That is enlightening so see that you have thought out this issue. It is certainly plausible that there are TWO seven year periods; and that the Antichrist may appear to be Christ to the world solving their problems after that event with the time period stated to clean up. The problem with this is that there are too many parallels between Armageddon and this event (hail; fire and the realization that the God of the Bible is truly Lord to Israel and the world). There are notable differences; mainly the lack of mention of the Antichrist with these warring nations. The best response is that this is two different campaigns going on; the setup is the "rumors from the North and East" mentioned in Daniel 11:44. Thus; the final battle starts with a conflict between these nations and the armies fighting with Antichrist that move across the Euphrates and consolidate in Mediggo where so many past conflicts have raged; and I believe Napolean himself predicted would indeed be the place of the ideal geography for a major war in the future. As in the past; however after the encroachment from the north in Ezekiel 48; those who consolidate in Armageddon will attempt to fight Jerusalem where "half the city will be taken" according to Zechariah. THEN they will start fighting each other and ultimately as they see Christ returning each other. The final phase therefore will be all those who the 3 angels deceive to fight Christ Himself who have taken the mark. Antichrist may rule the whole world; but surely some will attempt to resist; and the fact that one sixth survive from the Northern army ( Ezekiel 39:2) shows that they indeed DIDN'T take the mark of the Beast; or they would have also fought Christ at Armageddon. Some will in fact return the prisoners as other verses indicate; this makes the Battle not the same as AFTER the 1000 years with Gog and Magog. I could be wrong-it is clear that Israel is NOT living securely with unwalled villages yet. It may after Daniel 9:27.

    Ronald,

It's the last week of the 70th week.

Jesus had 3.5 year ministry on earth, then

Gog gets 3.5 years end-time power as anti-christ.

There is no 3.5 years of peace, that's not possible. You've been getting that all along with the worldwide fanfare Putin receives. He saved civilization by defeating US backed ISIS in Syria in 2015. No one can touch Putin, he knows everything he needs to know, and never falters. He's peaceful by saving his strength for when he needs it. Gog surprises everyone at the falling away reveal 2 Thessalonians 2:3; that describes anti-christ sending nuclear missiles, while his counterpart, the US president, is left speechless Jeremiah 50:43

The 5th trumpet army, Revelation 9:1-11: for 21 years, Mystery Babylon US invaded Iraq, destroyed Syria, Libya and killed millions of Muslims, (not Christians), because Muslims don't have the seal of God in their foreheads. It is allegory for what happened during the ended war on terror. In a prophetic time line, we are right here ( Ezekiel 21:7) with not much time left, but 2 seals.

The 6th trumpet army vs 13-21, Gog, crushes the previous 5th trumpet army. This is how Babylon falls. It describes the day of the Lord.

The king of the north defeats the king of the south ( Daniel 11:40) Also, like above, describing the same thing as above, and many more.

If we are in the end-time, and fearing war the big one (6th trumpet), wouldn't we have seen the 5th trumpet by now, or did 9-11-01 pass without notice?

    Free,

I live in the US, but all the signs, the tidings ( Ezekiel 21:7) tell me to get out so I don't partake in her bombings ( Revelation 18:4). Why would God instruct that if He didn't mean it? God told Noah to build an ark to escape the flood, God saw that Lott was taken out of Sodom and Gomorrah before it's destruction; there is a pattern here.

You know the US is never going to stop pushing the king of the north ( Daniel 11:40) until ( Obadiah 1) settles in.

I have been looking at English speaking areas of the Caribbean Islands, but so far it all seems iffy? I also risk danger when the world is wobbling ( Isaiah 24:20) and I'm rounded up and put in a cage for being Christian.
  • Cecil - In Reply - 2 years ago
    Chris,

Prophesy happens once or twice, maybe even 3 times, Israel will be invaded (again) by Gog, and taken ( Ezekiel 38:1-17). And when Israel is taken, where is her protection against captivity? One must be able to decipher events between the 5th-6th & 7th trumpets to know the end-times. Questions like "who is the beast and who is Babylon" ( Revelation 18)? Who is the king of the north ( Daniel 11:40), and who is the king of the south? Who are Jacob and who are Esau representing (nations) in the book of Obadiah; when did the two boys ever fight? No, it's a future battle. The thing is, all 3 depictions are describing the same thing, the same battle, the sixth trumpet day of the Lord. The same thing happens with the sealed saints, and people think "new characters" have been added to the narrative.

For me, Mystery Babylon is America, and Babylon proper are the allies within the crooked system, while the beast is Russia. After the USSR fell, the little horn popped up in 1991 as the new Russian Federation ( Daniel 7:8). There is much more to it, but that's for your curiosity to search out.

This is for Mike Keese concerning the Antichrist and love of women

"Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god:

for he shall magnify himself above all"

  • S Spencer - In Reply - 2 years ago
    Hi Mike.

I also hold the view that this is future and is talking about the Antichrist.

    Jesus mentions it being future.

Matthew 24:15. When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

( Daniel 11:31 And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.)

This has happened in the past with Antiochus IV, " Before "Jesus ministry here on earth but it's going to happen again.

It's what's called a double reference in scripture.

    God bless.

    Hi Mike.

Daniel 11:37. Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.

This quote The desire of women is a title in the Hebrew language. It has a messianic expectation. It doesn't mean the desire "FOR" women as we would put it.

    God bless.

Perhaps someone else can help us on this.

    Hey Mike Keese,

You will find that in Daniel 11:37, some put this at the end times, but my understanding, this was in the past, Read the entire chapter and also 1 Maccabees will talk about some of it. Antiochus IV is who this is speaking of and what he did to Jerusalem and stopping the daily sacrifices, the abomination of desolation in the temple. Whoever was found in possession of a Torah was put to death, whoever circumcised their children were put to death and a lot more. I will keep it short, may this help.

    God bless,

the king of the south goes about to rule the land tho the king of the north dominated the king of the south. at the end of the chapter the king of the north falters due to his opposition of God almighty.

Hello Gaylin. In Daniel chapter 11, we read that the angel (of Daniel 10:5,6) had come to give Daniel words about the future kingdoms: of Persia, verse 2 (3 + 1 kings: Cambyses, Pseudo-Smerdis, Darius the Great plus the fourth, Xerxes (same as the one in the Book of Esther).

Then of the Grecian Kingdom (verses 3,4): Alexander the Great.

The Kings of the South & North (verses 5-20): the Ptolemies (of Egypt) & the Seleucids (of Syria).

So without giving you anymore detail which you may not have interest in, the King of the North doesn't refer to Satan but to actual kings of Syria, which included Antiochus I (v 6), Antiochus III (vv 15-19), his son, Seleucus IV (v 20), & Antiochus IV (vv 21-35).

But you're correct about the King of the South referring to the Ptolemies of Egypt. However, your last statement about "all unbelievers converting to Christianity by the miracles of Satan" is incorrect & doesn't have any connection to this passage in Daniel, nor anywhere in God's Word.
  • Gaylin on Daniel 11 - 3 years ago

Is the king of the North satan coming as a whirlwind to impersonate the coming of Jesus and the king of the South representing atheism or some other type of false god worship?

I believe the king of the South references Egypt and pharaoh's statement " I don't know God".

In the end, all none Jesus believers will be converted to "Christianity" by the miracles of satan's impersonating the return of Jesus.

Jode & everyone I'm sorry to intrude in your discussion earlier, with world view & opinion hopefully it wasn't unwanted. To add to the Biblical discussion I pretty much agree with most answers given. I also do not believe it to be the 'Mark' however through wisdom of this time & everything we are witnessing & experiencing we are all much more wise to see how in the future 'the beast' may try to play out that 'Mark'.

    Matthew 24:24, Matthew 24:1-51, Daniel 9:21-27

I also do not believe Matthew 24:15 has yet happened, but we're told to be watchful

    Luke 12:1-59, Daniel 11:24-45, note Daniel 11:35, Daniel 12:1-13, Ezekiel 39:11-29,

    * 2 Thessalonians 2:1-17 the 'great falling away' hasn't happened yet either

The prophecy in Zechariah 8:20-23 speaks of the future time, in the Millenium period, when Israel, who once rejected God & His Messiah, will truly come to know Him & adore Him. Such will be their joy & testimony, that even the nations around will be aware of this change & the blessings upon them - the heathen will "come to seek the LORD of Hosts in Jerusalem & to pray before the LORD" (v22). They will even cling to Israel in the future (v23), when once Israel was a hated & despised people.

In Daniel 11:32 however, we see an earlier part of Jewish history; verses 21-35 speaks of a Grecian King, Antiochus IV Epiphanes (career from 175-164 BC), who made several expeditions into Egypt (vv24-27), & then turned his hatred onto Israel (v28). In venting his anger upon the Jews, Antiochus declared the Mosaic ceremonies illegal & erected in the Holy Place a statue of Zeus (v31). Some Jews resisted him & were martyred (vv32,33). As evil as this king was to the Jews, we also get a picture of this king's antitype, in the Anti-Christ who will once again come upon the Jews (vv36-45). Here again, the Jews will suffer badly for their rejection of the True God & His Christ, but will one day in the future, will worship Him through the Name above all names, & as we read in the Zechariah portion, they will be mighty witnesses for Christ Jesus.

So these two passages show how hard the hearts of Israel are & the change coming. Despite so many prophetical warnings, as well as the Son of God presenting Himself to them to alert them, making God real before their eyes, even giving His Life for them, they still remained blinded & deaf to the patient Call of God. But one day they will know & see the One Whom they pierced ( Zechariah 12:10; Revelation 1:7) & full blessing will be restored to them, as even to those who call on Jesus now.

    Islands of the Sea

    Wesley's Notes for Isaiah 41:1

41:1 Keep silence - Attend diligently to my plea. Islands - By islands he means countries remote from Judea, inhabited by the idolatrous Gentiles. Renew - Strengthen themselves to maintain their cause against me; let them unite all their strength together. Near - Unto me that we may stand together, and plead our cause, and I will give them free liberty to say what they can on their own behalf.

[you can use the search (box) engine to read all of the "islands of the sea" or "isles" scriptures]

This is what I was taught: that these islands are actually other continents bordered by water (seas or oceans). Presumably Gentile. No where near the Mideast regions.

The Sea of Galilee, the Jordan River, the Red Sea and Mediterranean Sea are mentioned a number of times in both the Old and New Testaments. Each the the three bodies of water serves as geographical boundary markers in Numbers 34:1-12.

    Ezekiel 26:15-18 (sounds like NYC)

    Jeremiah 2:10-11,

    Jeremiah 31:10, Isaiah 60:9,

    Isaiah 42:10, 11:11, 24:25, 66:19, Daniel 11:18

The USA is bordered on 3 sides by water and would be considered an island.

For the truth that so many fail to see: see the documentary ITS WORSE THAN YOU THINK on youtube, if still there or on rumble and for sure at revelationsofjesuschrist.c I was at first dismissive, then skeptical, then perplexed, and quickly moved to repentance. I thought like many, that I knew and wouldn't be fooled. I didn't realize how deceived I was. Time is very short. View and pray for insight and wisdom. Your in for quite an education. It is worse than you think. Realize this one thing, no matter what you believe about the jab, mark or no mark, hand or no hand, (if you understood the greek root of the word you'd understand completely), IF the mark is here, then so is the beast. One does not precede the other. When in Daniel 11:24 prophesies of the anti-Christ type (Antiochus Epiphanes), it does not preclude the end times anti-Christ. This is just a foreshadowing of things to come. As it was in the beginning so shall it be in the end. Adam and Eve were in paradise, free from death. They were warned not to take into them what was forbidden or the would die (spiritually) and once consumed or taken into their bodies, they did die and they too were deceived. It just wasn't as the deceiver had claimed not. We have been warned from the beginning and we still don't see. We haven't loved God so we have been given a great delusion. We have all been deceived on a grand scale. Just as the religious leaders of Jesus time who knew the "old Testament" backwards and forwards did not see in the spirit, but only thru their carnal minds, they too missed the reality of the Messiah. They couldn't accept it and refused to believe it, to the point of killing God. So to, think we know, we think we will see it all coming. Just as Jesus said he would return like a thief in the night, (catch everyone unaware, unexpectedly), so to in parallel and counterfeit to Christ the beast has entered in peaceably (which translates unnoticed). Wake up you've been deceived.

Verse Daniel 8:9. Out of one of them came forth a little horn - Some think that Antiochus Epiphanes is meant; it is the Roman government that is intended; and although very great at its zenith, yet very little in its rising.

Waxed-great toward the south - The Romans made Egypt a province of their empire, and it continued such for some centuries.

Toward the east - They conquered Syria, and made it a province.

Toward the pleasant land.] Judea, so called Psalms 106:24; Jeremiah 3:19; Daniel 11:16; Daniel 11:41. It is well known that they took Judea, and made it a province; and afterwards burnt the city and the temple, and scattered the Jews over the face of the earth.

    THE PROPHECY

Dan: 9:26: """And after threescore and two weeks"""(in the last week) shall Messiah (Jesus) be cut off, (die) but not for himself,( for the sins of the world) and the people (solders') of the prince (Titus PRINCE OF ROME his father was Vespasian Cesar Pontifex Maximus pagan high priest).that shall come( in AD 70) shall destroy the city (Jerusalem) and the sanctuary;(temple) and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

    Adam,

Mystery Babylon behaves and fulfills prophesy as if mirroring the beast. At the day of the Lord, and while in the midst of destroying the whole house of Israel (modern day), anti-christ attacks and takes 3 nations from his own confederacy.

( Ezekiel 38:13) Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil? anti-christ destroyed his own property.

    Daniel confirms the prophesy:

( Daniel 7:24) And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them (Gog); and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings, [Sheba, and Dedan, and Tarshish].

( Daniel 11:42) He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape. [Saudi Arabia, Egypt & Turkey?]

    ..............................................................................

On 9-11-01 America attacked itself, blamed the attack on a patsy and rushed off to war, all on a pack of lies. To fight an "enemy" who fought on the US side against Iraq and Syria as hired mercenaries. This is "The Greater Israel Project," carving out a buffer zone between Israel, their neighbors and more.

US Statement From General Wesley Clark: (after 3 towers in NY were plucked), we're going to take out 7 ME countries in 5 years.

( Revelation 9:10) And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men FIVE months.

After Biblical Babylon falls, the Beast "takes" 3 of his 10 allies, leaving 7 nations in his command. The US does prophesy backwards to mimic what the Beast does by taking 3 of their own horns (towers), then taking 7 nations in 5 years (months). According to the rules of numerology, this is a perfect supplanted fit.
  • Walter Bratton on Obadiah 1 - 3 years ago
If Gog/thebeast(of Revelation), anti-christ did all that God asked of him, by destroying Israel/Babylon, then what turned God against hisprized army? Theanswer is "at thesame time" by doing God's will, thebeastthinks an "evil thought".

    Ezekiel 38:10-13

10 Thus saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, that AT THE SAME TIME shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an EVIL THOUGHT:

11 And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,

12 To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.

13 Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?

Daniel has a connection to vs 13 above:

( Daniel 7:24) And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them (anti-christ); and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings, [Sheba, and Dedan, and Tarshish].

( Daniel 11:42) He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape. [Saudi Arabia, Egypt & Turkey?]

The beast attacks 3 of 10 nations gathered unto him, nations dis-loyal thatsurround Israel. He subdues and spoils them by ground warfare (like Judah), not by annihilating them to dust like the house of Israel (Isaiah:13). God is mad because this violence has destroyed earth, knocked it off its axis ( Isaiah 24: 18) the sun, moon are ashamed. anti-christseeks a "Greater Israel Project" of his own, with limited time.

Why not talk more about the end-times, so the ignorant may become wise? Something big is coming our way, catastrophic. You are bright with the NT, no doubt, but what of the OT? Jesus never shied away from honoring the prophets, and without them, there'd be nothing to fulfill. More importantly, in our times, we are seeing Revelation unfold. Shouldn't you understand the signs and tell the people over affirmations?

Do you know how many Christians believe Jesus is coming next to save us, while not understanding antichrist must yield 42 months of world power, prior to Messiah's appearing? Christians are in a spiritual haze, without compass, no order of semblance or understanding. They know what someone has told them.

I see 99% NT here, some to never know the prophets are more accurate than the morning newspaper. The prophets paint America as Mystery Babylon (new Rome) that gets hit with the "abomination of desolation" at the day of the Lord, sixth trumpet. There's only east vs west powers left: beast & Babylon. Come to terms with America being that evil, backsliding militant government, where in one hour is brought to naught. ( Revelation 18:18-20) God avenges the blood of prophets on her, the same forgotten prophets of today.

The day of the Lord does not mean what most think it does ( Isaiah 13) ( Isaiah 47) ( Revelation 18). For people of earth, Babylon, it is a day of darkness and thick dark clouds. The beast has super weapons ( Ezekiel 21:9-12); devices ( Daniel 11:25) at sixth trumpet, and ( Daniel 11:24) post sixth trumpet. His weapons cause enough damage to knock the earth off its axis ( Isaiah 24:20) wobble, causing less daylight, a global curse. Joel 2:1-11 gives a visceral account of the unstoppable smart missile strike. The sixth trumpet is effectively the destruction of the whole house of Israel ( Isaiah 24), save the one hundred forty four thousand, elect. Between the sixth and seventh trumpets lie mans worst days.
