I see a shadow of accountability for the church age, and how fast one can turn when lifted up by pride to idols....

Hi Sharron Many times in the old testament the children of Israel and judah Worshipped and at Times built obelisk and Groves on Hilltops and burn't sacrifices and literally in some types of worship had orgies to other Gods of unbelieving nations namely Baalim , Ashtoreth, Molech, The Queen of the Heavens, Sungod, these are just some examples. Many times these sacrifices included humans.

Amaziah should have remembered the words of King Solomon:

Proverbs 26:17: He that passeth by, and meddleth with strife belonging not to him, is like one that taketh a dog by the ears.

With God, there is no loss. God has capacity to give much more than we can ever imagine. So whatever I have given or forfeited for His sake today is not lost. He will give me back so much more. Yes, He will.
