Since God is far above as we read in Daniel 10 after answering our prayer in the Old testament ithere was a delay of 20 days cause by the prince of the kingdom of Persia, on that same note is there hindrance in the New testament from God to us.
So both versions are referring to angels, not Jesus Christ? What I am getting at is several YouTube channels are translating these scriptures to Jesus being black. I believe they have misinterpreted to justify themselves as being black. These words are metaphors like. head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow. Nowhere it says black. If the head is white then the body is white therefore Jesus is NOT black. Question remains who is that person. You said an angel, and you could be right. The black pastors identified him as black because it says .. And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace. That's where they painted Jesus as black because of the brass color as if they are obsessed with these specific versions. Finally, who is that person John and Daniel referring to really? That's why I ask you. How do pastors on YouTube make such conclusions that it is Jesus and he is black is beyond me. I can read metaphors but everyone's entitled to their own interpretations. Wool is not a reference to sheep hair or black hair texture as the pastor claimed. If they want to take wool literally than why don't they take snow literally? Snow on top of head that just fell from the sky? They are apparently stuck with "brass".
the prince of the kingdom of Persia; v.13 = The use of the title "prince" in The Old Testament is synonymous with that in The New Testament. If this prince is indeed an angelic personality, very possibly he is one of the chief angels of whom Apostle Paul identified as a "principality".
In the New Testament, the Greek noun (pronounced "ar-KAY") occurs in English Biblical translations as "principality" or "- ies". Apostle Paul is the primary New Testament writer who used "arche" to refer to living entities.
The term "principalities" identify individuals occupying the highest, supreme rank, and possessing power and authority equal to that rank.
While Paul may have referred to the Roman emperor and other political rulers of his day in certain contexts (e.g. Rom. 8:38; Tit. 3:1), he most certainly included the spirits of the angelic realm as well (cp. Eph. 3:10; 6:12; Col. 2:15), even Satan whose titles include "the prince of the power of the air" ( Eph. 2:2), and "the god of this world" ( 2Cor. 4:4).
No doubt, Paul also considered the eschatological Antichrist of the Tribulation Period, of whom "the dragon (Satan) gave him (the Antichrist) his power, and his seat {throne}, and great authority" ( Rev. 13:2). Paul even wrote about this Satan possessed "man of sin" (2Thes. 2:3-4).
Depraved man desires to replace worshiping JEHOVAH GOD with worshiping angels (e.g. Deu. 32:17; 1Cor. 10:20; 1Tim. 4:1).
The New Testament often refers to the angelic realm as "principality(-ies)" linking them with:
+ angels ( Rom. 8:38);
+ "powers in heavenly places" ( Eph. 3:10);
+ "the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places" ( Eph. 6:12);
+ "all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible (? angels?)" ( Col. 1:16).
All other New Testament usages of the noun "beginning" (arche) describe the first position in initiation, commencement, or sequence.
Daniel 10:13; Michael = The name "Michael" means, "Who is like GOD?" He is just "one of the chief princes", meaning he occupies the rank and status of an "archangel" (Jude v.9) as a chief or prince over a number of holy angels ( Rev. 12:7).
Some believe this Michael is the Old Testament identity of The SON OF GOD due to his description as "the great prince which stands for the children of thy (Daniel's) people (the Jews)" (12:1).
But this Michael surely is not The SON OF GOD, for he is described simply as "one of the chief princes" (v.13), implying there are many more angels that hold the position of archangel. LORD JESUS CHRIST, The KING of kings and LORD of lords, would not occupy a title designation of equality as simply one of the chief princes.
The reader may correctly assume that Michael champions GOD's Purposes for Israel and the Jewish nation as just one of his responsibilities. Compare the expression, "Michael your prince" (v.21).
Hermeneutics may interpret this expression to identify Michael as an archangel rather than GOD HIMSELF or HIS MESSIAH/CHRIST. The verb "help" certainly implies a rather benign insufficiency in comparison to GOD's Omnipotence.
The reason for Daniel mourning in chapter 10 is not specified here, but if we look at chapter 9 we can see he had a great burden for his people and longed for the day when they could return to Jerusalem. He humbled himself and sought the LORD, confessing his and Israel's sin, and implored the LORD according his mercy to fulfill the number of days of their captivity.
You'll do better to google The book with a verse. So you can see a sermon that was preached on that. Read the website names and pick one that is Christian, and not a false religion
In my Bible, at the top of the page, it lists the chapter speaking on: The Messiah Fortold.
The portion you question goes from Daniel ch 9 verses 16-37 are talking about the destruction of the temple and the end of sacrifices. Jesus is our sacrifice.
Chapters 10-12 begins the prophesies concerning latter days, the Antichrist 11:37
Paul, I'm unsure where you want to take this line of enquiry, but to attempt an answer: as mentioned, God is Spirit, but He is also the Creator of all things, including natural & physical laws. Re: is God Energy? If by this you mean that He expends energy in His Being or in His Activity, then as a mere human with limitations in understanding & revelation, I would say, No.
In man's understanding, Energy can be divided into fourteen types, or more, which includes mechanical, electrical, magnetic, gravitational, nuclear, thermal, sound wave to name a few. If we try to fit God's Being into any of these types, we will always fail, as God is God & is not subject to any limitations or production of energy. One could argue that since He is Light or that when He speaks or moves, then surely energy must be evident & expended. The error here is that all energy that is produced, is dependent on either mass or existence of matter/particles that lead to energy's production. And God does not fulfil any of these requirements, simply because He is Spirit, the Invisible God (to our eyes), & not subject to the laws that are a part of His Creation & to which we mere earthlings are subject to.
I believe time is relevant to matter. God created on a time table. He calls humans very good. Probably before we start our sinning. Jesus is like the Great sin eraser. I think repentance is the motion to erase sin. This is not written in the Bible...I didn't get to put my book in there.
Paul, time & matter are connected, but only if you bring in space & energy into the equation also. Through a series of hypotheses, one can prove this relationship where motion in space must also be a factor. But if you're not interested in the physical laws or hypotheses in your question, but more concerned with the aspect of time in God's eternal framework, then matter only exists in His Creation, & time as a result of His Creation. Without His Creative Work, neither matter nor time can exist: just emptiness. God is not matter, but is Spirit. As such, He is not subject to nor constrained by physical laws. All our demonstrable physical laws are a part of & result of God's Great Design, so physics is simply an examination of those laws, but faith gives understanding & acceptance of God's Wisdom in the design of His creation & the laws which prove it.
To PAUL: Yes. Genesis 1:1 explains what all scientists are trying to explain or discover:
Time. Force. Action. Matter.
It's already discovered that the universe is moving away from earth.
I believe as described in Ezekiel 28 and Genesis, that something huge hit the earth. The earth was void; dark. Lucifer (before he was named satan) was the Big Bang (my guess). No one has been able to determine how long Lucifer and the 1/3 of the evil angels who were thrown to earth were in the void; creating pre-adamic people's, dinosaurs; all we have about it, is bones, How long? Time had not been set in motion YET.
Time was created for man, otherwise we'd live forever. Next God created Light. Jesus said that He is the Light of the world. In beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God. God the Father, Jesus the Son & the Holy Spirit ARE the LET US in verse 26.
I think there would be much knowledge put together rightly if scientists (some of them) would accept that Creation makes more sense, than evolution with no God it. Early scientists were Christian, fascinated with what they were discovering about earth. Even I can see why satan was upset with God receiving the credit. He lost his deed to planet earth at the Cross of Jesus; the Son of God. All Satan is now is a destroyer of the life that comes from God. He tried to get permission to kill Job, but God would not permit! He thought he had killed Jesus, but Jesus was resurrected and that was recorded by many witnesses alive then. Thanks to the Pharisees that had Roman guards posted by Jesus's tomb till Sunday. Jesus's tomb is on display every day..empty!
The Book of Revelation is Truth and a final Battle will be fought between Jesus and Satan. It's all going to happen as written.
I ask all unbelieving scientists WHY wouldn't you want to live eternally in New Jerusalem, and see, study...what happens NEXT?! Why wouldn't you want to meet the CREATOR of everything? He'd love to meet you :)
The first thing God did was create TIME. He is the Alpha and the Omega: the beginning and the End. Original language here says 'In Beginning'. Not: In The Beginning
God exists inside and outside of time. He sees everything.
Ok. I see where you could be confused here. When I come to understand these pages in the Holy Scriptures (66 books combined written by 40 different holy men of God) I did not get at first either. Through much prayer and receiving Jesus in to my heart as the Holy Spirit moved, I was shown these understandings. God Father, Jesus (Son) and the Comforter or Holy Spirit are actually 3 persons who were together in the beginning as the scripture says. That is why God the Father says let us make them (man and women) in our image. The Son as who is Jesus in John 1:14 And the Word or Jesus was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory as of the only begotten of the Father) full of grace and truth. Some things will be shown to you as you grow and trust in the Lord with all your heart. It's a growing and learning experience. I have done many Bible studies over 45 years of my life. God is faithful to keep his promises. He asks us to study and search his words as you are doing. Some will always be learning and not receive the knowledge. We have to have faith to know the things of God. He will guide as he searches the heart of a man. I enjoy reading Corinthians 1 and 2 books. These books were an eye opener for me. Through the Holy Spirit the Lord can talk directly to you in visions and dreams just as he did before. That is real. It happens more than people know. This is a faith builder and it will strengthen you for what is coming in the future events. I personally love reading Daniel and Revelation. These books are another realm in itself. I hope this helps you Paul. May God continue to impress these truths upon your heart and may God bless you.
It depends. Where does that originate from? In Genesis the first book of the Bible it reads: 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the Earth. 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 1:2 The same was in the beginning with God. 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 15:26 But when the Comforter comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceeded from the Father, he shall testify of me. Is this the Trinity you are referring to? The only (trinity) I can find in Gods written word.
he is also Almighty all knowing Eternal omnipresent and omnipotent which means he's not afar off. Gods word uses
figure of speech which are grammatical explanations to define God which we can better understand Him because
He is spirit. That's why example Isaiah 66:1 Heavens His throne thrown earth is his footstool so he's got long legs
and feet right nope its attributing to God human characteristics. Also God is a fountain of living water, God is not
a man that he should lie. God is my fortress, my shield and buckler. These are just some examples. So when it
comes to prayer humbly ask believing and ye shall receive, he knows what you need before you do.
who at that time ere in bondage to the King of Persia and Daniel was being given revelation or revealed
knowledge from God on present and future events. Also be aware of individuals in general that interpret the
scripture to make it fit what they believe, its called private interpretation 2 Peter 1:20+21.

Daniel 10:13, 10:21, 12:1. Gabriel is the messenger angel and Michael is the fighter for Gods people.
