The Scriptures about the Godhead. Sometimes called "Let Us..." in some passages. These scriptures are evidence of all 3 persons of the Godhead speaking to each other.

    Genesis 1:26, 3:22, 11:7

    Isaiah 6:8

    Romans 1:20

    Colossians 2:9

    Acts 17:27-30

    1 John 5:7

    John 10:30

"For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made (us), even his eternal power and GODHEAD so that they are without excuse:"

    Father Purposes

    Jesus speaks the Word

The Holy Spirit (action) accomplishes it

If you are born again, the Holy Spirit seals you; He is the Spirit of Jesus Christ. He indwells you. Comforts you. He is your Teacher. He anoints you to understand scripture. He is your Helper. He is gentle, and kind. He reveals Jesus to you.

    Hey Pastor Ronnie,

Let's examine some verses here in context and you can see some of my answers on Adam's post.

REVELATION 3:19 --> "As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent."

First of all, this is a letter to the CHURCH. People who are saved already. They are not told to repent of sins, but rather to turn their ways around. This is the Church of the Laodiceans which was lukewarm: neither hot nor cold. They are divided in what they say and they don't have any stand. They say they are rich and need nothing but in real sense they are poor and miserable and blind and naked! Jesus is telling them to repent (to turn) from saying false things to saying truthful things.

ACTS 17:30 ---> And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:"

It just says, "REPENT" and not repent of your sins. Paul was in Athens and saw a lot of idolatry. He saw that they have altars to all their gods and another altar written, "to the UNKNOWN GOD" in v.23. He tells them, "God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things; (v. 24 and 25) What are they to repent from? They should repent from thinking that God dwells in temples made with hands or thinking He is worshipped with men hands or thinking that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device(v.29) and to worship Him in spirit and truth.

1 John 1:9 says, "If we confess our sins...". Confessing our sins is not the same as repenting of sins. Confessing is admitting that you are a sinner, because in the same chapter v. 8 it says, "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us." Whereas repenting is to turn form what you are doing wrong (sinning) to do what is right.

REPENTANCE NOT NEEDED FOR SALVATION - ONLY BELIEVING

You can believe what you want to, but here are some more scriptures that you have left out? Matthew 3:2 ( And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.)

    Luke 13:3

I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

    Matthew 4:17

From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

    Acts 17:30

And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:

    Revelation 3:19

As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. Acts 3:19

    Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

There is a lot more! Matthew 5:19 (Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.)

Thank you for your reply my brother Earl,

I very much appreciate your time. As your reply lead me to do some reading about the "resurrections". Us in Christ being part of the first resurrection having no part in the lake of fire or "second death". Revelation 20:6.

As our Lord Jesus Christ being raised from the dead is our confirmation that there shall be a resurrection of our actual physical bodies. Acts 17:24-31.

In that the second resurrection is for all the people quoted in Revelation 21:8 as you stated. Those who are not with Christ.

As you have stated before "all shall worship God" with Scripture of it. As it is detailed in the Book of Enoch this is also correct though it shall not save them. From the second death or the lake of fire.

62.5 And one half of them will look at the other, and they will be terrified, and will cast down their faces, and pain will take hold of them when they see that Son of a woman sitting on the throne of His Glory.

62.6 And the mighty kings, and all those who possess the earth, will praise and bless and exalt Him who rules everything that is hidden.

62.7 For from the beginning that Son of Man was hidden, and the Most High kept Him in the presence of His power, and revealed Him only to the chosen.

62.9 And all the mighty kings, and the exalted, and those who rule the dry ground, will fall down before Him, on their faces, and worship; and they will set their hopes on that Son of Man, and will entreat Him, and will petition for mercy from Him.

62.10 But the Lord of Spirits will then so press them that they will hasten to go out from before Him, and their faces will be filled with shame, and the darkness will grow deeper on their faces.

Do you agree with these Scriptures?

As I also just want to be clear in what you believe the "second death" is. That this is where those souls/spirits will be separated from God, and us, for eternity? Or something else?

    Thank you brother Earl.

Dear Martha, God is manifest in three persons, The Father, The Son, The Holy Spirit. You are made in the image of God. Spirit Soul and Body. ( 1Th 5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.)

Just as you are three beings in one person, God is three persons in one God. Objects in this world have three dimensions. Water can be liquid, solid and gas. It is water. Light can be felt (infrared) seen( visible) and damaging to your skin or eyes(ultraviolet) It is all light.

Yes Jesus is God and has a special function in what is called the Godhead. Acts 17:29

I understand your son's reluctance to work on a day set aside to rest in God. Have him read Romans 14:1-12

Those who are" in Christ", have entered into his rest (sabbath). Jesus said come unto me and I will give thee rest.

Jesus is the sabbath for those who believe on Him for salvation.

Hope this helps.. God bless you richly.

    Tom,

Although it is very easy to twist the scriptures from our English bibles because English is a very general language and very easy to twist, a person who speaks of a Godhead is not twisting scripture at all. In our English bible, there are many words that have multiple meanings, and that's why we often debate and have disagreements on what the English text actually is saying. We have to keep in mind that what we are reading in our English text is a translation from Greek.

As you say, the word "Godhead" is not found in the bible, at least not in our English bible. But I would argue that Godhead is found in the bible. It is found three times in the King James.

Acts 17:29 says, "Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the THEIOS (English translation=GODHEAD) is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.

Romans 1:20 says, "For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and THEIOTES (GODHEAD); so that they are without excuse:

Colossians 2:9 says, "For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the THEOTES (GODHEAD) bodily.

So Godhead is found in the scripture. It's in these three places I just shared with you.

I was taught that Adams name means, Man. Eve's name means, Man with a womb.

Adam and Eve were of flesh, soul and spirit up until they ate of tree. Then the spiritual connection was severed.

By being Born Again, Jesus restores that spiritual connection through the Holy Spirit who indwells us.

Using the Search Box on this website; type in the words, Trinity or Triune. Those 2 words ARE NOT in the King James Bible. Cover to cover.

If you type GODHEAD, you'll see 3 scriptures be fetched by the search engine. Read these.

    Acts 17:32

Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.

Comment: people will buy paintings of the Godhead and decorate their walls.

    Romans 1:20

For the invisible things of HIM from the creation of the world are CLEARLY SEEN, being understood by the things that are made (us), even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

    Colossians 2:9

For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead BODILY.

Comments by me. Genesis 1:1 is clearly understood. God Wills; Jesus (The Word) speaks; the Holy Spirit performs. "Time. Force. Action. Matter". Four things all scientists have tried to explain throughout time. Earth is the only planet that has water.

Christians have the mind of Christ. We're all enabled to see the Godhead at work; on earth and in our lives. How? The Holy Spirit indwells us in our born again spirits and teaches us the Word of God. Seek and you will find.

If we can just read the Bible and accept what is written in it; believe, apply to our lives; and like little children do: believe what God says about Himself. If you doubt or debate, you're in a ditch. Your faith is a shipwreck.

God is on the Throne. Jesus sits at the right hand of God, making intercession for The Saints of God. That's us. The Holy Spirit is present on Earth, PERFORMING what is in the mind of Jesus Christ.

How hard is that to understand? The Godhead works together every moment. A Bible ENCYCLOPEDIA shows all of the Holy Spirits names. There are many. Learn all of them. Praise and worship that He is at work in your life. Do not grieve or quench the Holy Spirit.

    'Sacha'!

    Thank you again.

We are instructed to believe Jesus came 2000 years ago and said, "Repent: for the kingdom of Heaven (on earth) is at hand" Matt 4:17. At hand means within reach. If we were to believe that we are waiting for the first coming of Jesus that explains the condition of human kind today. It also explains why Christianity has failed to convince all people to repent and bring heaven to earth. It explains why we have 3000 divisions within Christianity when truth should be the same for all people. It explains why many of those divisions will marry and ordain the gays, even thought they know God destroyed S&G. Even though they know God never changes. He is the same yesterday, today and forever.

Jesus brings a law, the Law of the New Covenant and he tell us who needs to listen to the Law. Isaiah 1:10: "Hear the word of the Lord, ye rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, ye people of Gomorrah. This is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the Lord" When we put these lying children behind the pulpit we hear no truth. But Jesus will be the truth made flesh. His truth will heal our land.

Acts 17: 30, "And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commanded all men every where to repent."

Repentance is the trans of a Greek word metanoia-mentanoeo, meaning to "have another mind", "to change the mind", "a change of mind in respect to sin, of God, and of self."

Rev. 3:19, "As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent."

God does love all humans and he comes to teach people to hate evil and to repent." The day of the Lord will come. I just don't see any evidence that he came 2000 years ago.

    I hope that explains my

Hi Rodney, I did post a reply to your similar request yesterday. Maybe you haven't seen it, or you might be looking for further comment from others. I do hope you get other views to help you with your enquiry.

Rather, than repeat what I wrote earlier, I would add here: that the early Church may have picked the First Day of the Week as the day to come together to worship the Lord in remembrance of their Saviour's resurrection on that day, as well as a show of further segregation from the Jewish Law. Of course, the Sabbath was being adhered to by the Jews, & indeed by Paul in his ministry to them (as in Acts 17:2). But it appears that believers no longer observed the Sabbath for worship (maybe it was still a day of rest though), but they came together on the first day of the week ( Acts 20:7), now being referred to as the Lord's Day ( Revelation 1:10).

In ministry in Pakistan, Friday is the Muslim's rest day & for a more dedicated worship & preaching in the mosque. As Christians, we had to fall in line with this day & so our corporate worship time in a Church Fellowship fell on a Friday. Some Churches still held a Sunday service, though that was not well attended, as most were required to work. So, any day that is selected can be used as a corporate day of worship, seeing that for the Christian, every day is alike to come before the Lord; but as ordered by the Lord, one day in the week still needs to be set aside as rest, for the health & recuperation of the mind & body. So I find it strange that an insistence for a Christian having to observe a Saturday Sabbath as necessary, as the Jews do, when that is not only meaningless for us but also demonstrates one placing himself back under the Law. I also wonder how well that believer observes the Sabbath: does he refrain from buying, or working in the garden, or dealing with an urgent repair job at home?

To your other question on observing the correct day of rest from the days of Adam & Eve, I wrote about this earlier.

    Acts 2:46

And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

    Acts 2:47

Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord ADDED to the church daily such as should be saved.

    Acts 5:42

And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.

    Acts 6:1

And in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplied, there arose a murmuring of the Grecians against the Hebrews, because their widows were neglected in the daily ministration.

    Acts 16:5

And so were the churches established in the faith, and INCREASED in number daily.

    Acts 17:11

These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

We need to check in daily with ACLJ dot com to see what Petitions need signatures

Regarding, the House Democrats that are trying to close American Churches, BAN singing in Church, penalize Church members not wearing face masks! Even going so far as penalizing Christians who have Home Bible studies!!!

Our Constitutional Freedoms regarding Churches are going away because of lack of information, not signing Petitions to stop these illegal actions,

Complacency, inaction and not "getting involved" for whatever reason. THIS is the Church that Jesus shed His Blood, to plant in the Book of Acts. It's Biblical; It's the KNOWN Will of God, through Jesus Christ.

So, WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO ABOUT JESUS?

The Senate isn't doing this atrocity. It's Nancy Pelosi (who said on camera that she's a devoted Catholic and doesn't hate anybody)

....and her personal gang of "yes men and women".

I think it's time the Church rose up and protest by holding up signs by the roadsides....AND SINGING

With face masks of course. We need to show we are not going to let them win!

I STRONGLY SUGGEST WE DO NOT ARGUE ABOUT THE GODHEAD

    Genesis 1:1, 1:26, 3:22, 11:7

    Isaiah 6:8

    Romans 1:20

    Colossians 2:9

    Acts 17:27-30

    1 John 5:7

    John 10:30

There is only 10 scriptures Proving it.

    Romans 1:20

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

    Colossians 2:9

For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

The Godhead speaking to each other, in Scripture:

    Genesis 1:26, Genesis 3:22, Genesis 11:7

    1 John 5:7, Book of John 10:30

    Acts 17:27-30

The Godhead represents The Father, The Son of God, the Holy Spirit.

Comment: many people argue on this and this is a case of: Let God be true and every man a liar. Don't twist scriptures to validate your theories.

Jesus left heaven to come to earth and His name was the Son of man: fully God and fully human. He set aside his power to begin life as a baby, child and at age 30 he began his mission: to teach, make disciples, heal the sick, cleanse the leper's, cast out demons, doing good.

He was put on trial for blasphemy: saying he and His Father are ONE. He was judged and ordered to be crucified. He even saved one of the thieves he was crucified next to. Buried 3 days and then He walked out of the tomb! Many people went on record having seen him walking around after resurrection. It's recorded in the Bible and human history books. His ascension back into heaven was eye witnessed. Later, Jesus knocked Paul off his horse, blinded him but other people there HEARD an audible voice speak to Paul. It was Jesus!

Flash back to Pentecost: the Holy Spirit of God appears in the Upper Room as a roaring Wind and everyone receives His Baptism! It spills out into the street and everyone is hearing their own languages spoken! Many people were saved that day. He is spirit, so he is invisible; but unmistakably present in our world. He reveals Jesus to common people every day.

Life is EXCITING! Why would anyone turn down so great a salvation? Copy this down & preach it to family and friends.

    Stop procrastinating!

Thank You ALL :-).Unthankful Lucifer} And we the abiding, good and faithful, inherit all he coveted for in Ephesians 2:6, Psalm 91:1 & 14,15,16. KJV

I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Jude 20 so very important to treasure folks, and neglect not. Difference between Spirit and GHOST / and communion of, and fellowship with/ believe 131 times and believeth continuous, 39 times,

Prov 14:15 The simple believeth every word: but the prudent man looketh well to his going. Berean Acts 17:11 kjv. So satan has largely ensnared the the church into less true intimacy and flow of revelation is weakened, and now told to bow ones head in prayer then suggests we are approaching notfessed up and sanctified, so gifted boldness of gifted faith is gone misleading millions of the immature into confusion and hands + head down, powerlessness. Romans 1:4. Feigning Christianity, Popal biased Westcott and Hort have strewn their tare seeds of division, no greater hoax (other than declaring later versions are better than the KJVs scary consistency & excellence in placement of spirit & Ghost, ye or you, believe or believeth etc,etc ( Phillippians 1:9,10,11) of the tried and true KJV), has scarce been pulled off since Rome calling itself 1st Christian Church, and how sick ! is that. But our gracious *FATHER GOD* lets the seeker know the seasons by calling the 666 Vactool Luciferase. Come let us adore *HIM* *CHRIST JESUS Our Magnanimous (LORD* and ineffable *SAVIOUR* Psalm 66:2 Sing forth the honor of his name: make his praise glorious.

Amen and Amen, *JAH* is *HIS* Name, the perfect Dad.*JESUS* *DADS* Brightness. Ordinances such as Galations 6:6 and Hebrews 3:13 are not shared meat in our fellowship. But now, since that my last demon, frustration was renounced. And settling Ephesians 2:6 aligns with Psalm 91:1 + 14,15,16. The challenge of obedience in all things must be.*G* B U who follow on eagerly Jude 20.
