"And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men " How many thousands of times have we tried to do good only to be sadly disappointed by people's indifference, or taking it all the wrong way! We wonder why some just automatically assume evil or deceitful motives, and leave hardly any room for natural friendly relations but that is unfortunately what we often meet with from men saved and unsaved! But Jesus is never like that with any of us. He is truly "A Friend that sticks closer than a brother." And while we cannot help but want to please others and be loved and accepted we must rise above our natural feelings, and the things of this life to look solely unto Him who is always constant and faithful in His love and acceptance knowing that the things we do with the best intentions to men are all kept in good remembrance with Jesus and He never can forget or overlook the slightest efforts.

I'm very confused I am trying to understand

Thank you Jesus for teaching the Disciples who helped inscribe your Word from the Father. Thank you Lord for this opportunity to brings thoughts forward for other Christians to see. Anger and wrath is part of my flesh as yesterday the auto driver cuts in front of me. It feels good to enlist these dangerous emotions. Yet you Lord promise forgiveness and retreat from such actions in our Gospel, Amen

Please engage in an experiment with me...Set the Ten Commandments alongside you ( Exodus 20). Then, while reading this chapter, study the Ten Commandments. You will find the one foreshadows the other. You will find the New Testament law of love and grace, mirrors beautifully, the Ten Commandments...quite a Sunday School lesson here...

Yes That is our Ultimate Goal to keep our every being set on Jesus Christ so that we can be assured our home in Heaven with Our Loving Creator. Although this is not easy as we are sinners and need Gods help!

Verse 2: There are so many distractions in the world today, but we want to follow this counsel to fix our minds on spiritual things.

it's very important for the children to obey their parents as this is pleasing unto the Lord. This is very strong commandments to honour thy Father and thy mother

Verse 16: one way that we can encourage others is by singing spiritually upbuilding songs.

I love the comment quoting Colossians 3:3,4: "For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory." I am part of the dead in Christ when I die to self and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.

Verse 9: We should put off the old personality just as we would take off a dirty and foul smelling garment. We must work hard to put on the new personality that is approved by God.

Colossians 3:23 tells us plainly who we are to please. It does not matter whether or not our job is considered to be important or not. If we do the job for God and not for any worldly praise, then that is all that matters.

Verse 13: We must continue to put up with one another in the same way that God continues to put up with us. Jehovah God has freely forgiven us and we should imitate his example of forgiveness.

Colossians 3:6 For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience. Paul was warning the Church of Collosians that they should be dead in Christ and not sin, or God will take away there life on earth. The disobedience Child of God was still saved but will be going to Heaven sooner.

We need to put on and clothe ourselves with love because it is the perfect bond of union as verse 14 brings out.

Colossians 3:10 The image that created me renewed in knowledge. Heavy on the renewed.We know the knowledge before coming down.I know that zero is infinity. BUT if something is brand new this is where it comes from. This is where life comes from here originally. But the seed reproduces in a perpetual motion to carry on.Therfore all things are from God. He knows the odds on where the seeds fall.

This sums up our relationship with Christ as it relates to this world,How we relate with our spouses and children and relationships with unbelievers and our character in this world, it is chapter full of insights for us to walk Christ like ans focus on christ for He is our life Amen,until His return. "Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth." The heathen spirit that reigns over the hearts and minds of men, is what's behind all their "philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ." If we were of this world then we would love the same things the world loves, and live by its spirits. But we seek another world!

Only an Apostolic, Jesus name (Pentecostal) church will anoint you with oil, and pray with you at the same time. No other churches believe in healing. And as Colossians 3:17 says, do ALL in the name of Jesus. If you want healing, the TITLES of father, son, and holy ghost, won't do it. God's word itself says - Jesus.

There is no room for anger in our precious lives and not everyone is the elect of God

I myself have some trust issues but according to the bible we love one another as Christ loved us.

Philippians 3:20-21 - For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:    Colossians 3:2 - Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

The Lord is a rich enjoyable father . I want to grow more with his Word teaching me the path of goodness .

The inspired psalms were still being used by Christians to praise God. We too should sing praises to Jehovah God.

God reminded us to be faithful to Jesus and love one another as God loves us. Thank you Lord Jesus for being faithful to your words help me Jesus to understand your words help me Lord to be born again in spirit all the days of my life cleanse me by your blood and renew my soul my mind and let your spirit be unto me i will praise you Jesus and worship you alone thank you for your blood amen

Amen Jesus tried to make this simple for us but the devil knows if he can keep you from being baptized in that singular all powerful only saving name of Jesus he can keep from being saved Acts 4:12 none other name under heaven whereby ye must be saved Colossians 3:17 Do all in the name of Jesus .
