I agree that the simple behaviour of men who worship other spirits and things than the true God are to be rejected as false. I have seen the mild mannered sadhus and priets who walk about barefooted and barefaced teach things that ought not be taught, including privileges of the so-called "holy ones" to have access to the women who come to the temples in early mornings, etc. Teachers who say they love God and walk (in false humility) contrary to righteousness and to the teachings and life of the Saviour, and exploit people of earnest faith in God, will be abandoned to eternal darkness, and the lake of fire, though I do not understand there terms fully, but they set terrible alarm-bells in my spirit.
Hello, Colossians is one of my favourite writings in the Holy Bible. Colossians is great to share with people and study. Colossians is short in length and not as complicated as many of the longer New Testament writings. Colossians chapter three verse eleven addresses: the equality of all mankind under God and Jesus. Colossians chapter three verse thirteen addresses: salvation in great detail. Colossians chapter one verse 27 states: Christ is our hope of glory. In my own personal opinion, Colossians is a divine book buried in Paul’s work. Paul was in prison while writing Colossians; as a result, Colossians proves to show Paul’s enduring faith. The book should not be overlooked. This is a interesting webpage. Thanks for maintaining. -Alex

We often ask the question why do bad things happen to good people? The opposite of that is why do good things happen to bad people? God is a good God, and he causes his rain to fall on the just, and unjust alike. Also he causes the sun to shine on the just, and unjust alike. So thank
God that he is good, and will always cause all things to work together for our good to those who love the Lord, and are called according to his purpose. Which is Christ in you the hope of glory, and thank God that he has crossed out those ordinances that were against us by nailing them to the cross. So be careful of the philosophy of men, and be filled with the wisdom of God. Thank God for everyday, for each day is a holy day. We are called to be holy as our father in heaven is holy.
colossians 2 v 14The blood of jesus had blooted out ,( done away) with hand writings and ordinances(way its should be) written against us.This explains we are free or rather discharge and aquited.Having blotted out the evidences that initially made us quilty.
ITS MY FAITH AND BELIEF THAT THAT HOLY GHOST THAT WAS IN VIRGEN MARYS WOMB WAS OF THE FATHER. WHEN HE WAS BORN WITH THE CHILD HE BROUGHT WITH HIM AS GODHEAD ALL THE FULNESS OF GOD AS WHAT THE FATHER HAS SO THAT HE HAS TO DECLARE IN JOHN 10:30 I AND MY FATHER ARE ONE IT IS THE HOLY GHOST THAT SPEAKS THROUGH THE FLESH OF A MAN JESUS.
V. 21, "touch not, taste not, handle not" is defined as being the commandments of men which show man made religion, rather than an O.T. injunction by God. The previous v. challenges us not to be subject to such ordinances. Established churches in my own religious community have many such binding rules to help guide their members. After (don't associate with the world) comes (no cars allowed). Since modern tractors and wagons might be used to go to worldly places, more rules were needed. (No rubber tires allowed). Now abusive jolting of equipment brought on homemade tractor wheels with rubber in the structure to absorb the shock. More church rules needed. (Not over a certain percentage of the wheel may be of rubber). Do you see how such man imposed rules perish with the useing. Even well-meant religious rules eventually require more regulation, and the victims are distracted from new life in Jesus to worldly religion. This whole chapter 2 is devoted to contrasting; the kingdom of our Lord against the falacy of well-meant religion. James 1:27 gives a very limited description of pure religion that is not defiled before God. Let's keep our eyes on Jesus.
Mh what a message! This chapter is one of those chapters for growth especialy to the growing christians nowadays,it says in verse 6-7...as we have received Jesus Christ, let's walk in him, rooted and built up in him...".which shows that it's not only to just receive him in our lives but we must continue to live in him and be rooted and built up in him in order to grow in faith.you can also check John 15 for the same message!
In hebrews the 11th chapter speaks about a sabbath rest that is awaitng us. The old testament order it was a day, in the new testment it's a way of life. It is now written in our flesly hearts not of stone (old testament)It is walking in the SPIRIT OF GOD and not after the flesh. In the SPIRIT there is peace that passes all our understanding where you can find rest unto your souls.
paul told the people not to bother themselves about things which are shadows he didn't mean Sabbath is a shadow, Sabbath is included in the Lord's commandment,it is written by the finger of God therefore it is not a shadoww
As a Pastor and bible teacher for over 35 years, I have come to the conclusion that Colossians 2 contains a vital message for the church today. Verse 4 of this chapter says; "And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words." My strong recommendation for all born again, Spirit filled Christians is to study this chapter and other portions of the bible with similar messages.
i think this chapter refer to our believe in Christ,be vigilant and be sensitive, always remember the love of Christ for us and do what is right and pleasing to God...always remember God sees what we're doing all the time

We are perfect in Christ.
Man who is imperfect from Garden of Eden has now become perfect.
And most imp thing is we must make others perfect in Christ.
Pray for their sins to be washed away,
Sickness to be healed,
hatred to be replaced with love and peace.
And remember always the perfect person the Christ.
Praise be to Him always... bel
It is most important that one should increase in Christ to experience all that He had.
