    Donna Something to keep in mind what they saw was a vision or a sight, the same word is used in Acts 10:17 + 19 God was displaying something for a specific purpose. God was showing Peter to go to the gentiles Cornelius Household for they could receive Holy spirit In Acts 26:19 in context same thing God making something to occur to fulfill His word with Apostle paul. When God wants to accomplish His word nothing will stop that.

    First Peter 3:15; "be ready also to give an answer" = Here, the word "answer" translates from the Greek noun root (transliterated "apologia"; pronounced "apo-log-EE-ah"), and from which, derives the English noun "apology."

    This term originates the Christian Theological field of "Apologetics" of which a person, described as an "apologetic", defends True, Biblical Christianity with truths and proofs, which usually involve definitive and convincing arguments used to refute contradictions against it.

    Compare the word "answer" to its synonymous expression "earnestly contend for the Faith which was once delivered unto the saints" (Jude v.3).

    When using the same definition above, the Greek root "apologia" also translates into either "answer" or "defense" in the following references:

    Luke 12:11-12;

    Luke 21:14-15;

    Acts 22:1ff;

    Acts 24:10ff;

    Acts 25:8 & 16;

    Acts 26:1-2ff;

    Philippians 7 & 17;

    Hey Andy G van den Berg,

    You said, "...The word 'Repent' means a lot more than what people by nature have been conditioned to believe. It is the key principle of all the teachings of Jesus Christ and the axiom (basis) of the Word of God and a prerequisite and primary requirement for the salvation of mankind. It actually means the changing of spirits - to turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God ( Acts 26:18)..."

    I heard a story about repentance that, for me, is a fairly old story.

    So.....In China, a Han soldier had been captured. He had come to relaize the evil of that Han Dynasty . . . and, as an act of repentance, he not only left the Han Dynasty . . . he became a soldier with this other group of freedom fighters. So, as the story is used to clarify what it is to 'Repent', there is a major transfomation that takes place in deep, heart-felt, repentance!

    Another interesting word is 'Forgiveness'! When some people think of forgiving someone, it has nothing to do with becoming reconciled to a restored relationship. Yet, that is exactly what Jesus is talking about when He uses the word. In Christ, the main reason to forgive someone is to restore a broken relationship . . . hence, Reconcilement!

    And Richard, respectfully, I made mention that angels were men or women delivering messages in the 2 and only those 2 verses you mentioned specifically. If you want to talk of angels in the recount of events at Sodom and Gomorrah, then it's a case where different subjects, different people, and different angels were present and were involved. Those were angels, heavenly beings God sent to bring Lot and his family out of the city. They also delivered a message from God. These are 2 totally different uses of the word angel.

    In Rev. 12:7-9 you refer to heaven in this use and meaning is high and lifted up spiritual place, not the Heaven God dwells. Heaven has various uses and meanings. There is no way possible that God has enemies in His Heaven, meaning where He dwells.

    Remember you're trying to correct me, believing that I don't understand the Bible, yet you argue for having sin in your life. Jesus plainly states we must sin no more. Paul stated his God given purpose in Acts 26:18 "To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me." How can one be in the light but still living in darkness?

    Jeremiah 23:21-22 "I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied. But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings." Ministry that God did not send teaches falsely that we will sin more or less until Heaven. Jeremiah tells us that marks them as false teachers.

    Ask yourself this "If sinners go to Heaven who ends up in Hell and the Lake of Fire?" Just to be clear, all have need to be saved, and all can be set free from sin here now by Jesus' power to save from sin. Those that reject Christ and His teachings will be rejected by Him.

    Jesus was saying to Paul, about not being able to resist the truth, that it was Jesus who knocked him off his horse, and is Lord, calling to him; And that he must go forth in obedience with the truth of Jesus.

    On MARK 2:21

    By nature every person is born in sin through the sinful seed of their natural fathers and conditioned therein ( 1 Peter 1:23). For that reason and in order to become a son of God, which are born of God, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God, a person must be 'Born Again' ( John 1:12,13; 3:3-7; 1 John 3:9; 5:4).

    God is the judge over His Church and teaches us that you must be 'Born Again'. No believer and follower of the true Christ has ever made a claim that they are 'Born Again'. That is judging oneself and falsehood, as in truth they follow after an image of a false god and a false Christ ( Matthew 24:24; Mark 13:22; Gal. 4:8; Rev. 12:9). This is how Satan has transformed Himself into an angel of light ( 2 Cor. 11:13-15).

    Only through 'True Repentance' will God be able to reveal Himself, and adopt you as His sons and daughters ( Rom. 8:15,23; 2 Cor.6:18; Gal. 4:5; Eph. 1:5; Hebr. 12:5; 1 John 3:1).

    The word 'Repent' means a lot more than what people by nature have been conditioned to believe. It is the key principle of all the teachings of Jesus Christ and the axiom (basis) of the Word of God and a prerequisite and primary requirement for the salvation of mankind. It actually means the changing of spirits - to turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God ( Acts 26:18).

    For a better understanding and the 'spiritual truth' of what it means to repent, and learn how and by whom mankind has been deceived ( Rev. 12:9), and what people must do to be reunited with the true and living God, we invite you to seek Him according to the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive ( John 14:17).

    You need not that any man teach you ( Isaiah 54:13; 6:45; 1 John 2:27), It is only by revelation of God that you will come to know Christ ( Daniel 12:4,9; Amos 3:7; Matthew 16:17; Luke 2:26; Romans 16:25; 1 Cor. 2:10; Gal. 1:16; Eph. 3:3,5; Rev. 1:1). It is a narrow way that leadeth unto 'Life', and few there be that find it.

    On 2 THESS. 2:3

    The Word of God is God ( John 1:1) and not for any private interpretation ( 2 Peter 1:20). If it records in Rev. 12:9 that this whole world has been deceived, it did not speak of a particular country, group of people, person or religion, it meant the whole world.

    For a better understanding and the 'spiritual truth' what it means to repent, and learn how and by whom ( 2 Cor. 11:13-15) this whole world has been deceived and what mankind must do to be reunited with the true and living God, we invite you to seek Him according to the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive ( Matthew 7:7; John 14:17).

    The word 'Repent' in different forms (repent, repentance, repented, repentest, repenteth, repenting), is mentioned 110 times in the KJV, and there seems to be a great misconception what the true 'spiritual' meaning of the word is. The word 'repent' used in the New Testament was translated from the Greek word "metanoeo", and means to change, transform, to think differently or reconsider.

    Only through Repentance will God be able to reveal Himself, and adopt you as His sons and daughters ( Rom. 8:15,23; 2 Cor.6:18; Gal. 4:5; Eph. 1:5; Hebr. 12:5; 1 John 3:1) and reveal to you how this whole world has been deceived ( Rev. 12:9) and overcome this world ( 1 John 5:4).

It is the key principle of all the teachings of Jesus Christ and the axiom (basis) of the Word of God and a prerequisite and primary requirement for the salvation of mankind. It means the changing of spirits - to turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God ( Acts 26:18).

    It is only by revelation of God that people will come to know the true Christ ( Daniel 12:4,9; Amos 3:7; Matthew 16:17; Luke 2:26; Romans 16:25; 1 Cor. 2:10; Gal. 1:16; Eph. 3:3,5; Rev. 1:1). There is only one way to respond to your 'twisted' comments.

    Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve ( Matthew 4:10; Luke 4:8).

    Our message remains the same: Ye must repent.

    The Word of God is God ( John 1:1) and is not of any private interpretation ( 2 Peter 1:20).

12:9) and what people must do to be reunited with the true and living God, we invite you to seek Him according to the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive ( Matthew 7:7; John 14:17).

    You need not that any man teach you ( Isaiah 54:13; 6:45; 1 John 2:27), as mankind follows after an image of a false god and a false Christ ( Matthew 24:24; Mark 13:22; Gal. 4:8; 2 Cor. 11:13-15; Rev. 12:9).

    On MATTHEW 18:3

    We invested 20K in self-publishing the book 'A World Deceived' in 2005, and have invested our personal money into the website for 15 years, including the website administrator. The first two distributors of the book went bankrupt and there has been no distribution since 2008. We have no Tax-Free status with Revenue Canada.

    It should be noted that in over 36 years of service we have never collected/received, solicited or requested donations. The gift of 'Life' was freely given and freely do we give to all those that believe ( 2 Kings 5:16; Matthew 6:26; 10:8).

    With great swelling words you speak about 'love' but the latest comments you posted just confirmed that your comments were based on religious and man-made doctrines ( Matthew 15:9) and that you have not the love of God in you ( John 5:42). So, you want us to stop posting our message of Repentance, which is according to the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive ( John 14:17). The emphasis on the word 'cannot'. Legion also wanted to be left alone ( Mark 5:9; Luke 8:30). In summary our message remains the same: Ye must repent.

    The Baptism of Repentance is the key principle of all the teachings of Jesus Christ and the axiom (basis) of the Word of God and a prerequisite and primary requirement for the salvation of mankind. It actually means the changing of spirits - to turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God ( Acts 26:18).

    For a better understanding and the 'spiritual truth' of what it means to repent, and learn how and by whom mankind has been deceived ( Rev. 12:9) and what people must do to be reunited with the true and living God, we invite you to seek Him according to the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive ( Matthew 7:7; John 14:17). The emphasis again on the word 'cannot'.

    Regarding your views on Water Baptism it cannot save a person. Please read Hebrews 6:1,2. It was one of the rites of of the Jewish Religion ( Numbers 19:7, Hebrews 9:10). Like circumcision, it was strictly an act of faith, and as Peter explains it is an a pledge of good conscience towards God.

    May we suggest you read 1 Cor. 2:14,15 and than study what it means to repent and when you change from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God ( Acts 26:18) you will learn that the 'California Wildfires' are indeed God's wrath. It is the fruit of the unbelief of the people, as they follow after an image of a false god and a false Christ, as you do yourself ( Matthew 24:24; Mark 13:22; Gal. 4:8; 2 Cor. 11:13-15; Rev. 12:9).
