Hello Heir: What you have said is very interesting. It may seem hard to imagine why someone would be willing to forgo the wonderful blessings God promises them for the terrible curses they ended up suffering. But if we look at the way the world has been and how it is now we can see that the human heart is so terribly disobedient to God. Most people don't want to be on that straight and narrow path that takes them to heaven, they would rather be rebellious and have it their way. I do praise God that we are on the path that leads to heaven.

I noticed you mentioned that you have never heard priests preach on this chapter. Are you a Catholic? I was raised by a Catholic mother but in my experience I found the religion shallow and hypocritical. Please don't be offended. I know there are a lot of Catholics who love Catholicism. The reason I am asking you this is, frankly, I hope your answer will be no because this religion doesn't tell the truth of salvation; that it is by the blood of Jesus Christ ONLY. I hope I hear from you so we can discuss this more. I love you in the Lord and I am hoping you are a child of God. God Bless :)

This book is describing the transatlantic slave trade. And they would be sent into Egypt Again, which means this particular nation of people have had a history of being enslaved prior.

Me Personally have been going to church my entire life and not once have I ever heard the Priests, Pastor's preach this book in complete.

Which Is why most don't understand even though it's clear who the people are the book speaks of and who claim to be but are not.

The most high Yahweh leadath Israel into captivity in Egypt for disobeying his laws and sent Moses to being them out but they hardheaded Israelites continued there disobedience of his laws so the most high sent them into Egypt again this time on ships with yolks of iron upon thy necks sold to thy enemies separated from there children never to see them again given names and nationalities of the gentiles so they would no more be known as Israel and would work on pagan gods of the heathen so they will be broken.

In Deuteronomy 28 it warns that Israel could go too far away from God and end up eating their children. Has this ever happened? Or is it a prophecy?

Deuteronomy 28 has nothing to do with Cain. What exactly are you talking about?
  • Ezekiyah - In Reply on Deuteronomy 28 - 3 years ago
If skin color doesn't matter why did they paint him white.

    1 Maccabees 3:48

"And laid open the book of the Law, wherein the heathen had sought to paint the likeness of their images."

    1611 King James Version (KJV)
  • Ezekiyah - In Reply on Deuteronomy 28 - 3 years ago
I'm saying Everybody in the book is black except the ones cursed with leprosy and the Romans. Job 30:30

"My skin is black upon me, and my bones are burned with heat."

    King James Version (KJV)

    Isaiah 29:22

"Therefore thus saith the LORD, who redeemed Abraham, concerning the house of Jacob, Jacob shall not now be ashamed, neither shall his face now wax pale."

    Song of Solomon 1:5

"I am black, but comely, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, as the tents of Kedar, as the curtains of Solomon."

    King James Version (KJV)

There is more. Israel is in North east Africa. There were no such thing as middle east. If so where is middle north and south.
  • S Spencer - In Reply on Deuteronomy 28 - 3 years ago
    Hi Ezekiyah.

I think you should Know. Many try to receive the inheritance by flesh.

That's all color is! It's Flesh!!

There is no inheritance to flesh but Death.

There was nothing special outwardly about Abraham when God chose him,

GOD WOULDN'T HAVE CHOSEN HIM IF HE HAD ANYTHING TO ADD TO WHAT GOD WAS ABOUT TO DO WITH HIM.

God made a people out of a Adamic cursed Gentile, Entered a covenant with him, "And Promises".

The Lord has been parading that Nation for years TO MAKE A NAME

( FOR HIMSELF ) NOT THE JEW OR GENTILES!!!

So whether black or white, Red or Brown,

    it means nothing.

When we're fighting over color we are closer to the first Adam than the Second!!

The World was and still is divided because of the curse of the first Adam.

AND WILL INHERIT HIS CONDEMNING DEATH. "You will surely die ".

The Church is formed and brought together by the second Adam and a fulfillment of the promises!!

    And He brought Eternal life.

Galatians 3:28-29. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

    I hope this helps

    God bless.
  • S Spencer - In Reply on Deuteronomy 28 - 3 years ago
    Roy!

My understanding is we were all under that Adamic curse.

The scripture doesn't label people by color as we do today, Isaiah 14:2 speaks of future that Has Not been fulfilled yet!!

You let this guy uncover you!

I think he's wrong in is beliefs and so are you!!
  • Roy - In Reply on Deuteronomy 28 - 3 years ago
The descriptions you offered is of a TRANSFIGURED Jesus. Supernatural Jesus.

Your theory has holes in it that can't be patched up by cherry picking scripture, or taking scripture out of context. You can listen to a thousand scholars that teach a black Israel, but that doesn't mean they are correct. The Deuteronomy 28 curses you quoted were for Israelites; the curse of Canaan was for his descendants who were stationed in Africa. You are conflating these 2 separate curses to fit your hypotheses. Your people spent 400 years in slavery at the hand of the house of Israel; US/UK & Ashkenazi Jews ran the slave trade out of Liberia. This fact can't be denied.

Scholars are educated people that do not have the keys to unlocking the truth. If you want to believe Christ and the rest of Israel were black, that's on you. The black man that carried Jesus' cross was pointed out for being black while in Jerusalem. If they were all black, why point it out, it would be a mute observation.

Please study this more in detail, we can visit it again in a month or so.
  • Herbert Taylor - In Reply on Deuteronomy 28 - 3 years ago
    Adam,

I concur with what you have said, except the black man's plight does matter and is worth seeking discovery.

We're split concerning the real Jews of Judah, who wandered and lost their identity, and the false Jews of Khazaria. The Khazar's are Ashkenazi Jews of Japheth ( Genesis 10:2-3), from a 740 AD mass conversion. They are not Semitic, and they live in the tents of Shem. They are European, not of middle-eastern origin. They are WHITE, not olive, and have blond hair and blue eyes!!! The Jerusalem post had a huge write up on it years ago verifying their DNA as European. The current supplanters of Israel are in fact Khazars. Jesus called them the synagogue of satan, ( Revelation 2:9) and they behave just like their wicked partner, America.
  • Roy - In Reply on Deuteronomy 28 - 3 years ago
It is very plausible that Cannan, who resided in Egypt, when deeper into Africa and impregnated black women. Canaan's seed landed him a black heritage. The curse brought slavery, and Canaan served his brothers as an outsider.
  • Adam - In Reply on Deuteronomy 28 - 3 years ago
Hello, that respectfully is a straw man argument. The verse you posted if you read the previous verse says "purer than snow, they were whiter than milk." And it doesn't say 100% of all Israelites were black and live in Africa. This effort comes across like a desire to fulfill a desired outcome rather than praying to God for understanding and reading the Bible with an open heart. God bless.
  • Ezekiyah - In Reply on Deuteronomy 28 - 3 years ago
What color is olives? Either black or green. I haven't seen any green people. Go read the

Lamentations 4:8 Their visage is blacker than a coal; they are not known in the streets: their skin cleaveth to their bones; it is withered, it is become like a stick.
  • Ezekiyah - In Reply on Deuteronomy 28 - 3 years ago
Have you ever read Zondervans compact Bible dictionary? Because theses scholars said Ham is the progenitor of the dark races not the negro. What a unscholarly statement you made.

    Revelation 1:14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;

Revelation 1:15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.

    What color is burnt brass?
  • Adam - In Reply on Deuteronomy 28 - 3 years ago
People's skin color shoudn't matter. I've heard people saying they wish the Israelites were black, because they are black and would make them feel good being on the 'same team'. I reject this ideology- this sounds like something you'd hear on a propaganda channel like CNN. Skin color is irrelevant and continuing to bring it up only seems to divide people. Would you love Jesus any different if he were white vs black? If so, you should question the motives.

Jews 2,000 years ago had an olive complexion and 2,000 years later they still have an olive complexion- which is a medium skin tone. Jesus was a Jew and therefore likely had an olive complexion just like most everyone else in the middle east. People spent much more time outdoors and walking long distances so they were likely dark. They were not black and they were not white. Israelites were sent to Canaan which is where Israel is today. I think a verse is being misinterpreted in order to create a theory to get people to be a desired skin color.
  • Glenn - In Reply on Deuteronomy 28 - 3 years ago
God , created all the races on the 6th day ,.. an in the last verse of chapter 1 , God looked an it was good,.. Ham , having relationship with his mother,.. would not create a different color, on the 8th day , God created Adam , an from his DNA , created eve ,.. farmers, blood line from which the Christ would come through,..

    peace
  • Roy - In Reply on Deuteronomy 28 - 3 years ago
Are you saying that Jesus was black? Ham was the father of blacks, and was not Semitic. That is the curse blacks bear, not something bestowed upon Israelites.

For one thing, when Jesus comes back he will be transfigured Jesus, full of brightness, neither white nor black. If He returned as He was in life, He'd look the same as the Arabs, His cousins.

I have soundly refuted such claims through scripture as opportunistic taint. It appears similar in text, but it's not prophesy for blacks as they have their own Ham/Cannan curse. Isaiah 14:2 sees the house of Israel (US/UK) holding blacks slaves as they once held Israel captive 400 years in Egypt.

Blacks carry the curse of Ham (was the father of black people)/Cannan. Gen 9:25 And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren. 26 And he said, Blessed be the Lord God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant. 27 God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.

Solomon wrote about an Ethiopian queen, which is poorly misrepresented as something it's not.

If all you have is Deuteronomy 28, and famous black people saying they are Jews for popular reasons, that will not fly. It stands that you can take scripture and twist it to your liking, and believe a falsehood.
  • Ezekiyah Yisrael on Deuteronomy 28 - 3 years ago
These verse prove who the Israelites are today. And it is not the Germanic Ashkenazim Jews. They fit none of these curses. However, there is one group of people who fit and live these curses even today. The so called African American fit these curses. It is clear that identity theft has taken place and the world has been lied to. The Yahudiym are black people. Its going to be a terrible thing when Ha Mashiach returns and the world won't recognize this powerful Black messiah.

To know what is in the Bible
  • Theoderrick - In Reply on Deuteronomy 28 - 3 years ago
This truth does not need constituency to be relevant and as far as what you think I'm eluding to....IT'S WRITTEN...!

Satan and his serpent seed is always carousing...

MATTHEW 15:24- " I was sent ONLY TO THE LOST SHEEP OF THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL."

ROMANS 9:3- 3 For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh:

    4 Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises;

5 Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.

6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:

7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.

8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

9 For this is the word of promise, At this time will I come, and Sarah shall have a son.

    10 And not only this; but when Rebecca also had conceived by one, even by our father Isaac;

11 (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;)

12 It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger.

13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.

1 MACCABEES 3:48 - And laid open the book of the Law, wherein The heathen had sought to paint the likeness of their images.

MALACHI 3:6 - For I am the Lord, I change not: therefore ye sonnes of Iacob are not consumed.

    2 ESDRAS 6:56-:59

    ISAIAH 40:15-17

Now, there are many point of views that an individual can conjure, I let the Bible tell me who is who...how come you folks wont let YAHUSHA have his real image instead of Biblical leprousy? This is what I would like to hear from you...!
  • S Spencer - In Reply on Deuteronomy 28 - 3 years ago
    Theoderrick.

Romans 2:28-29. For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:

But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Galatians 3:26-29. For ye are all the CHILDREN OF GOD BY FAITH IN CHRIST JESUS.

For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

    God bless

The last paragraph that the individual wrote does not refute the spiritual content of The Most High testament about his people.Tell the public when the jew-ish people were enslaved and bloodline tainted by other nations? They read from the Babylonian Talmud and yet they overcome their exile. They are lenders not borrowers...and they turned white....! According to the Biblical narrative, they are not supposed to be in Ysrael until Christ return to put them there...and not to mention they don't believe in him.

YAHUAH says that he will scatter to the four corners and gather as well even the house of Yahudah th that was sent into slavery which is the trans-Atlantic slave trade. Joel 3rd chapter.
  • Chris - In Reply on Deuteronomy 28:68 - 3 years ago
As you would have read this chapter in entirety, the Lord God promises blessings or curses upon Israel, depending on how they behaved towards Him. Verses 1-14: the blessings (the good things from the Lord) & verses 15-68: the curses (the evil things from the Lord).

So, in verse 68, the thought here is: just as you (Israel) were brought out of Egypt by God's mighty Hand of deliverance, taken triumphantly & miraculously through the midst of the Red Sea & eventually brought into the Promised Land as a free people of God, so to, God will do the opposite if you refuse the Lord & disobey His Commandments. Instead of deliverance, Israel would be sent back into slavery. And from research (as Josephus reports), Emperor Titus, who ransacked Jerusalem & the Temple in AD 70, also did heinous things to the Jews - many were killed by his men or mistreated very badly. Thousands (the young & fit among the Jewish men & women) were sent into slavery in Egypt, going chained in ships. But there were so many of them, that the Egyptian markets were filled with Jewish slaves, so their price was either very low, or they remained unsold. This very sad event appears as a fulfilment of God's Promise to those who despised His Word throughout their generations & in spite of their captivities to the Assyrians & Babylonians earlier on.

I repeat, the above account of Israel's slavery in Egypt, is not in Scripture, but from the historians, one of whom was Josephus. And this account has nothing to do with those sent to America as slaves.
  • Sharon on Deuteronomy 28:68 - 3 years ago
The problem or maybe the changing of the meaning what is the problem because it reads like YAHUAH will take Israel back by ships, but this time no one will buy us. When slave came to America they were brought and sold. So is there a going back as slaves, but no one will buy us?
