    God will allow killing when he knows your enemies are going to kill u its his job to protect his own.he knows his children . Sometime we say people are saved and they are not.just because u act saved do not say u are when u are saved u do the works of God and your life speaks that only God know what need to be done not man
  • Geraldine cole on Deuteronomy 1 - 9 years ago
    God only allow them to kill their enemies because he knew they were going to kill them.he does not want us to kill anyone but he will not allow u to be a target of your enemies.the same thing goes for the world system if some one break in your house and u kill them that is call self defense u will not go to jail for that so when your enemies have a plan to hurt u some time God will shield u from the trouble only God knows what action u need to take because God not only knows your hart he know y ur enemies hart as well. when a person get kill u may say o he was a preacher or a Christian the question is were they really saved just because u act saved go to church preach do things in church that do not mean u are saved the good that u do cannot saved u .u must be born again we cannot fool God we can fool man and women.No weapons form against God children will proper Amen

    Hello Gina Garcia Psalms 121 1 and 2 " A Song of degrees. I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth ". Stay encouraged. Knowing that the rapture is soon to come for those who are covered with his blood, by following Acts 2 38 is what keeps me going as well.

    Do not judge people no matter who they are, respect as you want to be respected. God is not judgmental but He judge accordingly and protect us from enemies.

    I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS SCRIPTURE BECAUSE GOD WANTS TO BLESS HIS PEOPLE WITH ABUNDANCE IN EVERY AREA OF OUR LIVES HEALTH PEACE JOY AND IN OUR FINANCES BUT WE NEED TO BE CONNECTED TO THE SOURCE GOD THROUGH HIS PRECIOUS SON JESUS I LOVE THIS SCRIPTURE OF DEUTERONOMY 1 11 BECAUSE IS INDEED A HUGE BLESSING AND WHEN YOU WRITE THE NUMBER 111 YOU GET THE BLESSING OF THE FATHER THE SON AND THE HOLY SPIRIT AND WHEN YOU ARE CONNECTED TO THE THREE YOU GOT IT ALL

    What i got out of Deuteronomy Ch. 1, What God has for you is for you. You must believe and not faint. He is not a man that he will lie. But when we rely on our own thoughts after God has appoint our foot steps we will go wrong and and it will take longer to get what it is he has for you.
  • Bettie on Deuteronomy 1:11 - 11 years ago
    The Lord has promised to bless us a thousand times more than what we already are. We, the saved of the Lord are the righteousness of God in
    Christ Jesus. He that freely gave his own
    Son how much more will he freely give us all other things. Jesus paid it all. Only believe.

    God is now giving unto Israel his promise which was made to Abraham a land of milk and honey even though still in unbelieve.
  • Damiano on Deuteronomy 1 - 11 years ago
    In the book of Deuteronomy,it's clear that the old testament was entirely meant for the Israelites unlike the believe that it was and still impact on the current generation.
  • Patty on Deuteronomy 1 - 11 years ago
    My comment is that the Lord had aquired them a land that they could and can overtake, but because of their unbelief in God seeing all that He has done for them still had doubts in Him, a journey that had to be for eleven days took so many years and still not get to enter it is very sad, the same is for us today.believing in God and His promise that He will return what will we do??????
  • HeLovesMe on Deuteronomy 1 - 11 years ago

    The best way is to ask of GOD FIRST BEFORE WE ATTEMPT ANY move GOD is guidance in everything we want and have LORD'S GUIDANCE
  • Mandy on Deuteronomy 1 - 11 years ago
    @Chris
    Do what God says do the 1st time. After all the Israelites had been delivered from, they still could not trust God. A whole generation missed out on the promise land. Mose's missed out on the promise land by not following God's direction.

    @Sincere,
    That’s our perception as human beings in our limitations. But God is above all and knows all. The Bible here is just telling this round, but no one knows how did those people get that land.
    God knew the practices of those people, their practices were bad in God’s sovereign sight. God knew they were getting worse and worse, so He took the resolve to remove them from that land. But not before they reached unacceptable levels, Genesis 15:16.
    And that is not because He liked Israel and disliked those people. But because of their misdeeds. God does not choose people; “…God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.” Acts 10:34-35.
    The proof is that Israel himself got corrupt in the course of time and ultimately suffered same consequences. Because there is no preference with God.
    We judge about what we know, unfortunately we don’t know all. So let’s listen to God who knows everything.
    God bless you.
