I'm one of those people too! :)

I was interpreting a natal horoscope to a Methodist (on Yom Kippur); when the Lord appeared in a vision! I was in shock with conviction. I got my 25lb tv Bible and started reading all verses about stars, astrology, the death penalty for doing those things. I confessed I deserve to die.

Then I saw a vision of hell in the floor. Dense, dark, twisting roots, screaming; vile, unclean, loathsome! I stood on a chair.

I sensed a Hand being held out to me, from the ceiling. I could not see it, but I was convinced it was there. I reached up and closed my fingers.

I fell into the floor but hell had disappeared. I was delivered from who knows how many demons. If you serve satan knowingly or even unknowingly, you are in-dwelt and oppressed. I passed out.

I woke up, day 1 with the Holy Spirit. Everything looked the same, but I knew it was different. I cleaned "house" all day of everything occult. I filled a 35 gallon trash can with occult books, encyclopedic, planet and star charts.

I dragged it all into the garage. I didn't know I needed a witness. 2 days later the Methodist came back. I told what happened: I was saved. We rejoiced. I drag the stuff out to the patio; with charcoal lighter and matches. It was a metal can, I lit it up. No one called the fire dept on me.

ACTS 19:19. The Holy Spirit was helping me walk out the New Birth. Earlier that day I poured out booze, flushed lots of pills I was sorta planning my suicide with, pot, cigarettes.

Next day I sat on the sofa waiting for the DT's to kill me. Got sleepy went to bed. Next day, same thing. Third evening I realized I had been delivered from detox and withdrawal. Talk about joy and happiness!! I was going to live and declare the Greatness of Jesus Christ all the days of my remaining life.

And here I am, born again, blood washed, over-coming child of the Most High God. Holy Spirit filled and educated. Choose Jesus Today.

Part 2 Bible plan for tongues

    Acts 9: 17, 18,

Paul, called Saul then, who wrote a lot of the new testament, recieved the Holy Ghost.

    1 Corinthians 14:18:

Paul mentions he thanks God he speaks with tongues more than you all!

Paul wrote chapters 12, 13, and 14 about spiritual gifts, the proper use of speaking in unknown/other tongues.

    Acts 10,

a man name Cornelius, a gentile, a devout man of God, who prayed always to God, had not yet known of or recieved the Holy Ghost.

Peter was sent to him and his household by the Lord, he preached to them the Gospel, and the Holy Ghost fell on Cornelius household, all gentiles! The bible says because they heard(visual sign and sound)them speak with tongues and magnify God! Then they were baptised! Acts 10: 44 - 48.

    Acts 19: 1 - 7:

Paul came to disciples of John, asking them if they had recieved the Holy Ghost SINCE THEY BELIEVED! They said they never heard of the Holy Ghost! Paul laid hands on them, when the Holy Ghost fell on them, they spake with tongues(Visual sign/sound). They were baptized in water.

    In conclusion:

    Mark 16: 17,

    Isaiah 28: 11, 12,

    John 3: 5 - 8,

Jesus spoke of a new birth to enter the Kingdom of God; a Water and Spirit birth/called the Holy Ghost.

    He said there would be a visible sign;

like wind you cannot see, but there is a SOUND.

In his Name believers would speak with new tongues.

Isaiah prophesied this would be the rest/refreshing for the people.

In the book of Acts this is fullfilled consistently when the Holy Ghost was poured out!

God's Spirit in you: the rest/refreshing, a visual sign of his presence in you, speaking from your heart out of your human mouth a new heavenly language, pure, beautiful and Holy!

    Greetings in Jesus' name, Richard,

In every instance when a Christian received the gift of the Holy Ghost after the New Testament began in the book of Acts (the first Church), it was always accompanied with speaking in another tongue (Samaritans: Acts 8:16-18 , Gentiles- Acts 10:46, Jews- Acts 19:1-6).

This is the proof or earnest (token) of a Christian's inheritance ( Ephesians 1:14).

This was prophesied by the prophet Isaiah

11 For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.

12 To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.

With all due respect, a Christian does not receive the gift of the Holy Ghost and is not sealed thereby the moment they believe as many lying pastors/theologians teach (along with other false doctrines like the "trinity" "once saved always saved" "purgatory" etc). Likewise a feeling of peace is not evidence you have received the Holy Ghost. While I do agree there are many that speak false tongues in emulation (primarily in the "Pentecostal/Apostolic" businesses), that does not invalidate the real thing.

May I ask you Richard (in Christ), have you been baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins ( Gal. 3:27)?

    Sincerely,

    Andrew

    Water baptism. Part 1

From the very beginning in the bible, water separates or divides from something: Genesis 1: 6, 7.

When God set apart people for himself, he used water to separate you from something to bring you into something else.

In the old testament, Moses and the priest had to wash with water to be sanctified for service.

Want to show how many scriptures(not all) are showing how important baptism is!

    Ezekiel 36: 24 - 27:

God takes the unclean, sprinkles clean water on them, and they shall be clean. Puts his Spirit in them and calls them his people!

    New Testament:

John the Baptist baptized with water, also baptized Jesus that the scriptures would be fullfilled:

    Matthew 3: 11, 16.

    John 1: 26 - 33.

    Luke 3: 16, 21.

    Matthew 28:19:

Teach all nations to baptize in Jesus name.

    Mark 16:16:

He that believes and is baptized shall be saved.

    Luke 24: 47 - 49:

Beginning at Jerusalem, repentance and water baptism(remission of sins) preached in Jesus name among all nations.

    John 3: 5 - 7:

Jesus taught you must be born again of water(baptism) and Spirit.

    John 13:10:

Jesus washed his disciple's feet with water, calling them clean.

    John 19:34:

Jesus dead on the cross; soldier pierced his side, out came BLOOD and WATER.

    Note:

    1 John 5: 6, 8:

Jesus came by WATER and BLOOD.

There are 3 that bear witness in the earth: Spirit, water, and blood. These 3 agree in one.

One what? - One new birth.

    Continued next text.

    Acts 2:38:

Baptized in water for remission of sins to be saved. Jews first, then gentiles.

    Note:

    2: 41:

3000 souls were baptized to be obedient.

    Acts 8: 36 - 39:

    Philip baptized eunuch in water.

    Acts 9:18:

    Apostle Paul is baptized.

    Acts 10: 47, 48:

Peter baptized Cornelius and his family.

    Acts 18: 8:

Chief ruler of synagogue believed on the Lord(many with him) got baptized.

    Acts 19: 1 - 6:

Paul baptized certain disciples in the name of the Lord Jesus.

Continue to water baptism part 2.

  • Eating Heavy Bible Every Day on Genesis 2 - 3 years ago
I can't believe what I am seeing in here. I can read whole books of the Bible every day. I turn off the phone, the tv, get a large water and pray that my eyes and heart be open to the Holy Spirit.

He's our Teacher. Book of John 14:28,

    John 16:13-14, 1 Peter 2:2,

    1 Corinthians 3:2

If we're not quoting scripture like The Son of God, what are we learning?

Acts 19:15 And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; BUT WHO ARE YOU?!

This is what we need. More Christians quoting scripture like the Son of God.

I have visions ok. I had this one of me as a baby Christian: I was sitting on a chair by this big table. I had my arms on the table pulling food into my mouth. Everybody's face looks like disgust. Then I hear and see Jesus laughing at the head of the table. He was pleased. I wake up.

Jesus likes to see a healthy appetite!

If I sound kinda rowdy it's because I'm from Texas. If we all ate the Bible like Texans can pack on some barbecue, we'd all be firing scripture like the Son of God.

When Jesus was in the desert, fasting 40 days and nights: he was challenged by Satan. Jesus said, IT IS WRITTEN: and He fired off the appropriate Scripture. He defeated Satan each time. We can too. We're his disciples too.

Just as St Paul and his new Disciples preached their new Christian beliefs without fear, then so much more should we do; as members of our already established religion and given support from our congregation members.

At this terrible time, during the world-wide pandemic; surely now is the time to strike and bring back into our Christian family, all of those that have lost faith, or have been misled into joining false or plagiarised versions of the one true faith.

  • Healing from God or Magic - In Reply on Tobit 6 - 3 years ago
There is a distinct difference between those that practice magic and those that treat people medically. Many cultures have both, even to this day.

If we are sick we go to a medical doctor of medicine. Not a witch doctor; not those who practice voodoo, etc. To do so, will invite demonic manifestation or death.

"The Jews seem early to have consulted the teraphim (q.v.) for "oracular answers ( Judg. 18:5, 6; Zech. 10:2). There is a" remarkable illustration of this divining by teraphim in Ezek. 21:19-22. We read also of the divining cup of Joseph ( Gen. 44:5). The magicians of Egypt are frequently referred to in the history of the Exodus. Magic was an inherent part of the ancient "Egyptian religion, and entered largely into their daily life." "All magical arts were distinctly prohibited under penalty of death in the Mosaic law. The Jews were commanded not to learn "the "abomination" of the people of the Promised Land (Lev." 19:31; Deut. 18:9-14). The history of Saul's consulting the witch of Endor ( 1 Sam. 28:3-20) gives no warrant for attributing supernatural power to magicians. From the first the witch is here only a bystander. The practice of magic lingered among the "people till after the Captivity, when they gradually abandoned" it. "It is not much referred to in the New Testament. The Magi mentioned in Matt. 2:1-12 were not magicians in the ordinary "sense of the word. They belonged to a religious caste, the" "followers of Zoroaster, the astrologers of the East. Simon, a" "magician, was found by Philip at Samaria ( Acts 8:9-24); and Paul" "and Barnabas encountered Elymas, a Jewish sorcerer, at Paphos" (13:6-12). At Ephesus there was a great destruction of magical "books ( Acts 19:18, 19)."

"Heb. hartumim, ( dan. 1:20) were sacred scribes who acted as" "interpreters of omens, or "revealers of secret things."

The Bible teaches Healing; not magic.

Then if we cannot be saved from sin, I suppose Jesus lied to us when He commanded 2 different people in Jn. 5:14 and Jn. 8:11 go and sin no more. Why did Jesus die then? To save us in sin? What you state is not founded on the Bible.

Matthew 1:21 states "And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins." Here it says He saves us from sin not in them. When man or woman repents and gets saved, it is salvation from sin. At that time, God only addresses sin you have committed in the past. He doesn't need to address sin that is present, because those that really repent, do not sin any longer. They can choose to sin, but if they do, it is called backsliding. God also does not forgive sins in the future, because again the one that is saved is not committing sin in the future.

There are 2 definite works we must do to be saved and have the Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit. These 2 are the same holy being by the way. As I already said, you must repent and be saved from sin. Then you must pray to God to remove the carnal nature and infill your heart with the Holy Ghost. See this verse where Paul was ministering to saved but not sanctified souls.

Acts 19:2 "He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost." They were believers of Christ signifying salvation. Why would Paul ask the question if you automatically got the Holy Ghost upon salvation? The verse would not be needed if what you believe is true.

The one thing you did get correct, we stop sinning when we die. When we repent, and are saved, we are dead to sin. That is the salvation God accepts. So if you're still in your sins, you're lost, dead spiritually and will not make Heaven your home. Unless you repent and be saved from sin now.

Titus 2:12 says we live godly now. How can the sinner be godly? He or she can't. You're deceived and must repent.
  • David W Black - In Reply on Romans 7:21 - 3 years ago
A few things to realize about being saved. First you must have repented as Luke 13:3 says "I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish." Luke 13:5 says the same thing. Christ told man to repent. So what is repentance? It is a request made to God, you are confessing sins, you are saying you are sorry for doing the sin, you are asking for forgiveness, AND you are stating that your opinion and mindset towards sin has changed. Repent is to change decision or your mind. So repentance includes your future actions are not to commit sin again. It's not on us alone to shun sin. You have a need to be honest with God and you must do your part to distance yourself from sin. That part is described in 2 Corinthians 7:1 "Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God." Cleansing ourselves from filthiness is not forgiving our own sins, it is removing sinful things from our lives. Former smokers throw the cigarettes out. Don't keep beer in the fridge. Don't buy the adult magazines. YOU actively do not bring the sinful thing into your life, distancing from the sins is your job.

Secondly there's a 2nd work on your spiritual man that's needed. Sanctification. This is only for those free from sin via repentance, those that do not sin still. Prayer to God again, that admits you are carnal, that you ask God to remove the carnality, and to fill your heart with the Holy Ghost/Holy Spirit which is the same part of God. Paul asked this question in Acts 19:2 "He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost." Vs 6 same chap. "And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied." Speaking in tongues were needful then but not today & it's not a sign of holiness, but a life free from sin is.

I hope you know that most of us know the Book of Genesis, also. Much of what you posted is unscriptural.

If you read it at a snails speed, you might see your errors.

Your allegations about Eve having sex with anyone other than her husband (whom to God performed the first marriage), Is also unscriptural. Try reading all of the Geneologies. Cain is recorded as Adams firstborn.

    Isaiah 14:12-16 (description of satan)

11 Thy pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise of thy viols: the worm is spread under thee, and the worms cover thee. (Suit of worms)

12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I WILL ascend into heaven, I WILL exalt my throne above the stars of God: I WILL sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

14 I WILL ascend above the heights of the clouds; I WILL be like the most High.

15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

    16 THEY THAT SEE THEE shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man (devil) that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;

No offense intended, but I find your fixation on nakedness, wantoness, adultery and covering sex organs, shocking.

The entire Bible is about Jesus: Genesis to the last verse in Revelation. In fact, Revelation 22:18-19, tells us NOT TO ADD TO or, TO TAKE AWAY FROM, anything written in the Bible. To persist will get your part taken out of the Book of Life.

    I'll end with this scripture:

    Acts 19:15

And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?

  • Interrogating the Facts that are in the Bible - In Reply on Mark 1 - 4 years ago
You can Google that information and you will see differing opinions.

Fact is that all the disciples traveled with Jesus and witnessed the same events. That is why they are called, 'Harmony of the Gospels."

Four men saw the same things, and wrote of what they saw: with their perceptions and in their own words.

There may have been time differences of exactly when they wrote of what they witnessed. Every one of them were killed and I'm sure trustworthy people carried the manuscripts.

Apostle Paul wrote much of the New Testament. John who was imprisoned on Patmos, wrote the Book of Revelation; lived a long life and died in his bed.

I'm not the right person to debate who, what and when, with.

I believe the Bible as it is. Why? Because my salvation experience was all supernatural. It was a visual vision, but it was also in the present as I received deliverance on the spot. The Holy Spirit walked me through Acts 19:19, since I had been in the occult. I saw someone from heaven, and I got to see hell too.

I refuse to dispute validity! It's all real.

Ask yourselves why are you investigating the Son of God?

Faith believes what Jesus said. You can't please God without faith? If we think we can interrogate God; just as we interrogated our own President (for 4 years!!) and dig up some dirt? you are in danger of seeing hell too. I do not recommend it.

It is total darkness, no light. It's twisting tree roots, snakes worms and worse! It smells of rotting flesh; but it's empty. It is Unclean, filthy, polluted. Quiet. No sound yet.
  • Returning to Your First Love Days with Jesus - In Reply on Daniel 2:21 - 4 years ago
You need to read Revelation 2:4 and realize that you walked away from Jesus. I pray you still carry the joy of when you first believed, in your mind, heart and memories.

What you said sounds like the intrusion of the Jezebel Spirit. She is very wicked and manifestations of her works are sexual, often: rebellion and resistant to any Godly restraints. You must destroy her advances into your life.

Jesus is clearly calling you back to that First Love relationship with him. You need to repent of your deeds and remove the temptations Jezebel uses against you. Ask Jesus to help you. Read Acts 19:19.

Use the Search Box on this website and type in 'Jezebel' to see why God hates her works.

She afflicts women just as much as men.

There are men's ministries, that's all they do is help men get free from this. I think that website is Focus on the Family. I haven't looked at it; I listen to their radio ministry.

This is the result of the effects of the 80's when computers and chat rooms took over the world. How many lives have been destroyed? Marriages too. Children growing up without fathers. The last 2 scriptures of the Old Testament was written to fathers and their children. God is personally overseeing this prophesy; which I believe is still happening. Matthew 17:12

Turn around and come back to your Father God. You know Jesus is calling you.

I really and truly hope that my experiences will help others be freed from not knowing why they feel like the world is against them for some reason. It's everybody; not just one religion. The study of genealogies showed me that evil can work in the background, undetected, and innocent relatives are persecuted. When I was saved I was found interpreting reading on a horoscope I had calculated. My Methodist drinking buddy said it all seems to ring true, "but the Bible says it's NOT!" (Denies the Power of God)

The Lord appeared in a vision over her face. I saw His face looking right at me. I went into shock. My friend left suddenly. I might have creeped her out. I finally got up and fetched the one Bible I had, but had never read. I didn't know how to read it. It's like someone said to look up stars, then: astrologers, everything, till I saw the Death Sentence on them. I put my head on the Bible and said I deserve to die. That's when I saw a vision of hell. It was like snakes looking worms and roots. It was foul and nasty beyond comprehension. I stood on a chair. Minutes later I perceived a hand was held out above me. I didn't see it but I put my hand up and reached for it. I fell off the chair to the floor but hell was gone. I passed out but I know I was touched and delivered from demons. I heard me screaming.

I woke up next morning and I cannot describe the silence. No sound, just peace and calm. I had received the Holy Spirit but I had to learn who He is. It took half a day to rid my home of idols, occult books, drugs, alcohol. I dragged it out to the garage. Next day my friend returned and she was the first person I told I had been saved. I asked her to help me drag the can outside. I poured charcoal lighter over it and set it on fire. Acts 19:19. I dedicated it and me to the Lord. 36 yrs ago on Yom Kippur.

Jesus is alive and He is so powerful. Nothing can tear us out of his hands. The Bible is LIFE; living. No truth withheld. He is Truth!

When you prayed the prayer of faith, to receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior: you were sealed with the Holy Spirit THEN.

    1 Corinthians 3:16

Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

    1 Corinthians 6:19

What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

    Ephesians 4:30

And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

    Ephesians 1:13

(Jesus) In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

    1 Corinthians 12:3

Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.

Acts 2:38 - Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts 1:5 - For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.

Read all of 1 Corinthians 12, to understand the gift of speaking in tongues. If it's a gift you desire, then ask the Holy Spirit for that gift. Always covet discerning of spirits. A very useful gift.

    1 Corinthians 14: 1, 2, 4

For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh Not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.

GOOGLE the gifts so you'll know what each one of them is for.

The Holy Spirit is your Teacher. Always ask Him to help you understand what you are reading. You now have the Mind of Christ. He will instruct you through the Holy Spirits ministry to believers. Be still & quiet till he replies. You're going to fall deeply in love with the Spirit of Jesus.

    Hello John,

The answer to your question is "no". I've heard some "pastors" say that "the only way you know you have the Holy Spirit is if you can speak in tongues". This is not true. 1 Corinthians chapters 12-14 go over the one body of Christ and many of the diverse gifts of the Holy Spirit. How they are unique to all. Set upon everyone to His will.

From my own experience the most important thing is giving your life to Jesus Christ compassionately. Trust in the Lord. To take up you cross and follow Him with all your heart. Our Father knows our hearts and when we are ready to receive the Holy Spirit in the name of Christ.

    God Bless you brother.

The devils know Jesus Christ because he is their creator and Lord of all.

They knew Paul because he worked the mighty works of God by Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Ghost in him.

The sons of Sceva used the name of Jesus flippantly, not being submitted to Christ themselves and not having his Spirit within them. This left them wide open to the thrashing they received.

I trust your situation is different if you have trusted in Jesus Christ as your Savior and believed the gospel. There can be a number of reasons Christians suffer. Many are merely the result of our living in this fallen world. Others are due to our own behavior or those closest to us. Some are trials to our faith, or training in adversity to purify us as gold (see 1 Peter chapter 1).

Maybe we are learning something that can help us comfort someone else at a later time (see 2 Corinthians chapter 1).

There are times we cannot understand why we are suffering in a certain way, but we can learn to trust God in it, knowing that he only gives what is for our own good (see Romans 8:28-39). We are also promised that Jesus is with us through all our difficulties.

In Luke 18, Jesus tells us we ought always pray, and not faint and he pictures it with a parable of a woman that pestered the unjust judge until he relented and helped her. It may take a long time to get our answer, but God does hear and wants us to keep calling on him.

  • Sauls history with witchcraft - In Reply on 1 Samuel 16 - 4 years ago
Sorry it took me so long to get back to you:

    1 Samuel 28 &

    1 Samuel 16:23

And it came to pass, when the evil spirit from God was upon Saul, that David took an harp, and played with his hand: so Saul was refreshed, and was well, and the evil spirit departed from him.

    1 Samuel 18:10

And it came to pass on the morrow, that the evil spirit from God came upon Saul, and he prophesied in the midst of the house: and David played with his hand, as at other times: and there was a javelin in Saul's hand.

    1 Samuel 16:14

But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the LORD troubled him.

    1 Samuel 16:15

And Saul's servants said unto him, Behold now, an evil spirit from God troubleth thee.

    1 Samuel 19:9

And the evil spirit from the LORD was upon Saul, as he sat in his house with his javelin in his hand: and David played with his hand.

    1 Samuel 19:20

And Saul sent messengers to take David: and when they saw the company of the prophets prophesying, and Samuel standing as appointed over them, the Spirit of God was upon the messengers of Saul, and they also prophesied.

    1 Samuel 11:6

And the Spirit of God came upon Saul when he heard those tidings, and his ANGER was kindled greatly.

    1 Samuel 28:7

Then said Saul unto his servants, Seek me a woman that hath a familiar spirit, that I may go to her, and enquire of her. And his servants said to him, Behold, there is a woman that hath a familiar spirit at Endor.

    Acts 19:15

And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?

    >>Most of Sauls problems were of pride. The people wanted a King and God gave them what they wanted; which was for someone else to be a go-between so they didn't have to speak to God.

Rebellion is AS the sin of witchcraft. Saul sought out witches.

The day he "died" he prohibited the customary sacrifice to God for victory in Battle; and told the soldiers He would be their sacrifice! Saul and his 2 sons all died.

If you should decide to start your journey of Repentance and turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God ( Acts 26:18), we strongly suggest that you start by disposing of your collection of worldly books ( Acts 19:18,19), containing strictly worldly wisdom that is after the wisdom of men but not after God ( 1 Cor. 2:4-7), and that has you in such terrible bondage.

Seek, and ye shall find ( Matthew 7:7).

    In His Service.

  • Getting Free from Bondage - In Reply on Revelation 12 - 4 years ago
You're going to have to learn how to fight what got you where you are. You must be born again! John 3. Receive the Holy Spirit.

Read Ephesians 6. Demons are invisible. But we can see their fruit when they are around. For you it is addictions and unable to stop it from destroying your life. It's name is bondage.

    SPIRIT OF BONDAGE. Slavery,

Fears, ADDICTION, bondage to sin, compulsive sin, fear of death, servant of corruption, captivity to Satan

Loose the Spirit of Adoption on him.

    Romans 8:15; Romans 6:16; Hebrew 2:14,15; II peter 2:19,26; Acts 8:23

Read these scriptures so you will understand that Satan is your problem. The demon of bondage is going to fight back, but you must rely on and plead the Holy Blood of Jesus of Nazareth over you and your family. Don't give up.

Cast the demons into outer darkness and dry places.

Let me know how it's going. Do read your Bible every day. Read Acts 19:19. Get rid of all idols.

    On ACTS 19:4

The Word of God is God ( John 1:1) and is not of any private interpretation ( 2 Peter 1:20).

The word 'Repent' in different forms (repent, repentance, repented, repentest, repenteth, repenting, repentings) is mentioned 110 times in the KJV, and means a lot more than what people by nature have been conditioned to believe. The word 'repent' used in the New Testament was translated from the Greek word "metanoeo", and means to change, transform, to think differently or reconsider.

It is the key principle of all the teachings of Jesus Christ and the axiom (basis) of the Word of God and a prerequisite and primary requirement for the salvation of mankind. It actually means the changing of spirits - to turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God ( Acts 26:18).

For a better understanding and the 'spiritual truth' of what it means to repent, and learn how and by whom mankind has been deceived ( Rev. 12:9) and what people must do to be reunited with the true and living God, we invite you to seek Him according to the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive ( Matthew 7:7; John 14:17).

You need not that any man teach you ( Isaiah 54:13; 6:45; 1 John 2:27), as mankind follows after an image of a false god and a false Christ ( Matthew 24:24; Mark 13:22; Gal. 4:8; 2 Cor. 11:13-15; Rev. 12:9).

It is only by revelation of God that people will come to know the true Christ ( Daniel 12:4,9; Amos 3:7; Matthew 16:17; Luke 2:26; Romans 16:25; 1 Cor. 2:10; Gal. 1:16; Eph. 3:3,5; Rev. 1:1), and only then will you be able to overcome the spirit of this world ( 1 John 5:4; Rev. 3:21) and learn what 'True Repentance' means, and how this whole world has been deceived ( Rev. 12:9). It should also be remembered that it is a narrow way that leadeth unto 'Life', and few there be that find it ( Matthew 7:14).

LUKE 15:10. LIKEWISE, I SAY UNTO YOU, THERE IS JOY IN THE PRESENCE OF THE ANGELS OF GOD OVER ONE SINNER THAT REPENTETH
  • THE HOLY BLOOD OF JESUS - In Reply on Matthew 17:5 - 4 years ago
Jesus's blood is so Holy that no demon EVER opposed Him during His ministry. They left at a high rate of speed or asked to go into some pigs which promptly ran off the side of a cliff and died.

The subjects here are: spiritual warfare and the Authority of the Believers in Jesus, that are born again, Holy Spirit Baptized and protected through the shed Blood of Jesus.

Gospels show that when Satan tempted Jesus (after he had fasted 40 days), he first tempted Jesus with food.

Jesus countered Satan with the SCRIPTURES.

In the Lords Prayer, one verse says: "deliver us from evil." In Greek I think it translates as: deliver us from the evil.

Jesus has given us every means, including the Armor, in Ephesians 6; to scatter demons off ourselves, and others. Your prayers can be launched from one hemisphere to the other. We all have a personal responsibility to get in scripture and build up our ARSENAL against the Devil.

If you don't know what Authority of the Believer is, then listen to some Charles Capps videos on YouTube.

Be careful what is in your house, or what other house members bring into it. For example: if your teenager has a pentagram on the wall and blares "Tool" music through the walls. That's Satan taking advantage of you through someone you love. You have a right as owner of the home to remove offensive things. Be sweet but Tell the kid they can decorate THEIR apartment when they move out; and use headphones or you'll confiscate their tunes too. They'll be mad a while, but they like eating more. Be strong but be Christ-like when you interact.

Go in there and pray scripture when they go out with their friends. Sing some gospel songs. Ask the Lord to dispatch an angel to keep everything evil out of the house. Evil is invisible, but total chaos from a kid is a sign that a "doorway" is open somewhere. You will know what to do. Hug often.

Pass this info on to other struggling parents!

1 Corinthians 13:10. The decree in the scripture is that all things are made perfect in Christ the first fruit. Christ tells the church to wait, He's coming back. Who determined that His conditions and requirements for the church should change during the time he tells us to wait on His return. There is no other scriptural support to change the requirements and condition of the church during this period of Grace. Acts 2:38, 39. "for the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call." Mark 16:17, Acts 2:3-4, Acts 19:6. Speaking in tongues and baptism in Jesus name are still the requirements for salvation. When the Holy Ghost enters a person there is a reaction in the body from the anointing and rebirth process that causes the new born to cry out in tongues. Mark 16:17.

You need to go on YouTube and watch some spiritual warfare videos. I like Derek Prince.

Go to the entry of this website, in the red section to Community and select the "become a Christian " link. Go through that so you may be born again.

You can't be saved and practice witchcraft. So you need to understand how serious this is. Demons are invisible. Ephesians 6

They don't like to let go.

Clean your house, top to bottom of anything that would open a door to demons. It must be destroyed first. Acts 19:19.

When Derek prays, you pray too.

I lived in Tulsa 3 years as a contract draftsman. It's a whole different world of Christian ministry there. The unbelievers there hold nothing back at unrestrained mockery & public ridicule. That's where I was learning street ministry.

Public is not like in here. I apologize for over-reacting.

To Mishael: Yes Mishael, evil spirits are very real, but thanks to Jesus we have power over the enemy. I do want to ask why you felt the need to tell me not to mock things I don't understand? Have I offended you in some way? Was it my comment about Benny Hinn that bothered you? Again, I am not certain as to why you felt the need to respond to something I challenged. We as Christians are to test the spirits, and to prove all things. God's Holy Word is what we are to use as our plum line. With that said, let God be true, and let us lean on Him and His grace.

    Ridicule and accusation are spirits.

Demons are real; and invisible. Be glad you've never had one try to break your neck! I have.

Don't mock things you don't understand.
