closer to Him every day . He already knew that you would believe in Him ! He loves you a lot !

I listen to line of Judas on YouTube and this website and I tried to make sure that I'm very careful I do feed the spirit everyday try not to feed the flush as our country I look around and things are not the way they should be but like some comments we have free will from the time you wake up in the morning from the time you go to bed at night you have a choice free will you either serve the Lord 5% today 10% 15%, 20%. That's my thinking we're all borrowed time my Lord knows it I haven't done a good job and so with him I've known him for I think 27 years I think try to be very careful because I know he he hears everything he's right here I do not want to get in trouble with him oh by the way by the way Jesus Christ he wins at the end

There are differing ideas about the free will of man. Some, (Calvinists) ,believe that man's will is so corrupted by the sinful nature that no one can choose to love and serve God in faith. Therefore God must always do all of the work of salvation in any person He has predestined to be elected to salvation. This is termed as monergism.

Others, (Armineans), believe that man's will is corrupted but totally so (as Calvinists believe) and that man in his sinful state can cooperate with God by choosing to believe the Gospel once God provides the grace needed to draw a person t believe in Jesus by the power of the Gospel message heard or read. This is termed as synergism.

That being said. We can consider the reality of man's volitional abilities further. God is the only completely free Being. Only He is able to do anything He wills to do. All other beings are created and, though possessing some measure of volition, are able to make choices within the limits of God's sovereignty.

When God created mankind, He chose sovereignly to create mankind in His image. Part of this "image of God" is having a volitional will. God, who is also all and only good and righteous, cannot sin nor can He create sin, nor does He tempt anyone to sin. However, since He deemed in His infinite wisdom to create a universe with beings, spiritual and earthly, who can make their own choices on matters given to them to decide. For, God, He could have created angels and mankind without volition, thus preventing evil and sin from ever happening. But, in order to show the perfection of His Being in the exercise of His mercy, grace, love, justice, righteousness, and wrath, volition needed to be part of the abilities of the beings He created.

Romans 9 is a good chapter to read about this. All that God did in creation is for the objects of His mercy, (us) to be recipients of His mercy, and for us to forever appreciate and marvel at his mercy in light of what we truly deserved, which is His just wrath.

To a great extent God allows humans to make choices while He decides or determines how He will respond to those choices. S sinner can offer the sacrifices God commands or not, but the consequences of disobeying God are severe.

    Leviticus 1:3

If his offering be a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without blemish: he shall offer it of his own voluntary will at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the Lord.

A free will is one who is able to hear and do the will of God.

The more you hear the more you shall do!

This is His will for all!

Being free is the unity of the spirit with the will. This the flesh, it will not allow this freedom.

Being free is knowing this, while overcoming the flesh!

This is the battle that we wage, an endless battle!

The more battles we win, the more freedom we gain.

Only through the savior are we able to conquer!

This is the true freedom. There are those who wish to know these things, but cannot, they are still in bondage, and think they are free?

Bondage is the opposite of free will. If you are not free, then you are in bondage. This bondage , the very chains that hold the evil angels reserved unto the day of judgment!
