Jesus wants us to be feed with his heavenly manna the word of God. Inviting Jesus to dwell in us and listens to his word and reading his words God will increase our knowledge to understand the scriptures. By obeying his words this is the perfect good works to show Jesus that we love him and will follow him all the days of our lives. Jesus loves us and he wants us to rest everything to him coz he loves us and he always confirm his promises to us. Keep thanking God and praising God for sheding his blood to us.

He is 100 God and 100 Man. 1 Timothy 3:16 God was manifest in the flesh in the body of Christ the human body, with bones, with blood , with flesh meaning VISIBLE. As Jesus himself is the word of God. Jesus will full fill the scriptures by feeding us with his heavenly manna - the word of God. Jesus is faithful to his promises and always show 's his love, mercy and grace all the days of our lives all we need to do is not to stop thanking him and praising him everyday , The Savior of our lives as he had anointed us, Jesus is fighting the battle for us no enemy can touch us.. the battle belongs to Jesus only...God sent his son Jesus to carry all the burdens and paid the price for us because of his love. God 's plan is to give us life, wiping our tears and follow him.

I wonder why Paul when retelling his story in Acts 22:16 said that he was told by Aninias to arise and be baptized, calling on His Jesus name? The kingdom is also synonymous with the church. We are added to the church, kingdom after we become Christians. Yes, we most certainly believe the whole Bible. Jacob is right when he says who were they talking to. The Jews who had been God 's chosen people needed to believe in Jesus as the Messiah and we are grafted in and become part of the Kingdom, church after becoming Christians. And of course the kingdom is spiritual. Colossians 1:12-15. We are spiritually one with Christ after obeying the gospel. Dwelling in our hearts through faith. Ephesians 3:17 and Ephesians 4:1-7
  • Joni G on Acts 2 - 10 years ago
The entire Bible is about the grace of God and love brought down to man. The Great Commission of Christ still stands today, so people deciding to follow Christ must first believe in all He is about and what He can do for them. Some followers of Christ believe you are saved before baptism some after. Baptism is still required today. After baptism, a believer is added to the church, kingdom. Colossians 1:13-14 Colossians 2:9-14. I love Jesus, our kinsman Redeemer, who redeemed us when no one else could. God bless you Jacob.

Colossians 1:22,23. The stipulation is IF YOU CONTINUE IN THE FAITH then will you be presented Holy, unblameable, unreproveable in his sight. Even John 3:16 says "should not perish " free will is the determining factor here. God does not turn us into robots apon conversion, we still choose to continue in the faith or not.
  • Andrew Berger on Colossians 1 - 10 years ago
Much of this mistery spoken of in colosians is Christ revealed in the glorified form and His standing upon the earth as one body just as job saw it when he said i know that my redeemer liveth and at the latter day He shall stand upon the earth. Christ body was broken for the fellowship and gathering of the saints unto himself to one body and full stature, having reconciled all things to Himself. The cross is key, so key that it the only way posible to do this. He restores us to His presence only through His precious blood and by grace we will stand. Thank you JESUS
  • Joni G on Matthew 5 - 10 years ago
Bill, the moment we believed in Jesus Christ and were baptized in Christ 's death, we were added to the church, Acts 2:47.We were also transferred to the kingdom. Read Colossians 1:13. Colossians chapters 1 and 2 are good to read. Praise God from whom all blessings flow!

  • Ron on Colossians 1 - 10 years ago
Verse 21 22 Oh wretched man that I am while in this flesh, engaged in spiritual warfare, what joy to know that when the battle is over, I will be presented to the Father, holy, unblameable, and unreproveable. The spiritual battle of this sinful flesh and the forces of Satan will end in Victory for all who have received our Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. GLORY

To add to kelly 's statement, read King James Version of John 14 28 and ask yourself, Is Jesus returning to himself? John 14 28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father for my Father is greater than I. Was Jesus displaying a split personality? I think not. He glorified his Father, the Almighty God and Creator of all things.

I cannot wait until Jehovah has all the false religions destroyed! Satan has people in such a dark state. Satan is the great puppetere and his religious leaders are his puppets. Read 1 John 5 19.

Colossians our eyes are truly a gateway. They must always be on Him. Side tracked... So easy this day and age. Must always be reconciled to Him and looking at things not on this earth but above.

If you think Jesus isn 't God, you should read Daniel 7 13 14 and you will understand that when He called himself the Son of Man, he was claiming to be the Lord who would rule over all the earth. In Matthew 25 31 46 Jesus taught this same principle 3 days before h was crucified. Jesus was before all things and higher in rank than all things, because He made all things!
  • Denise on Colossians 1 - 10 years ago
We should pray to God for strength to do to his will and a mind to accept his will.also understand that God is the Father Christ is the son of God and the Holy Spirit is the Spirit which is sent from heaven to comfort lead guide and teach and give power to all that seek and serve God righteously.God and Jesus are not the same.God is our Father who sent to us his son Jesus to die for our sins and he hung on the cross and spoke unto God saying Father forgive them for they know not what they do.so Jesus was not talking to himself .Jesus sits at the right hand of God in heaven.
  • Deby Dougherty on Colossians 1 - 10 years ago
Phyllis, I don 't know what Kelly said but Jesus said exactly that he was God. He was God incarnated in human form with unity of the Holy Spirit. That 's how he was able to nail satan to the cross in form of human flesh. And put all sin to death.
  • Roger Minor on Colossians 1:8 - 10 years ago
This is a determination of a total sacrifical love with no promotion of human, physical, or moral initiation. The guidance of the guidance of the Spirit is in total control, but that is not the question The question is "How do we allow the Spirit to have total control. Well, know that we must walk in the spirit in order not to fulfil the lust of the flesh these being contrary one to the other, but we have not yet gotten to the essence of the principle. Well here it is "These words I speak unto you, they are spirit and they are life. Simply allowing the Word of GOD to get off the pages and do in your life through obedience will fulfil Colossians 1 8 in your life
