Discuss 2 Chronicles 19

I have taken that to be wisdom especially when we think to highly of someone & they fall into sin. Putting too much trust in man, woman, their position or title, for example. This was advice maybe through experience.

    Proverbs 6:30, Proverbs 6:23-26,

Hopefully these scriptures are also helpful in reference

    Genesis 25:34, Hebrews 12:16, 1Samuel 25:10-38,

    It is also commanded

    Leviticus 19:15, Proverbs 24:23, James 1:1-10, Colossians 3:25, Ephesians 6:9, Job 32:21, 2 Chronicles 19:7, Deuteronomy 16:19,

Example Luke 20:21, Matthew 22:16, even when trying to trap Jesus they testified that HE wasn't a "respecter of persons"

Jesus was tested by this Luke 4:2-4,

Is it also coincidence that it was a piece of bread that was given before betrayal by Jesus? John 13:18,21-27, John 6:33,

Although we fall continually from His path, I praise the Lord for His continued protection and love for us. May I receive Godly rebuke well as well a king Jehoshaphat did in the prefect Name and Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Praying for our nation's leaders during this Pandemic, social, economic, and political unrest. May we all turn to the salvation of the Lord Jesus Christ, for there in lies our hope, peace and comfort.

God bless all, and may the Lord's face shine continually upon us daily.

Christians are to love all people? So are we to love satanists?

David a man after God's own heart said the following

Psalms 139:21 Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?

2 Chronicles 19:2 And Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him, and said to king Jehoshaphat, Shouldest thou help the ungodly, and love them that hate the LORD? therefore is wrath upon thee from before the LORD.

Read that again why don't you.

Matthew 7:6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

Deut 23: 17 There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a SODOMITE of the sons of Israel.

18 Thou shalt not bring the hire of a whore, or the price of a DOG, into the house of the LORD thy God for any vow: for even both these [are] abomination unto the LORD

    Romans Chapter 1:

26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

    28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

That is true the closer you get to the Lord the more enemies one accumulates. Yes we are to pray for OUR enemies.
Praying for the enemies of the Lord is another matter.
2 Chronicles 19:2 And Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him, and said to king Jehoshaphat, Shouldest thou help the ungodly, and love them that hate the LORD? therefore is wrath upon thee from before the LORD.

Yes we are commanded to love OUR ENEMIES. So do you love Satan? We are not to love the enemies of God.
King David said: Psalms 139:21 Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?
2 Chronicles 19:2 And Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him, and said to king Jehoshaphat, Shouldest thou help the ungodly, and love them that hate the LORD? therefore is wrath upon thee from before the LORD.
So feel free to love satan and his followers all you want, I pass on that.

This verse highlights that it is not wrong to warn your fellow Christian of a wrong course. I know many people today do not want to be told when they are doing wrong, or believe that it's a personal matter between them and God. However, the people here were encouraged to help their brothers and sister and WARN them. If they listened or not, then that was up to the individual.

"Deal courageously, and the LORD shall be with the good." 2 Chronicles 19:11 The king's commandment to the Judges was that they judge righteously according to the LORD's judgments, and NOT man's. The king, in an honest heart having received the Word of God in the Prophet's rebuke; and so applying it first to himself, in turn as Captain and Shepherd of the people, taught them likewise how to walk.

The 2 chronicles shows how the Lord God has been good with the people of Israel even with there unbelieve mind and there worship of other gods. God still raise a helper for them in there distress situations.using the prophets to send message to them and yet they find it difficult in believing and trusting God.
