Contrary to popular beleif, Repentance is a step, a pillar and the agent unto the covenant God has given us as prophesied in Joel 2:12-14 This repentance, Has NEVER equated salvation. It suffices the requirement of the LAW, Baptism suffices the requirement of Promise, and tounges suffices the requirement of the Sign. These three are made one in us, LAW,Atonement and Charity.

    Acts 2:38 Amen.

Only our Heavenly abba daddy can put us all back on the very same page of the accurate Rightly Divided Word of the Truth and thats just what HE alone can do in these latter days in this Kingdom of God {Love-Salvation-Grace-Full Restoration in the Holy Ghost} once again as promised. The latter rain belongs to His chosen elect beloved Judah Holy Zion to be made of the Temple Made Without Hands amen.
  • Stephen F. Zielski on Acts 2 - 7 years ago
I am not your enemy a disciple though at first you sure treated me so. Sure. Their are those of us who know more and are sharper than others Rightly Dividing the Word but it was never meant to be that way. Only our Heavenly abba daddy can do this and YES HE WILL in these latter days before the Kingdom of God closes our Brother. Shalom.

Stephen Z; I just want to point out to you that though part of what you write is accurate and correct according to the Scriptures; a better knowledge of the entire history with respect to God's plan for man, shows more than what you say; and we have a tendency to negate the importance of the things done in past ages because our perception of history is so short. Maybe we can work together on this?
  • Stephen F. Zielski on Acts 2 - 7 years ago
Dear a disciple. I do not have any theories but the Rightly Divided Word of the truth itself and I back it. We still abide in the Kingdom of God which began at the Day of Pentecost Acts through Jude period. The Kingdom of God is and always has been a temporary age of the Gentiles which transitions back to the Kingdom of Heaven or Revelation. Its called accuracy a disciple. Shalom.
  • Stephen F. Zielski on Acts 2 - 7 years ago
Not long after the first century church two churchs or brides of the gentiles had evolved. The Apostate and Backsliding brides. Save but for His chosen elect beloved Judah holy Zion God will send the greater than John for our Blessed Lord Christ YESHUA is Glorified seated at Gods Right Hand amen. This Elijah Restores and Prepares His True and Genuine Bride once more unto His Everlasting Glory.
  • A disciple on Acts 2 - 7 years ago
Stephen Z; You are missing something major in your "theories." The kingdom of God and the kingdom of heaven is the same thing; and it is the announced glad tidings of Christ having come in the flesh, and the fulfillment manifested in the lives of the Saints of Jesus. The times of the Gentiles started when the kingdom was forfeited to Nebuchadnezzar, and will be removed at the Day of Christ.
  • A disciple on Acts 2 - 7 years ago
Alex; The kingdom of God does not come with observation; neither shall they say, Lo, here! or, Lo, there! for the kingdom of God is within you! "Let him that teaches WAIT on teaching!" "Verily I say to you, We speak that we do KNOW, and testify that we have seen; and no man receives our testimony!" Yet the fool is wiser in his own eyes than seven men who can render him a reason. PRAY Psalm 119!
  • ALEX on Acts 2 - 7 years ago

  • Stephen F. Zielski on Acts 2 - 7 years ago
Praise the Lord my God amen indeed. This day had had marked the entry into the Kingdom of God age = Gentiles. Proof positive that both John the baptist and Christ YESHUA had closed out the Kingdom of heaven or Old Testament age. Speaking in Tongues = Christ in You = the true and genuine Temple made without hands = Acts through Jude. We are now the latter days church age. Shalom beloved Judah Zion.
  • Stephen F. Zielski on Acts 2 - 7 years ago
Speaking in Tongues is and always has been the norm of the new birth which is { Christ in you } made of the true and genuine Temple made without hands unto His Everlasting Glory amen indeed. This is what the Word says and this is what it means. From the book of Acts through unto the book of Jude we are the latter days church in the Kingdom of God. Shalom!

Acts 2:38/ John 3:5 same thing I wish the denominational church would understand what Jesus and His Church taught.
  • David ramirez [email protected] on Acts 2 - 7 years ago
Baptism is one step closer to getting into heaven the next step is speaking in other tongues wish only god well understands you are baptized with the holy ghost 1Corinthians14 "For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him." also you would have to start living a holy life to take care of your body because it is gods temple. 1Corth619

God, through Peter on the day of Pentecost, gives us the instruction to salvation. In Acts 2:37, the people asked, "What must we do?" to be saved Then Peter answers in verse 38, Repent "and" be baptized "everyone" of you in the Name of Jesus Christ not father, son, holy ghost for the remission of sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Have you obeyed Acts2:37,38?
  • Anne on Acts 2 - 7 years ago
Thank God for the Holy Spirit who leads and guides us into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak; and he will show us things to come.
    ( John 16:13)
  • Billy on Acts 2 - 7 years ago
GOD came as the son. The bible says GOD was manifested in the flesh. We all know GOD is spirit. So GOD being spirit robed himself in flesh. Because without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins. He became flesh so he could shed blood for our sins.
  • Bruce on 1 John 2 - 7 years ago
Wayne: Joel 2:28 Prophesies of the Spirit being poured out upon man. That's repeated Acts 2:17. It's what happen a few Thousand years ago: Acts2:16. Last Days started in The Days of Christ. This World is growing more Darker and Evil Dailey. Reach The Lost, for The Trumpet will soon Sound.

baptism is FOR one thing only REMISSION OF SINS. this is the last step to becoming a CHRISTIAN.
  • Chuck on Acts 2 - 7 years ago
Remember the question that was asked of Peter. What must we do? Peter told the people what they must do:acts2:38 and who else should dothis:acts2:39
  • Spenner on Galatians 2 - 7 years ago
It is such a wonderful experience to be Crucified with Christ. In 2004 on the day Pentecost was celebrated I was rebaptized in the name of Jesus ( Romans 6:3-8; Acts 2:38).This was the result of revelation.Sadly many are only baptised in Jesus' titles( Matt 28:19)and not his Name. The Lord Jesus is the head of the church why is his name not used in Baptism?

    Acts 2:17:
“And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:”
  • Donna Cromb on Leviticus 23 - 7 years ago
Acts 2:1 refers to Lev 23:15 and tells it was 50 days after Passover when Jesus Christ died and arose, but am I missing something? I don't see how the unleavened bread for 7 days, 7 days of fire offerings, or 7 Sabbaths have to do with Pentecost and the coming of the Holy Spirit. Sand how does that relate to Easter? My Bible also says to look at Deut 16:9 and 20:16. Why when it is just a prophecy
  • Peter Spencer on Romans 6 - 7 years ago
Romans 6 Clearly shows how important it is to identify with the Lord Jesus' death, burial and resurrection and be Crucified with him. This can only take place when we are Baptised in his name( Acts 2:38).Sadly many in the church are Baptised in his titles and not in the name which is above all other names. In Paul's day many were Baptised into John, and not in Jesus' name much like today.
  • Ray321 on Acts 2 - 7 years ago
Acts 2:16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel The Apostles thought they were on the last days. Joel 1:15 15 Alas for the day! for the day of the Lord is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come. The Apostle knew the day of the Lord was near. They were living it , but something stops all that, in chapter 7, the stoning of Stephen. Jews rejected Christ.

    Acts 2:38

Believing only is not all we must do. Read John 3 about Nicodemus!
How can Christians be so blind? Many are. It going to make it because they only believe in parts.

Believing is only the first step!
  • BSP on Acts 2 - 7 years ago
Verse 11 shows the power of hearing the good news of God in one's own language.
  • A disciple on Acts 2 - 7 years ago
"..Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven..every man heard them speak in his own language." It may seem like an insignificant point that there were Jews from every Nation under heaven; but there is much in it. Because of Israel's sin and rebellion, rejection of the faith and God's Spirit in His Prophets; they were put under the dominion of the Gentiles until the Day of the LORD.
